Interview with the Author

Q – The Rushed Series of New Adult Romance is an interconnected series with your Reckless Series, what does that mean?

A –The Reckless Series is a trilogy that follows the same couple, Ellie and Logan, throughout. The Rushed Series books are standalone romances showcasing a different couple each book, with the featured couple from previous books continuing as minor characters in future books. The romances take place on the same university campus during the same school year as the Reckless Series. Many of the favorite Reckless Series characters make cameo appearances. What's even more fun is that the Rushed Series contemporary romances contain scenes that weren't shown in the Reckless books. They're told from the perspective of the Rushed Series characters so you get an outside view of the Reckless faves.

Q - What order should I read the books in?

A – You can read either series first. The Reckless books should be read in order. The Rushed books can be read in any order. If you do want to read the books in the series in order, I'd suggest the following sequence:

For the Rushed Series:

- Rushed

- Crushed

- Hushed, Jan. 2015

For the Reckless Series:

- Reckless Longing

- Reckless Secrets

- Reckless Together

Hope you enjoy them all. And thanks for reading!

Romance addict. Hopeless daydreamer. People watcher. Total romantic at heart.

That's me. When I'm lost in a good book a nuclear bomb could go off next to me - I wouldn't flinch. I'm not afraid to read in public and laugh until my eyes water and my sides hurt. I'll cry at a tender moment. Dab my eyes when a couple finally realizes they're in love. Race with my heart pounding to the end of an adventure. Give me a little mystery – now I'm really intrigued.

I'll fall in love with a hot, witty hero any day of the week. Shhh. Just between you and me? My biggest turn-on? A man with a sense of humor. Let me melt now. I'm hooked.

Give me billionaires, modern-day dukes and royals. Give me hot, witty nerds, and intelligent men.

Marriages of convenience? Fake relationships? Second-chance romances? I'm in!

I write books that I want to read. That make me laugh. That make my heart race. If any of this sounds good to you, join me! If you want to be sure to hear when I have a new release, visit me at www.ginarobinson.com and sign up for my newsletter.

When Maddie meets Seth, a guy that everyone has been mistaking for her older brother Ian, sparks fly. Little do they know, it is almost as if history is repeating itself.

I will admit, I still love this series. I also did like Maddie and Seth as characters for the most part. I just didn't feel this book lived up to the other two. For me it didn't have the depth and draw. I did not have the immediate "can't put it down" reaction. I had a hard time wrapping my head around the premise that a girl could fall for a guy who looked so much like her brother. Because that is a big part of the book, it interrupted the flow of the story for me.

I will definitely continue to read more novels from Gina, this is just my least favorite so far :)

Great writing--Robinson is a gifted storyteller.

The only reason for the low rating is that I have real issues with the collegiate "Greek" system, which is the setting for this book, so as a result didn't really enjoy it. If you're also not a fan of that culture, skip this book and read one of her other excellent series, all of which I've enjoyed tremendously!

If you're a member, alumni, or fan of that system, please read this book--it will probably bring back warm memories for you and I'm sure you'll really enjoy it.

Finally!! After reading Crushed, I was so excited because the next one will be about Seth. The charming chef of Double Deltsies. It was so intriguing because Morgan saw a doppleganger of Seth at the end of Crushed. So I was so happy when Ms. Gina emailed me. But I am really sorry my review was so late. I got so busy with my job hunting and turnovers from my last job. Kind of a drama if you ask me. Anyways, back to my review.

This story was outside the world of Double Deltsies. Seth got out of the greek and Maddie was never a part of any greek. Seth and Maddie met in a cooking class where Maddie had a feeling that it will change her life. They got an instant attraction to each other and while Maddie was convinced that Seth will leave her after a month as his reputation tells, Seth was so determined to prove Maddie that this is it for him and he will never leave her. This might be a typical love story but ofcourse there was a special twist!!

Remember the doppleganger thing I said earlier, it was a big part of the twist that I will not include in my review so you will have to read the book to know what it is.

The way the story was written made me want to skip on things just to have the answers for all of my questions. I love how the story started with the past that was a major contributor to the twist.

I love the twist but honestly I love the Crushed story than this one. I felt that the need to resolve the problem overwhelms their love story. I was more interested on how things will go rather than how they were developed to each other.

Don't get me wrong, I still love the story and I've been waiting for this. So thank you Ms. Gina for giving me this opportunity.

I recommend this book to those who love to read a sweet developing love story that may or may not be affected by the past that made you wonder "will they be together or not?"

I received a complimentary e-copy of Hushed in exchange for an honest review.

Hushed is book 3 in the Rushed series by Gina Robinson. While it could be read as a standalone, I think it's best to read Rushed and Crushed first, only because then you'll know who some of the characters are and also get a better feel for how everyone fits in together.

Maddie is away at college and is thrilled when her much older brother Ian takes a new job at the university since she hasn't had much time lately to spend with him. But she's floored when she meets Sean, a guy that could be his twin and even more surprised when she starts to have feelings for him as they spend more time with each other. She's not quite sure what to make of it and tries to keep their relationship on the down low but when she visits Sean's home and meets his dad, pieces start falling into place but by then she's too afraid of losing Sean that she keeps things from him.. The whole puzzling mess comes to a head and truths start to come out, but is it too late for Maddie and Sean?

I liked this book. I liked that it had a bit of a mystery flair to it, as we learned more about the secrets that were being kept hushed. Gina Robinson has made it onto my watch list and I'll be keeping my eye out for more from her.

4.5 stars!!

Great read! I throughly enjoyed this entire series. I like Crushed the best, which is odd since Morgan is so horrible in the first book. But that just shows you how talented a writer is if she can take a villain from a previous book, strip her bare so that you understand her, and make you root for her happily ever after!

This book gives you a snippet to a time almost 35 years ago, sitting the stage of things to come in the book, and slowly connecting the dots. I really enjoyed it! In fact I've got absolutely nothing done in the past 24 hours because I just had to know what we gonna happen next. 4 in the morning, I finally had to pry the book from my hands so I could sleep. Lol. Excellent writing, off the charts chemistry! Really just a fantastic read! Read the whole series! You will not be disappointed! And at $0.99 a book on Amazon Kindle, that's a steal! Trust me, you won't regret it!

I need to preface this review by saying that I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

This book is a wonderful read. It has love, regret, wistfulness, angst, torment, heartbreak, and passion. These are characters that I never saw coming. I thought for sure when I started reading that this was going to be your typical coming of age book, which would have been fine because I enjoy them. But, this was so much more than that. This was a soul searching and heart wrenching love affair for the ages. Though I saw some of the plot coming long before it ever became obvious to the characters, I think that this was necessary to allow the reader to bond with the characters. They learned along the way that a love worth having is a love worth fighting for, even if it forces others to re-examine their own lives.

Looking forward to more by this author!

I fell for the flirty Seth in Rushed and couldn't be happier than to see his story. Maddie is his perfect match. As much as she tries to resist his charms, she just can't seem to help herself - despite him looking like her brother. The more time they spend together, the farther they fall and the more his mannerisms remind her of her brother. As it turns out, her mom and his dad went to the same college in 1980. Both parents are keeping secrets that could potentially ruin their children's relationship. When the truth comes out, the tension rises and shock comes to all parties.
I loved this read. It had so many different aspects to it and kept me riveted. I look forward to reading more from Gina and recommend it.

I was given a copy in exchange for an honest review. This is the only book i read of the series.
Seth and Maddie meet in a cooking class. Sparks flew between them. Maddie is convinced Seth will leave her after a month. But Seth is determined to prove her wrong that she is the only women for him. He will never leave her. A typical love story with a special twist made me want to read all the books in the series beginning to end. I highly recommend to all romance lovers who love a romance that keeps you wondering will they stay together or not? Till the very end of the story.

This book was given to me on instaFreebie in return for an honest review. I have read several novels written around complicated family relationships, and this subject is particularly pertinent to family life today. The eruption at Mount St. Helens sets the scene for a sometimes heartbreaking dilemma for two lovers, Maddie and Seth, who come to think they might or might not be blood relatives. As the two of them gradually winkle out the secrets hidden in their family histories, they not only find happiness together, but gain a greater appreciation for their families. A really lovely read.

This is book 3 in the Rushed series. Maddie is a college student when Seth Butler comes into her cooking classroom these are the main people but the story also tells you of Laura and Rick. Maddie can not get over how much Seth acts and looks like her older brother Ian, what is the connection? Will they get a happy ending? I was gifted a copy for an honest review barwatts@telus.net.
