No Bee Haven is a high-stakes military thriller of loyalty, corruption, and the courage to stand when the cost is everything.
I really liked this book. Ms. Montes had a unique understanding of the subject matter and was able to weave an intriguing story of twists and turns. It was a bit of an anxiety inducing tale. It wasn't too difficult to imagine the hardships of a female being in a man's world. I was a young female in construction industry in the 90s and alot of the treatment the female soldiers experienced rang true. I think she did a wonderful job of representing the fighting spirit of ladies in the trenches. As Sgt. Washington says “You have to be twice as squared away to be considered half as good as the guys."
I am.. without words! Wow! This is a great book! A hornet who risks her life to help correct injustice. A thriller that kept me on edge the whole time. A book I did not want to put down. A Must Read.
Thank you GoodReads & Victoria Montes for this giveaway ebook.
Brought back a lotta memories. I wore that same uniform in the same time frame.
I'd forgotten how aggressive some of the guys could get. I had it much easier, I think, because I was with Intel pukes who were more worried about the next D&D game than proving they had all the pointy bits.
