I was very surprised by the average rating on this one. The content is useful as an introduction to the basics of CRO and had one or two nuggets for me even though I’ve been doing CRO for a few years.
That being said, it’s a lazily written extended blog post, not a book.
If you’re looking to get in to conversion optimization this is a great initial read. When you’re done you’ll have a list of the next resources you should be reading along with a specific process to start your conversion optimization work with.
This is a no-nonsense guide that tosses aside your ‘hunches’ in favour of testing and proving things right. When your tests turn out ‘bad’ as many will just revisit the hypothesis and run another test.
