Chrestomanci, il misterioso e potente Incantatore, lo sa bene, e accoglie nel suo sontuoso castello i fratelli Chant, Guendalina ed Eric detto Micio, per insegnare loro la vera magia. Non conoscevo questa saga e l'ho recuperato molto volentieri, la Jones si conferma una maga nel creare modi ricchi e immaginifici, personaggi memorabile e divertenti e protagonisti insoliti.
