Kiora thought she had never heard a lie until she was sixteen. But she was wrong. Her entire existence was based on nothing but. She thought that evil did not exist. Lie. That magic was not real. Lie. And that the land of Meros was all there was. One more lie.
With Aleric telling her that evil is knocking on the door and that she is the only one who can stop them she has a choice to make. Refuse, or start the wildest most painful ride of her life.
She reluctantly dips her toe into her new existence of magic and threads, dragons and shapeshifters, and the person who wants to take control of it all: the evil Dralazar.
However, this journey was never meant to be hers alone. She will be accompanied by a Protector. To her disbelief, and utter irritation they name the hotheaded, stubborn, non-magical, (albeit gorgeous) Prince Emane. They will have to trust each other with their lives, but right now Kiora would settle for a non hostile conversation.
And now it comes down to this, If you had never heard a lie, would you know when you heard one? Is knowing good from evil innate? Kiora finds herself having to decide who lives and who dies on those very questions.
The Solus Series is for fans of epic fantasy, dragons, magic, romance, and adventure.

I really liked these books. They kept me on my toes wondering what would happen next. There were something's I wish would have been different but good read.
I do not usually write reviews, but this book was hard to put down. I usually will read a few books and get bored. Both of the male characters are likable and made me laugh. The heroine was strong but at the same time not perfect.
Couldn’t put it down! I was hooked right away with the premise. If you like this type of story line (fantasy) it an excellent read. However there were places in the last 2 books where references were made to the wrong people which got confusing at times.
Good vs evil. A bit of tame romance. A completely different world full of magic and different magical creatures. A great, light escape from reality. I read this while recovering from an illness and it was perfect for that time.
I am so glad I got the whole set, I don't think I could of waited if I had just got the first book in this series. Loved this wonderful journey that Kiora, Emane and Alcander embark on. Magical creatures galore!! I laughed, sighed and giggled throughout. And then the author made me cry!! Dam it!!! I yelled at my kindle following my breakdown. This series is so well written that it pulls you in so you feel apart of the story. I would recommend this series to anyone who wants to feel the story come to life.! And after the ending I don't think I can stay mad at the author for that, YOU KNOW WHICH PART. Awesome
I laughed and cried but couldn't stop reading. Just a wonderful story. Would highly recommend these books. You will be rooting for these characters from the very beginning.
Amazing and wonderful; dragons, shapeshifters, magic, love! Half the time I was laughing or crying I'm in such aw of these books!! I really didn't want it to end! A must read for sure!!
