This fun and cozy book is filled with small poems and photographs dedicated to cats. If you are a huge cat fan, you will instantly be reminded of your fuzzy children when reading each poem. I wouldn't be surprised if they also conjure up fun and silly memories of them as well! That was my favorite part of reading this.
The photographs are woven perfectly into the poems, highlighting the best traits of the cats you just read about. Whether it’s a shot of cute little faces wrapped up in a purrito or a close-up of fluffy paws on a blanket, it’s incredibly charming.
From a design perspective, the book is beautiful and has an antique, cozy feel. The chapter layouts look like old handmade lace, and the use of argyle, plaid, and tartan patterns keeps that classic aesthetic consistent throughout.
The highlighted poems for me were "MUGS" and "Recipe for the Perfect Cat Loaf" as they brought about the most happiest memories of cats new and old. In "MUGS," the hilarious grudge against Steve were personal favorites. It reminded me so much of how my old cat reacted to my husband when we first started dating. In "Recipe for the Perfect Cat Loaf," i loved the visual appeal of this whole spread, especially with the photo of the grumpy cat sitting next to his own bread loaf toy.
If you enjoyed the author's other book, "I Could Pee on This", you will love this one. It's a fantastic coffee table book and a perfect conversation starter for any cat lovers visiting your home. Thank you for the chance to read this ARC, it really brightened my week!

The book features poetry written from the perspective of a cat. This allowed for some creative and downright hilarious poems as it captures the essence of what it’s like to have a pet cat and their distinctive personality. Overall, I really liked this book and would recommend it to everyone especially cat owners who might get a bigger kick out of this book because they might see themselves in the scenarios that were inside these poems. This book of poetry also contained beautiful still images of cats. The tiniest drawback for me was that on certain poems the typography clashed with the background making it a bit harder to read. Nonetheless, it’s a rather enjoyable read and one guaranteed to brighten the reader’s day.

Cancel Your Plans is a collection of poems told from the perspective of cats, each capturing the wonderfully self-important logic that every cat owner recognizes. Whether they're claiming the best spot on the couch, demanding attention at inconvenient times, or judging the humans who live with them, the poems strike a nice balance between wit and affection. One of my favorites was the poem that insists whatever you're doing can wait because the cat has already decided it's time to stay home together.
The humor is dry, playful, and surprisingly relatable, especially if you've ever had a cat rearrange your entire day without the slightest apology. 📝 ARC Review: I’ve read other feline friendly books by this author and they never disappoint! - This particular collection of poetry is written from the cat’s POV and is pretty accurate if I do say so myself! A lot of these poems had me smiling and low key chuckling. I also really enjoyed the many amazing cat photos throughout the book!
If you’re not a cat person, this might not be for you. But if you are… well, if you know, you know!

This is quite different from my usual forays into poetry. But hey, I'm a cat lover so it seemed like it'd be right up my alley. I was partially right, but unfortunately a lot of this little book fell flat for me. It's a silly book, but some of the humor just didn't land for me. Some of the jokes seemed a bit overwrought for my personal tastes. I absolutely can see an audience for this book, and I even know some people personally who I'd recommend this to. It would make a cute gift, especially with all the cat photos throughout.

This was a purrfectly cute and humorous collection of cat poems, very similar to the author’s previous collection that I enjoyed called “I Could Pee On This.” I think anyone who has ever owned and loved a cat would appreciate these poems as well as the full color photos of beautiful kitties throughout the book.

This is a visually beautiful, adorable collection with the perfect mix of feline attitude and affection. The author truly understands the strange logic of cats. Even when their behavior makes absolutely no sense, these poems somehow feel right.
Princess Donut would absolutely approve, and probably claim she ghostwrote parts of it herself.
I’ll definitely be gifting copies to some animal-loving friends.

This poetry collection describes what cozy means through the lens of a cat's eyes. Overall, I found myself crying with laughter multiple times throughout this poetry collection. I love the level of humor and snark that Francesco Marciuliano puts in his writing. I don’t own a cat, but thanks to this poetry collection, I can envision what the experience would be like.

First off I want to thank ARC for the opportunity to look at this book! What a cute little poem book from the stand point of a cat. I read other books in this type of series and was super excited that there was going to be another one! If you like cats and the way they act this is a cute book to pick up and read! Also the pictures of the adorable cats makes this book so CUTE!

It's a very cute book with cats and poems. Some of the poems are hilarious. Some brings comfort, some are silly, some are for holidays. It's a great coffee table book for the cat lover you know. Or for yourself because it's cute.
