Quinn wakes up in a hospital room not knowing where she is or how she got there. If you like time travel, and the mystery of how it all works you will enjoy this first novel by Marie Evergreen. This falls squarely in the YA fiction category and I will let my tween read this as well. Quinn jumps, or travels to different times and meets many different interesting historical characters. Check it out! :)

This book was amazing it has a lot to do with the Romanov dynasty witch I was so excited fire, and another one of my absolute favorite things being Al Capone. Also,Jesse James and all of the absolute tragedies they endured. The first chapter is hard to understand but re-read it and stick with it it will amaze you just how great and amazing it is.This book was referred to my by a recent aqaintance who ended up being the books author she is amazing too and said books 3 and 4 will not disappoint. So no doubt about it I'm super excited the next books and looking forward to all that follow. But getting back to the book history plays a major part in this book but in an exciting way so if you read this please give it a shot and you will not be disappointed.

Quinn by Marie Evergreen is a fascinating and fast moving time travel tale. This novel opens with a hefty dose of mystery and intrigue. The main character Quinn wakes up in some sort of hospital, her memory is hazy and she can’t remember how she got there or why. She does know one thing for certain, she’s in trouble—someone is pursuing her. She goes on the road, hitchhiking her way south and meets Samantha, a woman who quickly becomes her friend. As I read I soon discovered that things are never quite as they first seem, least of all Quinn. Quinn can travel through time. From this point the story takes us to even more exciting and unexpected places, the first being Russia a few years before the “February Revolution” and the fall of the Rominov Dynasty. What follows for Quinn is many challenges both emotional and physical as she ‘Travels’ from one perilous situation to the next, both in the modern day and through the past, uncovering clues about those pursuing her and also about her own life. This was a fast, exciting read—very hard to put down. The main character, Quinn’s warm personality was endearing, as was her bravery in the face of some pretty desperate situations. This was a lovely escape from the heavier, darker fiction that I have been reading lately. The author’s work holds a gentleness, lightness and positivity that is refreshing. I highly recommend for young adults, and yeah, everyone else too.
