Annie Campbell has made a good life for her and her young son in the mountain town of Tidal Falls. She's dating the sheriff, owns a successful business, and has the support of the community. So why isn't it quite enough? Jared Martin left Tidal Falls a hotheaded youth, and now, after eight years in the military, he returns a bitter, disillusioned man. Then he finds out he's a father. When an old enemy follows and causes mayhem in the small town, can Jared overcome the odds to protect the woman he's always loved and the child he never knew, or will it be too late?
Jacquie Biggar is an award-winning USA Today bestselling author of romance who loves to write about tough, alpha males and strong, contemporary women willing to show their men that true power comes from love. She lives on Vancouver Island with her husband and loves to hear from readers all over the world! In her own words: “My name is Jacquie Biggar. When I'm not acting like a total klutz, I am a wife, mother of one, grandmother, and a butler to my calico cat. My guilty pleasures are reality tv shows like Amazing Race and The Voice. I can be found every Monday night in my armchair plastered to the television laughing at the judge's shenanigans. I love to hang at the beach with DH (darling hubby) taking pictures or reading romance novels (what else?). I have a slight Tim Hortons obsession, enjoy gardening, everything pink, and talking to my friends.”
THE REBEL’S REDEMPTION (Wounded Hearts, #2) by Jacquie Biggar had me reading this romantic suspense well past my bedtime. The characters are so well written they could walk right off the page!
In this second book, Annie Campbell, who has always just wanted a safe, secure and predictable life with her small son in her home town of Tidal Falls has her world turned upside down. Emotionally she has to face the sudden return of the boy, now a man, she has always loved. She has to overcome the hurt he caused when he left and reveal an eight year old secret.
Jared Martin left Tidal Falls to join the Navy and then the SEALs after high school and never looked back. The men on his team became his family, but when he returns stateside, he has trouble dealing with civilian life. He returns home when an old teammate needs him, but past trouble follows and threatens the girl he has always loved and her son, which he discovers is his.
This book has two plots intertwined. A well written romantic suspense between Jared and Annie and the overall series thriller plot involving all the exSEALs. The plots flow seamlessly and move at a fast pace with many twists towards the climax. The romance in this book is happily resolved, but the overall thriller arc is left on a cliffhanger.
This is a great addition to the series. The characters, good and bad, are all written as complex three dimensional people. I feel if I could visit Tidal Falls, I would find all of these characters walking around. You feel like these characters are friends and you know them all and their back stories and yet there is no overload or dump of information at any time in the flow of the story. I can’t wait to follow them all in to book three!

Annie and Jared crossed the lines of friendship as teens, when the sun rose the next day, he was gone, leaving Annie alone, broken-hearted and unknowingly pregnant. Eight years later, Annie is a secure, happy mother, a successful business woman and in her most secret heart of hearts, she is still in love with Jared, and now he has returned. No longer the young man on a mission to live life, he is a sadder and wiser man who has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of life and the one of those uglies is after him with a vengeance and all targets are fair game. With imminent danger all around, has he the right to profess his love and ask for forgiveness or will his love make Annie and their son pawns to be bartered with?
Meanwhile, an undercover agent is outed, alone and armed only with her wits as a human trafficking ring holds innocents captive, will her partner be able to save her?
The Rebel’s Redemption by Jacquie Biggar is equal parts romantic entanglements, intrigue and suspense as we are taken to the quaint town of Tidal Falls, where evil shouldn’t be able to touch its citizens. Sharing POVs between characters opens up so much room for emotional connections with these players and rounds out this tale so well, it feels as if the events are happening, the town is real and the actions are not the machinations of a gifted author. Ms. Biggar has paced each scene and revealed each layer at practiced ease as love, hate and the need for redemption of the heart and soul make for a powerfully engaging read, no matter the season.
If you are a fan of military romance, high intrigue and multiple layers of plot twists, you won’t find a dull moment between these pages. Not too dark, not too fluffy, a touch of hearts and flowers moments with a little grit to go around, The Rebel’s Redemption is a wonderful way to escape for a few hours.
I received this copy from Jacquie Biggar in exchange for my honest review.

Second chances and forgiveness are two main themes to the books I have read over the last few weeks. We all need forgiveness but what happens when the one person you love more than life itself walks out of your life and you hear nothing from them for eight years? Then one day, that person returns.
This is exactly the premise of The Rebel’s Redemption. Annie loved Jared and thought they would be together forever. He ran off to join the Navy Seals and Annie was left wondering what happened. Eight years later, he returns and she has to come to grips with her aching heart.
Jared is a tortured soul, mired with regret, and the last thing he needed was to reignite his relationship with Annie. But circumstances have changed and he must come to grips with the cold hard truth.
An enemy of Jared’s come to town, seeking revenge and all hell breaks loose. Suddenly, Annie and Jared must work together to defeat this dangerous enemy. Can they do it before it’s too late?
I’m a sucker for romantic suspense and this book doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s one of the best romantic suspense novels I have read in a long time. The author grabs you by the throat and doesn’t let go until the final page. The action is pulse-pounding and I read it in one sitting. The relationship between Annie and Jared wasn’t choppy, like I have seen in other books. Sure, there is betrayal and hurt feelings but the author created such energy between Annie and Jared that it flowed really well.
What sealed the deal for me on giving it a five star rating was the complexity of the characters. Each character had its own back-story and they felt so real to me. I caught myself nodding along whenever the dialogue made logical sense. I was completely absorbed in the story and that’s rare for me as a reader these days.
This is book two in a series but it also reads as a stand-alone. I, myself, am going to read book one and wait patiently as the author writes book three.
If you love a good story and want to be taken away on a suspenseful journey, pick up this book immediately!
Favorite Character:
Ugh, do I have to pick just one? There are so many that I love! Okay okay, if I had to pick just one I’d pick Annie. Annie is one strong woman and in the end she follows her heart to save those she loves. I love her insecurities and how real she is. She and I would be best friends for sure.
Though I didn't read Tidal Falls, book one in this Wounded Hearts series, this book was a good read. It wasn't my absolute favorite as I felt I could have enjoyed it a little more had I read book one. The characters captured my heart and fit well with the plot line.
Ms. Biggar created Annie in a unique way. I love that she created her with a secret from Jared: their son. The ups and downs of feelings when Jared returned to Annie's life was instantly felt by me. I loved feeling like I was Annie and the attraction I felt for Jared when he entered the picture...well, let's just say that I have a thing for SEALS!
Jared's character was awesome. I loved him from the start. Coming home from the war, only to find out about a life changing situation, and having to deal with a rising issue in the small town, really made him a sexy character in my eyes! Every page turn drew me closer and closer to Jared.
Over all, Ms. Biggar created a story that I would go back and read again. I am hoping to go back and read Tidal Falls soon as I wasn't quite ready to leave the town just yet. This book is a story filled with hope of second chances, laughter, twists, turns and romance. Well done and hats and off to Ms. Biggar for an enjoyable read!
The Wounded Hearts series follows the post-war lives of a Seal Team as they transition to civilian life. So far, each book I’ve read features one of the team members, and as thriller-romance mash-ups, the action in their lives hasn’t quite fallen off as other opportunities arise.
This book focuses on Jared, the team’s electronics guy, and Annie, the woman he abandoned 8 years ago when he went to war. They have a stormy past, an intense attraction, and a surprise for him in the form of a seven-year-old son. When the boy is kidnapped, they can’t help but join forces, and the sparks fly.
A second plotline weaves through the book. This one involves the capture of Maggie, a DEA agent working undercover to investigate a sex-trafficking ring. Her partner, Adam, has no idea where she is. This plot thread doesn’t resolve by the end, and it makes a great case for reading on in the series.
Of course, there’s romance between Jared and Annie. I didn’t quite believe they would take time for romance with their child kidnapped and in mortal danger. They had their frantic moments, bouts of anger and tears, and opportunities to comfort each other, but for me, some of the romantic interludes robbed the story of a sense of desperation.
The thriller elements of the book are spot on. Characterization is excellent, the action fast-paced, and the stakes high. The story is told from third-person multiple viewpoints, and the perspectives worked well. I enjoyed that the narrative touched briefly on many of the characters I met in Book 1. And I appreciated the relationships among the group of men, especially their ongoing brotherhood and concern for each other.
I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in Book 3. Highly recommended for fans of romance/thriller mash-ups, and series readers who enjoy male friendships among a band of brothers.
I read and enjoyed the first book, “Tidal Falls,” where Annie and Jared caught my attention as secondary characters. Jared finally comes home for good after making some mistakes since leaving the SEALS. He reconnects with his mother and runs into his ex-best friend, Annie, or the woman he had a one-night stand with before leaving to join the service the next day. Jared had made many missteps in his past, but seeing Annie and her son brought back old feelings and guilt. But this reunion doesn’t go smoothly. His past is chasing him, putting those he loves in danger. There was a side plot with Maggie, a DEA agent, who was also introduced to in the first book. This part had me on the edge of my seat with the dangerous situation she was in. Not only is there a romance trying to rekindle between Annie and Jared with someone wanting revenge, but Maggie is trying to survive. This page-turner left one question answered, and another that needs to be explored in future books. If you like a good romantic thriller, this is for you!
This is my first time reading a book by this author and I’m so glad I decided to give this one a try. I love books that deal with second chance loves, a secret child and of course anything military. Ms. Biggar writes a love story that is so much more than just the romance. There is human trafficking, the Drug Cartel, a Russian Las Vegas mob out for revenge, a tortured soul and regrets. The story is told not only in the two main character POV’s but also other characters which for me added more to the plot of the story. Is it possible to forgive the love of your life for walking away from you for 8 long years then to see that vey person standing right in front you one and you realize your feelings have not changed?
The Rebels Redemption is filled with romance, suspense, danger and mystery. It had me feeling a slew of emotions stemming from fear to happiness, rage to confusion a result of me biting my nails. Both the main characters in the story, Jared and Annie, are complex characters. Their stories, thoughts and love are all consuming and captivating. Annie has always loved Jared, when he finally sees her as more than his best friend, she thought she would get her happily ever after. Unfortunately, the morning after she gave herself to Jared, he ran off and joined the US Navy Seals. She never heard from him and was forced to raise her child by herself always wondering what happened. Annie has made a good life for herself and her child. She owns her own business, has wonderful friends and is a wonderful mother, but even while dating the sheriff there is something missing from her life. Just as she starts to get comfortable dating Jack, Jared comes back to Tidal Falls.
Jared’s character is one that is complex, difficult but he is also tender, caring and protective. He is full of regrets. His biggest one is Annie. When he comes face to face with the woman he’s always loved and a little boy that looks just like him, he decides he is staying in Tidal Falls and is going to make some changes in his life. Jared does not care that Annie is dating Jack, even when he sees them together he gets the urge to get Annie away from him. He blames himself for walking away 8 years ago but he is willing to make things right, unfortunately and old enemy comes to town and is hell bent on take everything and everyone that means anything to Jared away. Jared is not willing to let anyone hurt Annie, his son and his mother without of fight. With the help of the local sheriff and his SEALS buddies Jared will go to war against his enemy and will stop at nothing to eliminate the threat.
This story did not disappoint, not only does the author gives readers a beautiful and natural love story that surpassed years but she also adds suspense to keep readers on their toes. I was engrossed with the characters and their story and I was also enthralled by the danger and human trafficking angle added in. Things are not easy for Jared and Annie, both characters are not able to fully trust each other, both feel betrayed and it is hard to overcome the pain of the past. I felt the love they shared for one another as well as their inner turmoil. The authors wrote the character in a way that I felt connected to them and I understood where both Annie and Jared were coming from. Can Jared protect his family from the person seeking revenge? Will Jared able to make amends for his past mistake or will it be too late? Will Annie find the answers to the questions that have lingered over the years? Can Jared and Annie finally have their HEA?
This is book 2 in the Wounded Hearts series and it doesn't disappoint. Jared and Annie have a past; long time friends and a one night love affair. Jared took off to join the Nave SEALS the day after their union and 9 months later Annie delivered her son Chris.
Now 8 years later, Jared is back and learns he has a son and is still in love with Annie. Jared doesn't want to ruin her life however. But then trouble follows Jared to town and endangers the boy. Can they work together for the sake of their son? Will they work out as a couple as well? 2 Thumbs Up for a great book.
The Rebel's Redemption, and the Wounded Hearts series, has everything necessary to captivate (hot military men) and comfort (a small-town setting filled with everyday heroes and heroines). After reading book 1 in this series, I was eager to read Jared's story. Loved this bad-boy hero in need of redemption and the spunky small-town girl who challenges him to be worthy of the family he left behind. More than ever I’m looking forward to reading Adam and Frank's stories. But the fun won’t stop there because Ms. Biggar has captivated me with 2 new imperfect but oh-so likable heroes, Ty & Jack Garrett.
received Rebel's Redemption as a beta review, WOW,this was really well written. Couldn't put it down till the end and was still wanting more, can hardly wait for more in this series. Good going Jacquie.
Enjoyed the book and the series. Jared had one night with Annie before he ran off. Eight years later he returns. Annie valued her friendship with Jared even though she wanted more. Then one night it happened then he was gone leaving her pregnant. Plenty of action, suspense and romance.
"The Rebel's Redemption" (Wounded Hearts book 2) by Jaquie Biggar
Tidal Falls, Washington has become the hotspot for local and federal action. A few months ago it was Sara's estranged gun and drug running husband. Now an individual from the Russian mafia is out for revenge against Jared.
In "Tidal Falls," we are a introduced to Jared after he gets beat up by a member of the Russian mafia for counting cards in his casino. In return, Jared sets it up so that the sprinklers and fire alarm go off at the same time all the slot machines let loose their winnings. A major financial loss to the casino and a major embarrassment to the Russian.
Jared has returned home to Tidal Falls again. This time he says he is staying for good despite his past history. (Slightly more insight is provided as to why he left so quickly and his love and hate of small towns. But he has yet to have that talk with his mom and to truly come to an understanding.)
The reader quickly clues into who the person was Annie fell in love with so many years ago. Her best friend from high school: Jared.
While out walking Jake (the dog), Jessica and Chris come see the dog. Jessica is very attached to him. During this time while she is giving Jake a ton of attention, Jarod sees Chris and begins to put a few things together and realizes that he has a son.
And to top things off, while at the diner his mother owns, he sees the woman he has never been able to keep from his mind for the past 8 years: Annie.
A lot of pieces to put into place for one man in a short period of time. But they will have to wait...The Russian has come to exact revenge from Jared for his stunt in Las Vegas. And Barnikov's first stop to pass along the message: Annie and her craft store.
Despite several major subplots running through this novel, the main story is fast moving, very thorough and leaves nothing out. The subplots sometimes weave in and other times stay as subplots, and did well in that role.
Once again her characters tell a lot of the story through their behavior and actions.
When Barnikov takes Jessica and Chris and runs, it takes Jack and Jarod's SEAL team friends to put together a general area search. But it isn't until Annie tells everyone about her dream, and deal site everyone's resistance of using it, to begin to put another piece of the puzzle into place and find where Barnikov and the children are.
Things move quickly and chaotically after that until Adam makes the tough decision to kill Barnikov. As a sniper his shot his him dead on and saves Annie's life. At the same time, Adam realizes that in making that decision, he no longer would be able to interrogate him to help find his missing partner, Maggie. While he picks up and starts to leave, he gets a phone call from Frank, his SEAL CO, who has found something of interest...connected to Maggie.
Things end well, for the most part. Chris settles in well with knowing Jarod is his father and Grace his grandmother. Jarod and Annie are ready to move forward with their lives and to make up for lost time.
There are still some unanswered questions...and a separate situation still to unfold around Maggie. I look forward to more fun and excitement in the next book in the "Wounded Hearts" series.
The Rebel's Redemption was a fast paced second chance romance with a lively mix of suspense. Former SEAL Jared is back in his hometown, where he sees Annie for the first time since he left eight years ago. Annie has never forgotten Jared, and no man has ever quite measured up to him.
The feelings they still have for each other are still strong, but Annie is sure they are not meant to be together. She has a big secret, and Jared has trouble following him. Annie knows she can't keep her secret forever...but is it really as big a secret as she thinks? Even if Annie can't be his, Jared is determined to do what he needs to do to protect Annie. Even in crisis they unwittingly turn to each other. The connection is still there, but is it enough for a second chance at love together?
Annie and Jared have a history together and there are a lot of undercurrents in the plot that would probably be easier to understand if you read the first book in this series before The Rebel's Redemption. I didn't, and at times I felt like I was missing out on a lot of the background that would have made me understand this couple better. Not only together, but separately. Annie and Jared are strong main characters though, and their past has brought them to where they are today. I didn't really understand Annie's reasoning for her secrecy, but I liked how she knew she had to deal with it. I loved her personality, her independence, and that she really thought about things. Jared was interesting and little more vague for me. He wasn't your typical former SEAL in The Rebel's Redemption, and he seemed to have a lot of layers and secrets of his own lurking. I did like how he was with Annie. There are bumps and old hurts to struggle through before they can move on to the future, but I found myself hoping they could find a way to do this. I felt that this second chance romance was believable, and these characters were realistic.
I really liked the secondary characters in The Rebel's Redemption, especially Jack (the sheriff Annie is dating). I liked that the characters were mature and there is a refreshing lack of angst, even when some things don't work out.
The suspenseful part of the plot is secondary to Annie and Jack's relationship, but adds a lot of zest and dimension to The Rebel's Redemption. The Rebel's Redemption is a complex, yet at the same time easy to follow story that flows smoothly. I just would have liked more background, but as I said this might have been covered in the first book in this series.
With a lot of feeling and emotional up and downs, The Rebel's Redemption is a book I'd recommend to romance readers who like the edge of suspense.
Annie and Jared were an item, a night to remember, and next day he left to become a Seal. Now home saying for good, he needs the support of his mother and friends, to become himself again. Then there was a boy Chris, with Annie at the diner, he had a son, Healing came for many when it was finally told, and they became a family. Nice love story of second chances.
#2 in the "Wounded Hearts" series, but can be read as a stand alone. A fast paced tale of second chances, forgiveness, human trafficking, the Drug Cartel, small town of Tidal Falls, Washington. Jared Martin, a Navy SEAL has a tortured soul, past regrets, secrets and an enemy out for revenge. Anna Campbell owns a small business in Tidal Falls, has a past with Jared, a eight year old child and his dating the sheriff. All hell breaks loose when Jared returns to Tidal Falls, in more ways than one. Fast paced Romantic Suspense/Mystery. Filled with emotional turmoil, emotional baggage, passion and romance. The characters have a complexity rarely found in a story, each telling the story from their point of view. This is a complex, compelling, and emotional story with a topic ripped out of today's headlines, revenge, forgiveness, human trafficking, narcotics, mixed with a bit of mystery, suspense and romance. This story is NOT just another Romantic Suspense, it is so much more. This was my first time reading this author and I thoroughly enjoyed "The Rebel's Redemption". I look forward to the next installment of "Wounded Hearts". Enjoyable and a satisfying read!

The Rebel's Redemption is the second book in the Wounded Hearts series. I haven't read the first. While this book can be read as a standalone, I felt like I was missing a lot of backstory and would recommend reading book 1 first.
Jared, a Navy Seal, comes back home to his small town and discovers he’s a father and the mother of his child, Annie Campbell, wants nothing to do with him. Needless to say, Annie and Jared have a history. They have been friends for a long time. After one night of passion, Jared joins the navy and leaves Annie without a word.
After he returns they realize the passion is still there, and there is a child binding them together. Can they patch things up or are things past saving?
I loved the small town feel of this book. All the characters were well developed, and of course they knew each other's business. The setting was well done, and I felt like I was a member of the community. This book is supposed to be a Suspense novel. However, that aspect of the book was a lot smaller than I expected. Yes, I know Romantic Suspense comes in many mixtures, but I wanted more suspense. The ending was predicable, but the good writing helped make up for that. The plot was solid, and I'm considering reading the first book in the series.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This being the second book in the series although it can be read as a standalone, I really recommend reading them in order. I kinda felt like I was a little lost since Jake and Annie had been introduced in Nick and Sara's books therefore I didn't know exactly what led to Jared being back in town. All that being said I did really like this one. Annie and Jared have a history. They love each other but didn't really know how the other felt other than the fact that they were best friends until Jared up and leaves to join the Navy. Now 8 years later, he is back and has a whole lot to make up for. Annie was a very real character to me. I did have a few issues with how she and Jared both acted in the midst of a crisis but going into details will give things away so I will leave it at. Although I will also say, that without ever being in their situation who knows how I would react. I am hopeful that the author will give us future books with a few of the secondary characters, Maggie, Adam, Frank and Jack. I so can't wait for Jack to get a story. This was a pretty quick read and I did enjoy it. This was a solid 4 stars for me. A copy was given in exchange for an honest review.
Jared Martin is the class clown, the guy who makes the SEAL team laugh, the guy who hides his personal anguish behind a happy go lucky façade. Trying to live up to his father’s image, he decides to leave behind his best friend and love of his life, Annie after just one night of being together to join the navy. When he returns after eight years, it is a difficult homecoming for him emotionally. Little does he know just how bad it can actually get. Annie has gone from being a frightened, pregnant teenager, to a mother with the inner strength of a lioness protecting her cub. She is happy with the life that she is making as a single mother, and business owner till she gets a blast from the past. Jared is back in town and he has no idea about Chris. She knows she cannot keep them apart and is reluctantly coming to terms with letting her son learn about his father when things go all wrong. Now Annie and Jared must hope that they are not too late to rescue their little boy and his young friend from a kidnapper who is coming after Jared. Will things turn out okay, or are they going to lose their happily ever after even before it begins? Find out when you read the book.
This book went slow at first and sped up faster than I would have thought any story could. I hadn't read the first book in this series so I was on a different level in assessing the situation but I got it pretty quickly. Home town boy joins the service after doing irreparable damage to his friendship wth the girl of his dreams. Finally comes home to help a fellow Navy SEAL out and finds out he has a son. At first a little pissed off but realizes he still loves Annie. Annie on the other hand doesn't want anything to do with Jared until their son is kidnapped along with her best friends daughter. Everything comes to a head at a lake but the story will continue with the next book in the series. Bi will have to go back to get the first one but I will get through all the books in this series.
Second book of the series, which is amazing! But now I need to get book 1 and read it too! The story line is a pull at the heart string and hard to put down once you start! How one loves another no matter the difference they take in life or the paths they go down. Love seems to always draw those back to each other. But what Jared finds our once returning home that Annie shares... Just WOW!!! The suspense that this book carry with it is enough that you can't read just once more page. It will make you finish the book way before you realize it. I am waiting patiently, as patient as I can, for the next book in the series! The author has some major skills going in her writing!!
Eight years ago, Jared Martin left Tidal Falls a hotheaded youth, and returns home from the military as a bitter and disillusioned man. Now he also finds that he has a son that no one told him about.
Annie Campbell has made a nice life for her and her young son. She is dating the local sheriff and has her own successful business in the town but she finds something is still missing.
When an old enemy of Jared arrives in town and seeking revenge, can he protect Annie who he has never stopped loving and the son he never knew? Will his past catch up to him and destroy his chance of happiness?
Are Annie and Jared destined to be together with their son or will tragedy hit? A compelling read as it flows quickly.
I like the writing style of Alexandrea Weis. I enjoy her story telling. Her storyline in this book is something I haven’t seen before, the freshness makes it fun.
I like the background city of New Orleans it seems like a place I would want to visit. I think that the switch in roles in the story is intriguing. Here we have a male stripper and successful female.
I thought the way Alexandrea showed the embarrassment of the strippers in a different light by having it be the male perspective was fantastic. I look forward to reading more by Ms Weis.
I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.
Retired Navy SEAL, Jared is back in his small hometown and has some relationships to mend…starting with his mother…and the woman he had left behind. That is, if Annie will ever forgive him. Annie has been keeping a secret from Jared and he just may not forgive HER. Besides, she’s dating the sheriff and is happy. Then an enemy from Jared’s past surfaces and all of his loved ones are in danger. Can Jared right his wrongs and get the girl in the end? Good story We also get to catch up with friends from book 1 and sneak peeks into future stories.
I liked the first book but enjoyed this one even more. it was a great mix of romance, mystery and suspense. There was something always happening, something to influence the mood of the book. A fast pave second chance book with all the right ingredients to keep a reader hooked. It was engrossing and enjoyable. A great book all round.

Jared won a special place in my heart in book #1 of the Wounded Hearts series, Tidal Falls. He's sarcastic, funny, loyal, and of course, gorgeous. Annie is his best friend, and greatest mistake. He hurt her a long time ago, but neither have forgotten. It was a lot of fun getting these two back together, made even more difficult by an enemy from the past who's out to destroy Jared and anyone he cares about.
“The Rebel's Redemption” is the second book in the Wounded Hearts series. While it can stand alone, there are aspects which seem missing and will have readers wondering about the previous installment.
I am excited and grateful to be a GoodReadswinner :) quick and easy read I love that it is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Annie and Jared find there way back to each other but there is drama with the kids being kidnapped and Maggie stuck in a trafficking ring
Another great story full of action and surprises. Jared has returned to Tidal Falls after being in the military to find the love of his life Annie and her son Chris. His son. It's not long before his past comes to haunt him and puts his new family in danger. Will he be able to save them.
