"I, Kael Thornwood, High King of Wolves... reject you."
One word shattered everything Aria Blackwood believed about fate, about the sacred mate bond, about the destiny wolves hold above all else. She walked into that ceremony with nothing but hope stitched into her mother's old dress and a stubborn belief that somewhere in the world, someone was meant for her. She walked out with her soul torn open and a thousand witnesses to her humiliation. Cast aside by the most powerful alpha wolf alive. Dismissed as a nobody. An omega unworthy of a king's attention.
But Aria Blackwood has survived worse than a broken heart.
Years of cruelty taught her to fight in secret. Years of silence taught her to endure. And somewhere deep in her blood, an ancient power stirs—one that prophecy claims will change the werewolf world forever. When Aria discovers she carries the legendary gift of the Silver Wolf, suddenly everyone wants to claim her. Rival alphas circle with offers of protection. Old enemies sharpen their knives. And the cold-hearted king who threw her away? He wants her back. Earning her forgiveness will take more than apologies It will take a possessive alpha king on his knees.

This is the first book from this author I have read. I enjoyed this second chance of a rejected mate book. And the battle they fight to seal there mate bond and battle darkness.
Tried to like this, writing was not bad. I just constantly felt like I was watching a very long, very weird, therapy session. Plus I just didnt think that the initial reason for all the struggle between the Mmc and the Mfc was all that bad. The Mmc had valid reasons for his harsh actions and the Mfc just ended up looking like a bit of a whiney kid who lucked into powers and became super entitled incredibly fast. Getting through this felt like work.
This book is a rejected mate, grovel, heal, and save the world adventure. When a frozen king humiliates a hopeful omega he sets in motion a series of events that could lead to the destruction of all that he knows. Kael and Aria must overcome the bitterness of their first meeting, then the evil that is seeping into the world. With support from new friends and loyal protectors they fight against the darkness that threatens them all. I found this slow burn story engaging and interesting with likable characters. The plot, though good, had an unbelievable aspect pertaining to a journal. If something is so important to you and you are leaving for good, never to return, wouldn't you take it with you? There is also a loose end with a female villian, what happened to her? Lastly, the timeline in the epilog and children's ages seemed off. I hate when details don't mesh! Nevertheless, it was a good book.
I think this book actually made it a parallel to my own story without the titles. Making the King a man, who truly proves his love. And women were our worst enemy, I know that I always feel not worth anything, but not letting others judgments make you give up. I have been married long time and we still tell each other everyday how much we love each other and the everyday miracles are worth fighting for.
"I, Kael Thornwood, High King of Wolves, reject you." He believed he was protecting her, but his rejection put the entire world in danger. However, Aria is a survivor. This book is a great find, especially since it contains no explicit content, which can be hard to come by in the omegaverse genre. In this case, the story simply didn't need it. Storyline: 📙📙📙📙 Intimacy Level: just a kiss. This book is appropriate for minors. Character Development: ➷➷➷➷➷ HEA: Yes Overall Impression: ✨✨✨✨
This book was not what I was expecting. If you are looking for you typical arrogant alpha male, then this is not the book for you. The male protagonist had his issues in the very beginning but was willing to learn and be vulnerable with his mate.
This book was truly about the power of love and self worth.
I think a lot of books in this genre tend to follow a pretty predictable formula now, though maybe I’ve just read too many of them!
This was an okay read for me overall. Some parts worked, but others didn’t quite land. In particular, the rival alpha suddenly declaring his feelings felt a bit odd and didn’t come across as very convincing.
Great ending to a story. I have been looking for a new author. I believe I have found one. What I enjoyed about this book is the author was able to convey the main characters feelings without having three or four pages of each chapter dedicated to having graphic sex. The author spent the time developing the characters instead.
Lovely story about personal strength, faith, and forgiveness
Lovely story about personal strength, faith, and forgiveness. It's a very good read. Uplifting ending, with heartfelt characters. A nice change of pace.
There are a ton of continuity errors In this book. Timelines, pov, who did what. The story is good but it’s not really a wolf story. One person shifts once. It’s not a smooth read but an interesting story nonetheless.
This book is absolutely amazing and beautiful. A book that you can get lost in. And the plot is perfect!!! There are so many lessons in this book. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did!! Inkwell Everhart is now my favorite writer! Looking forward to more stories!
Very well written without the smut being thrown in your face. Leaves you to imagine what the love between them was like. Loved how they found each other again and learned to trust and love each other! Will be reading more from this author. Very well written.
Either fully written or HEAVILY edited by ai. Do not waste your time with this when there are hard working authors out there writing from the bottom of their hearts. Awful.
Really good story. Has a good solid ending. Really appreciate how after the climax of the plot there was info on how things went after. Not as many spicy events nor details as I was assuming from the description though which was a bit of a bummer. Love the characters. Don't have many unanswered questions.
The conversations between characters was a bit too cheesey for me and breaking up the chapters with three non centered paw prints was more fan fiction than published book. The rejected mate trope at this point is also pretty over done and the author didn’t do anything to make it unique to the other countless versions
