PCS. Three letters that seemingly doom relationships for a military kid. Permanent change of station. Moving hundreds, even thousands, of miles away. Some kids take it better than others, and some kids fall apart completely.
It's junior year. The infamous year of high school that leaves students anxious about grades, friends, and (perhaps) love. Meet Violet and Jason, two teenagers destined to be together. Their school year is seemingly perfect (despite some mishaps and misunderstandings), but how will they handle it when Jason receives earth-shattering news?
Sara B. Ruhl lives in Eastern North Carolina with her husband, Tobias, and two children, Wesley and Claire. She graduated from the University of North Carolina-Asheville in 2006, earning a BA in History and a license to teach. In 2010, she graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Library Science degree. She has taught since 2006, presently serving as a high school English teacher at a public high school on a military installation. When she's not reading, she loves watching soccer, playing video games with her family, and visiting the Outer Banks.
