I'm the author of the webcomic Dinosaur Comics (that's the comic where the pictures don't change but the words do, it's better than it sounds and I've also done crazy things like turn Shakespeare into a choose-your-own-path adventure, write a comic for Marvel about a girl with all the powers of a squirrel, or mess up walking my dog so badly it made the news.

A good quick read. A fast paced non stop action book. Simple story and okay to good artwork.

Provoking the Hulk is not a good idea. However how mad can the Hulk get? This book show how powerful the Hulk is, how hard he is to kill, how mad he can get and will smash everything!!

The Hulk doing what he single mindedly does. Survive and smash. Sometimes the simple stories are the best. Having the Hulk true to his core is great. The book finishes with a variant cover gallery.

After Hulk's various recent dalliances with Hell, death and anti-corporatism in his main book, you could mistake this miniseries for something headed back to Bruce Banner basics. Well, sort of – but it's written by Ryan North, who's congenitally incapable of not thinking both big and sideways. So when the Hulk gets sent back to the Cretaceous, you think, oh, he's going to smash some dinosaurs, fine. But not just that, because turns out his arrival is timed just right for a smash-off with the incoming asteroid. And that's where it starts, with the.stakes somehow escalating from there. Utterly ridiculous in the best possible way, even to the surprisingly wholesome ending that nevertheless feels like it fits.

This series was better than it had any right to be. It captured the original impetus for the Hulk in a fun, exciting, yet thoughtful way. Worth your time and money.

A fun, playful Hulk story, "Hulk Smash: Everything" is a non-stop ride of action sequences, beautiful imagery and an intensity that never lets up . There isn't a deep rooted story or a drawn out plot in this one, but rather a story that focuses solely on Hulk, his unbridled rage and how his rage makes him a victim of his own circumstances. Hulk's rage and strength is the driving force in the story and we see Hulk take on many fun and crazy forces, even the galaxy itself!

The story is simple, Bruce Banner is the victim of a sinister plan by 'The Leader' (Samuel Sterns). Sterns manipulates Hulk's honest ferocity to do his bidding and ultimately to try and destroy Hulk. This sends Hulk back in time to the prehistoric age, across space and time itself, and into super-massive blackholes! Despite an unconceivable amount of force trying to destroy Hulk, Hulk's unending rage continues to push him to defeat Sterns.

Whilst this Hulk story lacks a complex plot, the sheer exuberance of him battling colossal, cosmic forces more than makes up for it. The whole page and double paged illustrations are the shining star in this story, and are an absolute joy to look at. The colours beam off the page and really add to the fun lively atmosphere that is "Hulk: Smash Everything".

This Hulk Tale is a colourful blast to read through and made a change from the more serious nature found in most other graphic novels.


The illustrations in this comic are top tier.

“Hulk Smash Everything.” Yeah, he does. Due to a truly stoopid inciting event, Hulk is PISSED and everyone and everything is gonna feel his wrath. Dinosaurs, a supermassive black hole, the entire planet Earth, time; no one and nothing is safe from his fists of fury. The exact limits of Hulk’s strength have always been a hot topic of discussion amongst fanboys and Ryan North’s insane series has taken that debate to its extremes. Every bonkers thing he writes, Vincenzo Carratù quite capably illustrates, making for a breezy but very entertaining comic. This isn’t Literature so I’m not gonna pick it apart. The point of “Hulk Smash Everything” is to marvel at the Jade Giant’s brute strength and I did. Lots of fun. Needs a sequel.

Hulk smash Strange doctor. Hulk smash dinosaur. Hulk smash history. Hulk smash black hole. Hulk smash Galactus. Hulk smash Earth. In short, Hulk smash everything!
Not a Hulk fan, but I like Ryan North (who snuck in a brief Squirrel-girl appearance). A few hidden jokes.
A quick read, but very entertaining. Four stars.

Una pequeña gran tontuna consistente en llevar hasta sus ultimísimas consecuencias una simple «catch phrase», en este caso, el eterno lema del Coloso Esmeralda: "Hulk is the stronger there is!" Así, North lo lleva a pelearse con cosas extraordinariamente absurdas, como el meteorito que se cargó a los dinosaurios o un agujero negro. Y con Galactus. Y con toda la existencia, básicamente. A ver, no negaré que la histroria sea entretenida, pero Ryan, se te ha ido un poco, ¿no? En fin, lo dicho: un tebeo tontísimo pero divertido, y, ¡qué demonios! ¡Solo son cómics!

Hulk gets mad and Just. Keeps. Smashing. He travels through time, space, and the Earth, doing untold damage while the narrator explains everything. I feel like that could have been a great high concept for nerdy 8 year olds who want to read about anger and learn cosmology at the same time, but this added too many big words and turned into a fairly dull story for adults instead. The last issue, which features other heroes coming in to set things right, feels more like one of Ryan North's Fantastic Four stories. The rest feels a little too simple and idea-light.
