Safe Computing

Rate this book
There is a great under-served audience of people who have been left behind in the technological revolution. Often, but not always, these are senior citizens who have just found computers intimidating. Perhaps they use Facebook, or email, but just barely.
This book provides simple explanations of things that unsophisticated users need to know. Really basic things, such as how to change a password, how to select simple passwords one could actually remember, and to explain elements of computers and the web in simple, non-technical ways for those who found even the popular “dummies” books difficult.
If you are already a techno-weenie looking for information on the latest in computing, this is not the place. On the other hand, perhaps your mother, or even your grandmother might find this book helpful.
