This book started off okay, had an intriguing storyline. But then, instead of peaking, it just fell flat. It also wasn't long enough to flesh out Amalia's storyline with her father. So her father just ran off after years of extortion? It didn't seem realistic. Also, the lack of sympathy on Matthew's part when he found out about the Amalia's father and how he was blackmailing his daughter for drug money...was a complete turn off from me. Matt's response seemed word for word what a Republican would say. Instead of sympathy, he judged Amalia for her choices. Even worse, he had once been in a similar position to her. He could have gave her advice, instead he took a holier than thou position. Asshole. Amalia deserved better. I didn't like the ending, it just felt rushed and wrapped up too nicely.

Cute story

Not to bad of a story except to me the ending was a little rushed. But the characters were good. Even though Meliah was a little weak (I hate weak women) But to bad for 1st time out the gate
