Lanina
is a poetry collection that invites readers into a space of quiet contemplation and emotional intimacy. Without rushing or demanding attention, this book unfolds gradually, offering moments of stillness that linger long after the page is turned. It’s a work that deserves to be savoured, especially by those who appreciate poetry that whispers rather than shouts.

What makes Lanina noteworthy is its gentle approach to some of the most universal themes: love, loss, healing, and the often unspoken emotions that shape our inner worlds. The poems resist dramatization or forced sentiment, instead embracing a subtle honesty that feels deeply authentic.
One of the collection’s greatest strengths is the way it captures the feeling of private conversation. The poems read as if the poet is sitting quietly beside you, sharing reflections rather than preaching or performing. Images of nature, memory, and human connection are woven throughout, not as answers to life’s questions but as gentle companions in the process of understanding. This creates a comforting atmosphere where silence and waiting are not voids but spaces filled with meaning.
Readers who prefer poetry that feels emotionally grounded and reflective will find Lanina particularly rewarding. Its calm tone and measured pace encourage slow reading and thoughtful pauses, making it a book to return to again and again. While it may not satisfy those seeking dramatic or narrative- driven poetry, it excels as a quiet, steady presence that stays with you long after reading.
In sum, Lanina is a collection that earns its place in the reader’s heart through its stillness and sincerity. It is best enjoyed in moments when one can sit quietly and let the lines resonate. For anyone drawn to poetry that values subtlety over spectacle, this book offers a rare and lasting comfort

Some books aren't loud, they just sit beside you quietly. Lanina was one of them. This book is a collection of beautiful poems that are easy to understand yet have deep meanings.✨

The phrases are gentle, deep, honest and really personal. It's like reading the thoughts you never knew you had. It gives very peaceful and calm vibes.🌸 The author has touched various emotions like love, healing, loss with a vulnerability that we often try to hide.

What makes this book more special is the simplicity. It isn't too dramatic- It's like a companion that will make you want to pause and think. The poems will stay with you long after you have finished! It's like having a silent convo with yourself making you self reflect. Some of the poems felt so painfully relatable that I just wanted to keep it to myself. It's written so well✨

Also this book has beautiful illustrations and designs all over the book. I literally loved all of them. 🤌🏻It looks so beautiful and add more character to the book.💗

Overall if you enjoy poems that feel sincere, emotional and deep- then this one's definitely for you!!

This is hands down one of the best poetry books out there. I’m not exaggerating..I was completely blown away by how beautifully it is written. Every page feels thoughtful and raw, and it captures emotions in a way that is both simple and incredibly powerful. It’s honestly hard to put into words how it made me feel while reading it.

What makes this book even more special is that it’s not just a collection of poems. The beautiful illustrations scattered throughout the pages add another layer to the experience, making the book feel almost like a piece of art you can sit with and reflect on.

The poems explore themes of love, loss, identity, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Some lines make you pause and think, some feel painfully relatable, and others stay with you long after you’ve closed the book. And the best part? You can open it to any random page and you’ll still find something that feels like a masterpiece.

For example, these lines:

“Does it make you smile to know you were right about me all along? And somewhere deep down, does it kill you?”

Lanina by Mithun Prakash is a beautifully written collection of poems that explores emotions we often struggle to express—love, heartbreak, loneliness, and healing.

The writing style is simple, yet it carries a deep emotional weight that makes every poem feel personal and easy to connect with. It feels less like reading a book and more like stepping into quiet thoughts and memories you didn’t realize you had.

This is not a book to rush through. It’s best read slowly, allowing each poem to settle and leave its impact. Some lines bring comfort, while others stay with you long after you’ve finished reading.

Overall, Lanina is a soft, heartfelt, and introspective read—perfect for anyone who enjoys poetry that feels honest, raw, and close to the heart.
