Unfortunately, this was a DNF for me. It just never held my attention, and I found myself losing interest as I read

Very clumsily written

Not a bad book &/or start to a series. Even if you don't go on to book 2, it was still enjoyable and ended at a good enough spot. I did find my mind wandering a bit and had a feeling this may be suited more for the YA crowd and thought it would be excellent for boys who enjoy adventure.

I was given an ARC of the new fantasy story and it was enjoyable.

Orphan Xander has to live by his wits to survive and inadvertently stumbles upon a secret...

From the beginning, this tale paints the scenes, draws the characters and shows us magic. These ingredients are mixed into an adventure of mystery and enemies. Magic is outlawed so to keep power for those at the top.

Well-written from various points of view, this was an entertaining and engaging tale. Who will succeed?

A good start to a new series.

Keeper of Fate pulled me in right from the beginning with its mix of magic, mystery, and destiny.
Xander’s journey from a street-smart orphan to someone tied to an ancient prophecy made his character especially compelling.
I loved the tension between the characters, especially with Rosalind and Alessia, which added a great romantic element to the adventure.
The search for the hidden repositories kept the story moving and left me curious about what would happen next.
A captivating start to the Keeper Series I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where Xander’s journey leads.

Gripping!

The end broke my heart. Like I was literally at the edge of my seat! Wow! What a page turner! What a cliffhanger ending. I have so many questions! Brilliant book, really! Well written, bold story of courage against all odds.

Really interested book, it's keep you reading to find out how the story unfolds, the first book is just the beginning of a greater adventure of the characters, you learn who each person, and you need to read the next book on how the adventure carries one

Audible version has some repetition editing needed.
