Elise is drowning under her sister's mountain of medical bills, while Luciano is recovering from his own medical setbacks. With clearance to return to his career as a professional athlete, he's ready to celebrate... but he also needs a discreet submissive to help him unwind.
Their arrangement seems like the perfect win-win. Elise gets to explore a few fantasies while earning the money her family desperately needs, and Luciano gets exactly what he's been looking for. Simple, right? Not even close.
One night changes everything. Neither of them walks away the same. Luciano realizes one night isn't enough, while Elise is left questioning everything she thought she knew about herself. She spends far too much time stuck in her own head, overthinking every feeling that night awakened.
When Luciano asks her to spend the weekend with him in New York, she agrees... though her stubborn streak makes sure nothing comes easy.

"Just one night"
This was such a fun, spicy little intro to this duet. Giving major Pretty Woman vibes with a “just one night” setup that obviously gets way more complicated once the chemistry kicks in.
The sub/dom dynamics were hot, the Italian soccer player MMC was ridiculously swoony, and I loved that the FMC balanced smart and sexy while still having this softer innocence to her.
Short, fast-paced, and very addictive - definitely the kind of novella that leaves you immediately reaching for book two.
