A TRAGIC MIRACLE is a very fitting story with all that going on in the world today. It examines the life-there-after of a survivor and the dilemma that no woman wants to face, and gives you an intimate look into the heart and mind of a young woman who must make this choice.

The story drew me in from the first few pages and held my interest throughout. The character development is great. Author Mindy Mather weaves emotions in with dialog and action. She had me rooting for Lacey from the get go. I felt like I was standing beside her, wanting to help her and give her advice.

With all great literature, from beginning to end you are brought around, and sometimes you end up in a place you didn't think you were going. A TRAGIC MIRACLE has a resounding ending that both satisfies and mystifies.

What seems to start out as an energetic coming-of-age tale develops into an absorbing and complex drama as the lives of Lacey, Dwayne, Karissa and the other characters weave around each other! Found it very hard to put down - a great read! Looking forward to more by the same author.

This book truly stayed with me long after I turned the last page. It is one of those stories that does not just describe emotions, it makes you feel them deeply. Lacey’s journey felt real and honest, especially the way the story explores love, self worth, and the courage it takes to set boundaries.

The writing is beautiful without feeling heavy. Every emotion comes across as raw and genuine, and the characters feel like real people you cannot help but care about. There were moments that made my heart ache and others that quietly gave me hope.

I truly appreciate the author for creating something so powerful and emotionally grounded. This is more than just a romance. It is a story about growth, strength, and finding yourself. A well deserved five stars.

So at first I was leary of how this book would handle the main premise...its a rough topic and children resulting from that topic are often looked at as less than and disposable. The author did a great job showing us that lacey was struggling hard after the incident...that she thought about termination, even wanted her body to do it for her and to take the decision from her...but she didn't and it didn't...she decided on adoption because that child was a person and deserved life. Did lacey make all the right choices? Definitely not...getting married and not being honest about something that I feel like would just be said naturally was a bit strange...but it works for this story and the girl was traumatized. In the end she survives...she fights everyday for normality and survives and a life with situations and side effects from what happened to her that continue to come at her...to me that is strength. I think for most people who want a dramatic yet very real and emotional read and can handle this topic then you will like this book.
