Love isn’t about what you’ve lost. It’s about finding someone who sees all of you—and stands beside you anyway.
When a car accident stole her ability to walk, Mary Smithwick refused to let it steal her future.Starting over in Montana as the administrative manager for Lighthouse Security Investigations, Mary is determined to prove she belongs. She doesn’t expect to find herself drawn to Bert Tomlinson, a former Navy SEAL whose quiet strength and unwavering respect make her feel truly seen. Working side by side, their professional partnership deepens into something neither is ready to admit.
For Bert, protecting others is instinct, but his feelings grow as he sees Mary's resilience, intelligence, and fierce independence. But thinking those feelings were one-sided, he vowed to remain just friends.
Until danger forces his hand.
While on her first vacation in over a year, Mary uncovers signs that someone is watching her. Bert races to her side, posing as her fiancé to keep her safe. Forced into close proximity, pretense gives way to truth and feelings neither can deny.
But the threat is real. Time is running out. And this time, love may be the greatest risk of all.
As an Award Winning and International Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kobo Best Selling Author, I have always been an avid reader. I joke that I "cut my romance teeth" on the old historical romance books. I’ve written as a hobby for over 30 years. In 2014, I finally gave in to the characters in my head pleading for their story to be told. Thus, Emma's Home was created.
My first novel, Emma's Home became an Amazon Best Seller in 3 categories within the first month of publishing. Its success was followed by the rest of the Fairfield Series and then led into the Love's Series. From there I have continued with the romantic suspense Alvarez Security Series and now the Saints Protection & Investigation Series.
My books are filled with sweet romance and hot sex; mystery, suspense, real life characters and situations. My heroes are alphas, take charge men who love the strong, independent women they fall in love with. I worked as a counselor in a high school and have been involved in education for the past 30 years. I recently retired and now can spend more time devoted to my writing.
I have been married to a wonderfully patient man for 35 years and have 2 adult, very supportive daughters. When writing, my dog or one of my cats will usually be found in my lap!
Bert Tomalinson is a Montana Lighthouse Keeper. Mary Smithwick was former logistics in the military now newly hires manager for LSI Montana.
Mary and Bert there is an attraction and chemistry them right from the start. I like the way Maryann Jordan weaves this story and how living with a disability and trials and emotions involved.
It has been a long awaited story and so worth it !!
Oh dear lord Maryann Jordan, what are you doing to me!!! Watch your heart people because this absolutely amazing and heartfelt story will decimate you, in the most beautiful and unforgettable way.
There is no one who can write a heartfelt romance quite like Maryann Jordan. There is just so much emotion and depth within the magic of the pages she writes that you’re incapable of doing anything except holding on for dear life as Maryann Jordan takes you on a whirlwind of journey that will give you the biggest hangover you’ve experienced.
I’ve been looking forward to Bert and Mary’s story. I had it in my head that they were an older couple, no idea why lol. Their bond has been teasing us throughout the previous books in this series. We’ve had a front row seats to their stolen glances and protective ways.
Bert. Sigh…….. This man stole my heart before I turned to the first page, but having had a front row seat to this beautiful, caring and gentle man he can keep it. I have willingly handed it over and never want it back.
Yes, Bert is a total alpha male and protector. But he’s also gentle and caring. As much as he wanted to do everything for Mary, he understood her need for independence and to do things on her own.
I wanted to jump through the pages when he hesitated to admit his feelings for fear of losing her, tell him to do it because the risk was so worth it. How could she not love him for the amazing man is. He is, without a doubt, the kind of man we all dream of wanting.
Mary is such a beautiful character. She wildly independent but understands and accepts that she may need help at times. She’s so mentally strong and despite her injury she didn’t sink into that dreaded black hole of despair and anger, she took stock of herself and fought tooth and nail to get back physically and mentally to the person she was proud of. She is, without a doubt, awe inspiring.
Maryann Jordan has portrayed Mary and Bert’s disabilities beautifully. With the perfect amount of care, understanding and empathy, but also showing that a disability does not define who you are. It may define what you are capable of, but Maryann shows that behaviour and action changes can compensate for this.
I was so in awe of the portayal of both Bert and Mary. They are both so strong and resilient and it was an honour to have the chance to watch their journey in full technicolour magic. Maryann Jordan at her best!!!! Absolutely amazing read. So beautiful and totally unforgettable.
This is book seven in The Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana series and it is Bert and Mary’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Bert was a navy seal until a IED stole his hearing so now he works for Lighthouse Security as a keeper doing a job that makes him feel worthwhile and then Mary joins the team and he feels a instant attraction to her and everything in his life starts to change. Mary was in a serious car accident when someone drove through a red light which took away her ability to walk so now she is in a wheelchair facing different challenges but when she meets Bert she finds herself instantly drawn to him in a way that is very different for her. Bert and Mary are now working side by side and become really great friends but the attraction, chemistry and connection between them is so strong but neither will make the first move which leaves them in a stalemate situation. Mary decides to go on holiday but while there she meets another lady in a wheelchair and they become friends but something isn’t right and she feels like her friend is in danger she calls Bert and the keepers to get there take on things and that is when Bert joins up with her on her holidays but also to be able to support and keep her safe and protected and that is when things between them gets very interesting and they give in to how they feel but danger is closing in and the puzzle just had even more moving parts to it but will they be able to eventually work out what is going on and eliminate the threat while getting justice for her friend, well only time will tell what the outcome will be in the end. Wow this book was so addictive and kept my attention throughout it also took you on a real rollercoaster ride of situations while having you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next and I couldn’t put this book down and it had me turning the pages with all it’s action. I definitely recommend that you read this book and others by Maryann Jordan who is a amazing author and writer and her books are definitely worth reading and I can’t wait to read more books in the future.
The story of Bert Tomlinson and Mary Smithwick is one that will have the readers at times wanting to cry for them and with them, and at others, cheering at the top of your lungs as the navigate through their future. These two individuals have suffered losses that changed the trajectory of their lives. A former Navy SEAL, Bert’s future as a SEAL ended overseas while trying to protect a woman and her children during a bombing . He lost the hearing out of one ear and could no longer serve in a job he loved. Being hired by Lighthouse Security Investigations in Montana , was his salvation. Mary was working in the military when a truck hit her car and she went from having a normal life to having a partial injury of the spine and confined to a lifetime in a wheelchair. When Mary arrives in Montana to work at the LSI headquarters, Bert knew that this woman would be in his heart forever. But what more than friendship can he offer her? Needing a vacation, she signs up for a cruise in Nova Scotia. Her keen sense of observation makes her realize something is wrong with the nephew of her new on board friend Diane. Bert is sent to go undercover as her fiance and from that moment on, not only does the danger intensifies, it gave these two a chance to deepen their friendship. The author so delicately describes how Bert shows Mary they could have a future if she’s willing to take a chance. Wil they be able to overcome the danger and also discover they could have their HEA? A beautiful quote from the book says it all. “Love wasn’t about finding someone without complications, but about finding someone whose complications you wanted to navigate together”. The author delivers another wonderful story in the series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Oh my, Mary and Berts book is fantastic. Both Mary and Bert have military backgrounds and physical limitations. Bert has a hearing aid due to a blast in Afganastan and can't return to his teams. He does continue working with intelligence analysis helping the teams but it just doesnt seem the same. When Logan opens LSI Montana he needs Bert there. Mary was injured in a car crash and she also had to take a different, not challenging position for the Army. When Logan looks for an Administrative Manager that will be part of the team, Mary is chosen. She loves being part of the team. I really love how both Bert and Mary's backgrounds were built into the story.
As Bert and Mary work together feelings bloom but both are worried about keeping their friendship. After a while Mary, a bit burnt out, goes on a dream cruise vacation to Prince Edward Island. Danger lurks and Mary contacts Bert and the two need to figure out where it's coming from.
This is a wonderful friends to lovers book. Beautifully written and with very melodic cadence! I love all the research that went into this story about different disabilities and the challenges they face. Both Bert and Mary faced their fears and had the strength to move forward as a couple. The team knew before they knew! I highly recommend this fantastic story!
Hang on for the ride Bert and Mary are about to melt your heart! Both these characters suffered life changing injuries that changed the direction of their lives. Mary Smithwick was working for the military when a car accident placed her in a wheelchair, fiercely independent she is determined her disability won't define her and when she arrives at Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana as their logistics guru she thrives. Former Seal Bert Tomlinson has his military carer cut short when a bombing overseas left him partially deaf. His job at LSI Montana is his lifeline. Mary captures his heart from the beginning but he fears he will only ever he able to offer her friendship. Taking a well earned vacation Mary finds herself in the middle something strange and Bert is dispatched to join her posing as her fiancé to help investigate whether something sinister is going on or not. The time spent together gives them a chance to explore if their friendship can turn into something much deeper. Theirs is a slow burn love story, Bert fears losing Mary if he confessing his feelings but how could she not love the protective but caring man he is. Loved their story, an intriguing mystery to solve and two very special characters who understand each other and come to the realisation that the future they want is there they just have to take a chance. Beautifully written and a wonderful story. Thank you.
From their first meet to the present, Bert and Mary have worked together at the Montana LSI behind the scenes making sure every operator has all the tools needed for a mission. Their friendship has grown into a beautiful relationship, Bert always there for Mary whenever she needs him and even moves into a house across the street from her, not wanting to be far. Both are scared to move forward with each other, they don’t want to ruin what they have, best friends during and after work, so when Mary goes on a cruise by herself, the two miss each other instantly. It’s apparent to everyone at LSI they are in love with each other, except to them but when Mary needs help on her vacation, Bert is the one to go on the mission as no one will get to Mary, not on his watch and he is done waiting and playing it safe…Mary is his. A beautiful read as these two are beautiful together, their friendship that grows into more with a solid foundation. Their journey together and all both have been through, their vulnerabilities and not treating the other as incompetent or disabled…loved it. The story flowed without skipping a beat, I loved their beginning to the end and everything in between, twists and turns, surprises, suspense, and their love kept me flipping the pages till I was done.
What a terrific, slow-burn love story! If you’re a LSIMT series reader you know Bert and Mary as the team that keeps the Keeper’s missions going seamlessly. This book tells us how they both came to be with Logan and LSIMT, how they developed feelings for each other and their fears of ruining their special friendship. This story also puts the reader into the life of a young wheelchair-bound woman, Mary, her challenges and her victories, her perseverance and triumphs from before being hired by LSIMT to the end of this lovely book. We also learn about Bert, how he was a SEAL and what caused him to leave the Navy, his challenges and triumphs as well. When Mary takes a well-earned vacation, she gets more than she bargained for. With the help of LSIMT and especially Bert, Mary explores whether she is just imagining a threat to her elderly shipmate or is there truly something nefarious going on. An exciting mystery with just a bit of drama and a beautiful slow- burn love story that captures the readers’ imagination. Beautifully written and meticulously research book, Thank You Maryann! I Received an Advanced Reader Copy from the Author for my honest review of this book.
It would be ideal if we all could have a Bert Tomlinson in our lives. I've said it before but it bears repeating; Maryann Jordan is a master of creating such genuinely likeable and compelling characters that you'll wish you could be friends (or more) with them in real life. His SEAL career was cut short because of a debilitating injury but Bert has found new purpose in his role at LSIMT. Mary Smithwick gets a new lease on life when she joins the LSIMT team. Her disability does not hinder her performance in any way. In fact, she's an integral part of the team who keeps them running on the straight and narrow. The first time Bert sees Mary he feel somthing he's not quite what to do about. They become great friends and neither want to do anything that would break that friendship yet both yearn for more. He's solicitous of her in very way, making her feel anted, beautiful and cherished. When they finally announce their relationship team, who've known all along that they're meant for one another, cheers them on heartily. The addition of three rambunctious felines will have you grinning if not laughing out loud.
This story by Maryann Jordan entices and entralls readers with an amazing heartfelt storyline and characters you fall in love with. This book so deserves more than 5 stars because the characters are so perfectly portrayed you fall in love with them. I have been waiting for Bert and Mary's story for along time and the author had me on the edge of my seat. The slow burn friends to lovers story stole my heart as I felt deeply for the characters but also wanted to slap them to their sense to see what was right in front of them. The in deep dive into the struggle and trials of living with a disability is intense and handled with caring and empathy. The quote that resonated with me "Love wasn’t about finding someone without complications, but about finding someone whose complications you wanted to navigate together”. This is exactly why this story hits so hard because two people who felt they were okay without love proved to be the most loving caring people ever. Their disability did not define them. This is probably my favorite book in this series...but I say thst about them all. Well done I highly recommend.
Bert and Mary were quite the book! This book will tug at your heartstrings and have you rooting for both of them. Bert is a Navy Seal who was injured and continued to serve until he joined LSI Montana. He is definitely a protector! Mary served in the Navy but was involved in a horrible accident and has had to adjust her life goals as she is now in a wheelchair. When she applies at LSI she is excited to get started and settle into her new job and life. As she and Bert slowly begin to work together they both realize their feelings are developing but neither want to change or ruin their friendship. When Mary goes on vacation and a new friend is in danger she calls Bert and the team for advice and backup. When Bert arrives the danger increases can he protect Mary and her friend? There is a slow building relationship, intrigue and suspense. Maryann Jordan this book is well written and addresses challenges and daily life adaptations to having these disabilities. Well researched and presented in an understandable way that enriches the story. You definitely do t want to miss this book. 5+ stars.
There was much backstory to go through, as Mary and Berts story starts off page in the previous books in this series. Now I have to say, no-one writes backstory episodes quite as well as Maryann and this was wonderfully done. I loved the development of Mary and Bert from friends to so much more. Both Mary and Bert have come to LSI Montana after injury had them medically retire from the military. But both have so much to offer and their strength in overcoming the cards they have been dealt. When Mary takes a holiday and becomes suspicious of those around a friend she has made on a river cruise it’s obvious who she will call on for help and Bert is so very quick to be at her side in support and love. As they discover the details of what’s been happening, they grow close and all of their relati0nship just made sense in so many ways. When things cone to a head, there is drama, danger, betrayal and so much more all of it was wonderful to read. And as for the emotions, well they just lit up the pages and learning more about Bert and Mary was an absolute Joy. Thank you Maryann
LSIMT is finally getting a admin, Mary ever efficient in everything she does, medically discharged from the Navy after a tragic accident leaving her partially paralyzed and wheelchair bound, she's learned to overcome and preserve, meeting the keeper s especially Bert, the sparks were instant attraction for both, he's reserved and guarding his heart not wanting to repeat the past mistakes, friend zone it is, learning from each other, about each other, easy comradery and being treated as a equal not wanting her wheelchair to define her and her abilities, semi forced vacation Mary meets another woman in a wheelchair and becomes suspicious of her nephew, calling Bert for another opinion, finally giving into their feelings, sharing their feelings, thoughts, and fears, talking through together what they want, to consolidate their lives together, forever, we've been waiting to see what happens with Bert and Mary, and this story didn't disappoint, what a beautiful exciting love story, it makes you look at love a whole different way, acceptance, I have voluntarily read and review this ARC, I thank you for the privilege, Dana Zamora
Bert and Mary both have experienced broken hearts while healing/dealing with their new realties after injuries. I think they both probably questioned what they could bring to a romantic relationship and threw themselves into work. Bert and Mary worked together and became the best of friends. One of my favorite parts is that they were clearly interested in each other as more than friends and their friends and co-workers were watching them dance around it. The maturity of these characters makes them even more endearing and loveable. Now what makes these two finally admit the way they feel to each other is very interesting part of their story! Mary is such a strong woman and Bert wants to love her and make her life easier because of that love not because she's incapable of doing it herself. I also love that on the cruise Mary meets an older lady that she befriends and has sort of a kinder spirit with. I can't tell you all the things I love about it, but I'd be interested in why you love it once you read it!
After Mary suffered a military career ending vehicle accident that left her partially paralyzed and dependent on a wheel chair, she thought life as she knew it was over. And it was but in its stead was a new life at LSI Montana using all her skills and being appreciated for what she brought to the mission. She had no idea that Bert, the former Navy SEAL worshiped her from afar until her first vacation in years becomes dangerous.
This is a beautiful story of love overcoming obstacles and fear of rejection; learning to work as a team, and finding out that true love does exist. Mary and Bert show the world that a disability is in the eye of the beholder and in reality love can conquer all.
As always this book is so well researched, facts and true, and the book flows along. There is love, mystery and of course the action we’ve all been accustomed to in Ms Jordan’s books. This is another series you never want to end.
Bert Tomlinson finds a new purpose in the mountains of Montana with his former Seal team. LSIMT is a dream job. After two attempts at love and an unexpected injury he is ready for a new start.
Mary Smithwick had a military career and a future she was looking forward to when a debilitating injury took the use of her legs. But she fought her way back and she’s stronger, smarter, and her wheelchair doesn’t define her. Her new job with LSIMT is great and her best friend Bert is the highlight of her day. But she wants more and she’s just afraid to ruin a beautiful friendship.
Mary decides to get away on a river cruise. She uncovers deadly secrets that were never meant to be found and finds herself in danger. She calls in Bert, her new undercover fiancé to investigate. That’s when true feelings emerge. They truly see each for the first time. But the threat escalates. Could they lose each other before they truly begin? "Thank you for writing this story.”
I don't know how she does it but somehow Maryann manages to make every book she writes fresh and fun and better than its predecessors
If you’re a fan of the LSIMT series, you’ve been waiting for this one. It was so rewarding to finally dive into the backstories of the team members who keep the missions running seamlessly.
This book is a masterclass in the "slow-burn" romance trope, perfectly capturing the tension of friends-to-lovers who are terrified of ruining their special bond. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful representation of Mary’s life, her challenges, and her incredible perseverance, as well as the deep dive into Bert’s past as a SEAL.
The story balances the personal growth with a genuine, exciting mystery that kicks off when Mary takes a much-needed vacation. It’s beautifully written, meticulously researched, and an absolute must-read for any fan of the series. Highly recommended!
I love both Bert and Mary, they have both had life-changing obstacles to overcome but have done so with determination, strength and pride. There were sparks from their very first meeting, but both are wary and both have had their trust shattered, so trusting again takes more than bravery...it takes time. Bert may be slow to make his move, but once he does.....he sweeps into your heart with heartfelt lines like "I'd rather be scared with you than safe without you" Their love is beautiful, but better than that is the confidence Mary finds as she helps Diane, she finally feels "earns" her title as a keeper. As Bert points out her skills are different but no less valuable, which is very true, we know the keepers work best as a team utilising each person's strengths and Mary finally sees this. I LOVE all the LSI series and hope we get many more books...or possibly new spin offs too!
Bert was a SEAL who lost hearing in one ear while serving overseas. Mary was in the Navy and was in car accident on base that left her paralyzed. Now they both work for LSIMT and are afraid to take their friendship any further. Bert shows Mary that he is not seeing her disability as a hindrance but that she is more than her disability. He sees her as a person not someone in a wheelchair. When she decides to take a "forced" vacation, they talk daily and when she calls for help, Bert is the first to volunteer to go to her. Can they figure out if she has reason to worry before something happens? Can they keep Diane safe until they can figure things out? Will she be able to fight off her attacker until Bert can find her? Will her attacker get caught before he jumps off the boat and disappears?
I loved reading Bert . It was so worth the wait . The story of Bert and Mary was outstanding . Bert and Mary are the support of Lighthouse Security Investigations Montana . Bert was a Seal team member till his heroic response to a IED he saved a mother and her two children but the IED damaged his hearing in one ear . After leaving the military he works for LSIM as they are starting out they need an administrative manager enters Mary while serving she is paralyzed in a car accident moving back to Montana with recommendations Logan hired her and the slow burn of Bert and Marys friends to do much more begins . When Mary takes a much needed vacation she finds herself headed into danger Bert rushed to her side not willing to lose her. This is such a wonderful suspense romance . The characters are fantastic . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
Bert and Mary’s chemistry is instant, and their friendship becomes so important to each of them that they are afraid to consider anything more serious. Forced to take some time away, Mary stumbles into a situation that troubles her. She calls Bert for his thoughts. He confirms her good instincts, and the rest of the Keepers become involved. Bert goes to help her, and while they are working on the case, they finally address their feelings for each other. I loved the suspense part of this book as there were unexpected twists and turns before the mystery was solved. I also loved how their friendship grew into a love that helped heal Bert’s past hurts and showed Mary her life could still be full. Such a beautiful story!
Bert is a story that’s been building for a while—one we’ve been teased with and eagerly waiting for. It delivers with sweet, tender, and vulnerable moments that truly hit.
At its heart are two strong people, quietly longing and pining, both hesitant to take that leap—until they finally do. Bert and Mary effortlessly steal your heart with a relationship that feels soft, slow, and full of genuine emotion.
Distance and danger push them forward, turning that slow burn into something bright and intense. Together, through teamwork and trust, they find the strength to fight for their lives, leading into an adrenaline-fueled climax.
And there’s no better way to finish than with a beautiful, well-earned HEA.
Wow ! I absolutely loved Bert and Mary’s story. It was important to get their backgrounds and to find out why they had their disabilities and how they adapted to them. I really appreciated how Mary being in a wheelchair was just part of who she was and not the be all and end all , it did not diminish from who she was as a main female character in any way . The research that Maryann must have done absolutely shines through both in the home adaptions necessary and in the settings of the story. It was great to get some more of the early story of the setting up of LSI Montana and really adds to the series as a whole. This is a fabulous story with wonderful characters told with skill and sensitivity. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review.
Maryann Jordan has blessed us with a heartwarming story of perseverance, survival and life changing events. I loved how Bert actively learned how to assist Mary while not interfering with her independence and even learned how to dance with her while she was in a wheelchair. Their friendship at the beginning laid a strong foundation and the other Keepers respect and affection for her gave her the acceptance she needed. In true Jordan fashion there was excitement and intrigue that Bert and Mary had to navigate through which was a total page turner. Ms. Jordan wrote Bert and Mary's disability's with respect and showed us that no matter what life throws at you with perseverance and determination you can do anything you put your mind to.
Oh my goodness what a great book!Iloved it from start to finish!Mary and Bert made such a great couple despite their disabilities, they were both leary about how to proceed with a relationship without hurting their independence.Marys leg paralysis was the worse of the two and Bert was so sweet trying to show her he was interested without overstepping her independence. When the Keepers send her on a much needed vacation,a cruise ,she makes some friends and has some bad feelings that something isn’t right about her new found friend and her nephew. The cruise setting was great for the suspense in the book and I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!Keep em coming Maryann Jordan, love The Keepers!
Bert Tomlinson and Mary Smithwick are two of the LSIMT “Keepers” who have sort of remained in the background of the previous LSI Montana books. Always there to support their teammates and make sure missions run smoothly.
This is the seventh story of the series. In each book we’ve had Mary rolling through scenes in her wheelchair, handling the complexities of multiple missions. Bert has been there from the start making sure his team was equipped with the best when the stakes were high. In this book, we finally get Bert and Mary’s story! And it is definitely worth the wait!
If you are looking for a romantic suspense story with a strong, resilient heroine, this one is for you!! -5 Stars!!-
Bert and Mary! I don't know why I hadn't given much thought to how old Bert and Mary were before this book, but I really hadn't! I guess thus was the book I didn't know I needed. This was a fantastic story,I couldn't put it down. I loved the slow sweet burn of their love. Bert in the other books is just efficient maybe a little gruff, who know he was a teddy bear! I loved the twists and turns in this one, when you get a twist that you don't see coming and you're racing to turn the pages because you just have to know who did what, that's how you know this is a good one. Another great addition to this series! Enjoy!
Bert used to be Navy SEAL until a bomb causes him to lose his hearing. Now he is a Montana Lighthouse Keeper. Mary used to be in the Navy in the logistics, but a car accident causes her to lose the use of her legs. Now uses her skills for the Montana Lighthouse Keepers. Mary and Bert there is an attraction and chemistry them right from the start. Both dance around each other, scared to let the other know how they feel. That is until a cruise that Mary goes on causes Bert to show Mary what she means to him This book has yes drama, but a great romance with wonderful characters. Characters that you want to support, love and give them a little push in the right direction.
Bert and Mary finally! If you've read the series, you know these two been dancing around each other from the beginning practically. We finally get some insight into what has been going on outside the pages of the other books, and these two- aw - but finally they take that leap. And of course danger comes calling as Mary stumbles into nefarious schemes while on vacation - and her first call? Bert of course because it nothing else they have a deep friendship- cough- everyone sees through, and this new adventure with him as a undercover fiance is just the kickstart needed to catapult friendship into the relationship they desire. Of course they save the day as well.
Oh wow, what a wonderful story! I've been waiting for Bert and Mary's story, and it was well worth the wait!
Neither Bert nor Mary thought that love was on the cards for them until that fateful day when Mary went for an interview with LSI Montana. She took one look at Bert, and he took one look at Mary, and they both knew that things were about to change!
Add in a little suspense and an adventure on a cruise ship..... and you have an amazing story with incredible people who have overcome some tough obstacles thrown their way.
