Where were y'all when the lights came on?
When a hot, August weekend in Coachfield Mobile Home Park turns into a made-for-video farce, J.D. Crowder and Neelie Bedenfield wonder what in the Twilight Zone Hell has happened. Lights in the skies, cows consorting with unseen visitors, an odd government agent who does card tricks, black helicopters . . . it's just too damn hot for that kind of crap. Cleve and Lasandra Parkins already have enough to be worried about. Cheryl Stoudemire won't even admit anything's going on. Leeroy Cox is waaaay out of his element, and scared. Granny Gallaway, who believes fervently in aliens, has other notions altogether. J.D. and Neelie don't realize just how ambitious Granny's notions will turn out to be. Or how different everyone's lives will be, come Monday.
