Totally a must-read.
If you knew the situation and circumstances that made me seek out this book then you'll understand how much you need the knowledge contained in this book on leadership. I have been comfortably being a good background motivator for years. I envied leadership positions and persons thinking that they were missing a thing or two in their leadership style. After like 4 years I was promoted into management and given a major section to handle. It was a happy-confusing event.
I had to seek all types of advice from people I can trust, I got a lot of support and recommendations. I followed these all. I must say I learnt a lot from those too. This kind of summarised all I should know and have known. It also pacified me and helped develop my confidence (which it will tell you is very important).
The allegory is priceless. I wish I read this book first, well better late than never. I like the strong and encouraging voice that Daniel uses throughout this book. Not only did he use a soft easy to understand language, he made the write up quite easy to visualize thus aiding comprehension.
This is a five-star bestseller meant for people with a passion for leading right. People who want to understand what their leaders pass through can also read this up. It is truly inspiring.

"Lead on Purpose: Tools for Leadership" is the kind of leadership training book that helps you to define your leadership qualities, helps you to understand your purpose as a leader and allows you to fully immerse yourself in the entertaining tales that help you achieve greatness as a leader. Leadership development can be a tricky subject, skirting the line between common sense and innovative authority, but Daniel Blakeslee does this skillfully, drawing readers into his powerful words as a leadership speaker and as a man who is called to lead in a variety of ways. When I first started this book I was just looking for leader training, but I have to say that this book offered much more than that, delving deeper into the spiritual, practical and philosophic aspects of leadership training as well... providing a well rounded and highly educated look at leader modes that can be achieved. Overall, this was a worthy read that gave me the tools to achieve my own leadership development in a great way.

Lead on Purpose is an intriguing literary work that explores and delivers the sharp cuts of leaders and leadership qualities. The author has penned the fundamental and principal perspective of the role of leadership.

We follow a man named Christopher, who has joined in for a new job. After having a rushed bad first day, he goes around meeting new people around his office.

Throughout the narrative we learn the multifaceted functioning and insights of what is a leader and how leading is impactful. The discussion of the famous "Leader Code" confidently forms the core of the storyline. Establishing a route for leadership tools, this book is a powerhouse of knowledge. Learn about taking the lead, social interactions, upscaling your performance and being ready to take charge of your success, the extensive cultivation and explanations of six leadership styles and more such extraordinary factors. The Bible has also been discussed at a great length and to particularly know what topics, you will need to progress through it.

The more I talk about this book, the more I realise that it is best if a reader opens the book themselves and ventures into it with an open perspective and broadening horizon of learning. The most important and vital thought after reading this book is everyone should read this, cover to cover at least once. Trust me the insights you will gain are unbeatable.

I would highly recommend it.
