THE END OF THE GREAT AMERICAN PROJECT is happening right before our eyes, and a total collapse seems inevitable. Having been pitted against each other for decades across racial and religious lines, people see each other as enemies rather than fellow countrymen.

But is it truly too late to find a uniting middle ground and expose the real enemy?

When an ordinary nurse becomes the target of a relentless online hate storm, her quiet life is shattered overnight. But what begins as a personal crisis gradually evolves into a chain of events with implications reaching far beyond her own life.

Will she be able to avert the impending catastrophe?

Adria Carmichael is a writer of Young Adult Dystopian fiction with a twist. When she is not devouring dystopian and post-apocalyptic content in any format - books, movies, TV-series and PlayStation games - she is crafting the epic and highly-addictive Juche saga, her 2020 debut novel series that takes place in the brutal, totalitarian nation of Choson. When the limit of doom and gloom is reached, a 10K run on a sunny day or binging a silly sitcom on a rainy day is her go-to way to unwind.

FAST MOVING and INTENSE! I didn't realize just how intense until I had to loosen up my own muscles after closing up my kindle at the end of a chapter. It was a difficult wait for that next chapter. Alicia gets herself stuck in the middle. And drags her best friend right in there with her.

Alicia thought she was getting the better life by getting out of LA and getting away from whoever trashed her reputation online. But was she really?
Now she had just discovered a hidden military base that everyone in town either lied about or didn't know about. Now what was she supposed to do? (Book 1)

My favorite part of this author's writing is that you get to hear the MC'c inner thoughts out loud. And she formats it differently so it's obvious. So there is no doubt as to what Alicia is thinking before she starts doing.

Call CJ! Will she answer me after all that happened before? She NEEDS to answer me!

But instead of getting just herself into the deep end with Elijah and his big political plan against the administration. What does Elijah have in store for the president, Alicia and CJ? Can Alicia get herself out of this madness?
