⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review-ARC Review...

Stupid for Cupid by Lacey Hawthorne is the kind of spicy, whimsical novella that sneaks up on you and steals your heart arrow and all. Short, sizzling, and ridiculously fun, this story is the perfect hot-for-the-holidays escape with just the right mix of humor, heat, and heart.

Felicity is a refreshing FMC smart, career-driven, and proudly anti-love. Watching her clash with Cupid himself (who is equal parts charming, persistent, and surprisingly vulnerable) is pure entertainment. The banter is sharp, the chemistry is instant, and the premise of three days under the influence of Cupid’s arrow? Absolute gold.

What really made this novella shine for me was how much emotional punch it packed into such a short read. Beneath the playful chaos and spicy tension is a sweet, meaningful message about letting yourself believe in love even when you’ve built walls against it. Felicity’s internal struggle felt real, and Cupid’s determination to prove love is worth the risk was swoony in the best way.

This book is fast-paced, flirty, and perfect for readers who want a magical romance with heat, humor, and a satisfying happily-ever-after. If you’re looking for a quick read that will make you smile, blush, and maybe believe in love just a little more, Stupid for Cupid absolutely hits the mark. 💘🔥
Highly recommend for romance readers who love spice, supernatural twists, and holiday vibes!

“Sometimes you just have to shoot your shot”

Cute novella where the FMC has sworn off love and wants nothing to do with it. So much so she’s develops her career around that. This is where the MMC comes in on a mission to change her mind. I very much enjoyed the modernized retelling of the infamous Cupid that we all know of. At first as I was reading I felt like there was so much going on all at once, but as I continued I realized how everything fell into place. I’m so glad I gave this a chance, it’s a perfect cozy read. Really loved the FMC being curvy I felt I could relate completely and especially to her vulnerability. I think if you’re someone who has a strong guarded wall around your heart you could definitely resonate with the FMC. I know I most certainly did.

Here’s another Valentines Day quick read to add to your TBR ☺️

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of Stupid for Cupid by Lacey Hawthorne, and I genuinely cannot tell you how perfect this book is for Valentine’s season. From the very first page, it pulled me in and did not let go—I enjoyed it so much that I finished the entire book in just one day.

At around 150 pages, it’s the ideal length for a cozy, feel-good read, but don’t let that fool you—this story packs in plenty of charm, heart, and swoon-worthy moments. It’s sweet, fun, and exactly the kind of romance that makes you smile like an idiot while reading. The pacing was great, the romance felt satisfying, and it left me in such a happy mood when I turned the final page.

If you’re looking for a light, romantic read to curl up with—especially around Valentine’s Day—Stupid for Cupid is an absolute must-read. 💕✨

I was fortunate to receive an advance readers copy of this book from the author.

Ok this book was super cute!! I loved the MMC being the god Cupid in a hot human form who falls for the strong independent software developer FMC right away. This is a fun cozy romance with a great pace that kept me interested the entire time so I didn't want to put it down! The constant whitty banter between characters had me laughing and the spice was perfectly balanced so it snuck right in there and heated up to keep you warm at all the right times!

I will be adding this one to my shelf , and I definitely recommend others do too!

As a kid I always believed in Cupid and how he would find my true love so finding a book about Cupid and actually pretending to hit someone with an arrow seemed fitting. But when he follows her and tries to convince her to fall in love when he loves her. I mean there was spice and it was good! Such a great novella and almost ended in heartbreak.

I received a free copy of this book via Lacey Hawthorne and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I thought this was a perfect fast-paced novella for Valentines Day! The idea for this book was clever and the MMC being Cupid was a unique choice that I really enjoyed. Cute banter, a bit of spice, and enjoyable characters! I always want more from novellas (which is a me problem) but overall I suggest this book for a quick lighthearted read!

I was lucky enough to receive this ARC. It’s the perfect spicy holiday novella for Valentine’s Day. The banter was everything especially from the feisty main female character. However, what kept me hooked was the unique concept with the main male character being Cupid.

3.5 stars! I received this as an arc. It was a cute short story about Cupid and Felicity. They make a bet and Cupid shoots her with an arrow but does he really? Felicity and Cupid get there happily ever after! ❤️❤️❤️
