The third installment of the Wolf Queen Chronicles is heart-warming, mind-bending, and extra steamy. This title includes dark themes, please check content warnings.

"It wasn't time that consumed me, it was you."

In the aftermath of the queen’s demise, Winter finds herself at a crossroads. There will be another hierarchy battle if she doesn’t marry Westley. The packs crave stability, and two alphas are stronger than one. Between imprisoning Kaden and discovering the truth about her lineage, her mind is in turmoil. Is loving her mate enough to stay in the past forever and leave her family behind?

Westley isn’t going to force Winter to marry him. With pressure steadily mounting, she leans on his second instead. Everett is patient, understanding, and all of the things Westley isn’t. Jealousy grips Westley again and again, especially when he smells their stolen kisses. Is loving his mate enough when her heart drifts in different directions? Will she choose between him and his second, or will she go back to the future after all?

As Winter and Westley’s tale continues, the prophecy unfolds. Gold flourishes. Evil looms. Fate shifts into the enemy, threatening to end their story before it has the chance to bloom.

There are so many questions and decisions with twists and turns to discover the prophecy.I love the character development with all the feels of tension, yearning with the spice and banter but also heartbreak the dynamics will leave you on the edge of your seat. The emotional depth of this book and the ending ugh! I highly recommend reading!

Book 3 was by FAR my favorite. B.L. must’ve put crack in this one, I swear.

It was kinky and yummy right off the bat. Immediately intense. This jumped right in from where book 2 left off and threw us into feelings between the (now 3, maybe 4?!??) MCs. It was FANTASTIC.
This book connected dots and then left me with more unanswered questions, in the best way possible.

Seeing this pack grow and become close was absolutely the best part. It was incredible. Between Everett, Emrys, her mate, and Winter herself, this book kept me busy as hell. I loved it so much and I need more ASAP! The cliffy also killed me. Book 4 I’m WAITING.

B.L. Lewis has done it again! I have absolutely adored this series from the start, and The Golden Goddess did not disappoint.

We’re fully into the why choose aspects of this series with Book 3, and I LOVE Everett. So happy we’re seeing more of him in this book because he’s a freaking delight! Also, the spice was 🥵 in this one!

Also, thank you so much to B.L. Lewis for gracing us with the most beautiful wedding scene! Not only was the wedding scene itself a masterpiece, but the whole timeline of the day where we got to see Winter getting ready for the wedding was full of so many beautiful moments that we don’t always get to see in our favorite fantasy books.

As with the first 2 books in The Wolf Queen Chronicles, we of course had some unhinged chaos throughout Book 3. But we also got into some darker themes, like depression. And B.L. Lewis did a phenomenal job portraying that in this book.

The side characters in this book stole the show. And while they may be side characters, they all still play vital roles in not only this book but the overarching story of the series.

I did not see the ending of this book coming, and I love when books genuinely surprise me. We ended on a little bit of a cliffhanger, and I’m dying for the 4th and final book of the series to see how it all ends!

Thank you so much to B.L. Lewis for the gifted copy of this masterpiece! ❤️🐺🪄

Winter and West are back and all they really want to do is figure out their relationship, puzzle together how Everett fits & settle into a life with each other. They have numerous inner demons to overcome and are faced with many of them in book 3. BL knows how to cook up chaos & it is fully unleashed in the later half of the book, ending on another high-stakes cliffhanger. I’ll be interested to see how they handle a new inter-dimensional villain and what comes of the finalized prophecy.

A few things kept me from loving this book as much as the first… it was hard for me to love some of our MCs this time around, having nothing to do with their fleshed out depression and much to do with the immaturity I kept seeing when they faced a conflict. I felt like I was sludging through some of the dialogue that wasn’t landing for me, feeling simplistic at times. There were repetitive reassurances for all of the people in Winters life that she loves. I am happy she has her found family, though. It’s so needed when she can’t catch a break.

*Thank you to B.L. Lewis for the eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own*

This one started off cosier and it was a much spicier read than the first two. I loved both books 1 and 2 so much and this one was great as well. I really adore Ev and West with Winter so I ate it up. I love their dynamic. Bl Lewis Once again loaded the pages with some sort of magic dust that had me glued to every word. I loved the new setup and twists and I'm eager to see where the last book leads. It was a wild ride and a delicious one too. I really love the banter, even between her friend Magdalene and her.

It was more spicy than my typical reads. I love BL's writing though. She has a great way with words so I didn't mind the extra spice. I did crave more plot and I hope we get more story in the next one. Getting to know all of the characters on deeper levels was worth reading. It was so addictive I started and finished the same night, staying up late to finish.

This third installment in the series was my least favorite of the three, but I do love the characters we’ve come to know and will be excited to see how this ends after a big cliffy.

Most of this book focuses on one main event which felt kind of fluffy and vapid, and for me this overshadowed the deeper messages of trauma and depression that were meant to be conveyed. It took reading the author note at the end to redirect my attention to those themes, which gave me that “aha!” moment, but unfortunately I’d already read the whole thing without that mindset.

I didn’t love Winter in this. She seems impetuous and inconsistent in her actions vs words. Everett is the most patient wolf/man ever while his two loves figure their shit out. I’d also love for Emrys to have depth beyond being Winter’s hype man. The relationship felt almost belittling to him at times.

Lastly, I noticed that all three books have had a similar pattern of insanely horrible things being done to Winter at the eleventh hour of the book, and I think I’d love for that formula to vary.

I’m thankful to the author for the opportunity to read an ARC, as I have with the whole series!

Thank you to the author for an eARC of this book! All opinions are my own.

I had a tough time with this book. I really wanted to love it because I’ve enjoyed the series so far, but it fell a little flat for me. The plot felt a little all over the place, which is usually something I enjoy from this author, but it didn’t land this time. While I did appreciate the mental health rep and side characters, even that felt flat to me. I will still continue the series because I’ve been invested but unfortunately, this was a miss for me.

I just finished my super early ARC copy!! Another brilliant instalment of the Wolf Queen Chronicles 😍

The Golden Goddess is a masterclass on all the different types of love. It’s deeply emotional and packs some heavy punches. It’s still got unhinged Winter and Westley moments, but they’re made so much sweeter with Everett entering the mix. He’s your typical flirty, boy next door with eyes like the ocean and he is the tonic Winter needs to begin to climb out of a dark place.

I honestly am in my why choose era, and this MMF romance was the perfect mix of both cute and spicy 🌶️🫶🏼😏 I cannot imagine Winter and Westley without their sweet, caring beta, Everett. I love how Ev knows exactly what Winter needs and can be that person who fills her emotional needs. But he can also knock some sense into Westley, who bless him just wants to solve his problems with violence, alpha style.

This book is a little slower paced than the first two, but only to allow sufficient time for the reader to truly understand how each character is feeling and how Winter’s deep depression is affecting all the people she loves and that love her.

I applaud BL on her plot twists. One I didn’t see coming until it snuck up on me. Standout characters are Mags, Winter’s faithful bestie, who is so snarky and hilarious and at times she steals the show for me. Ev has my whole heart 🥹 He’s such a cinnamon roll! Westley is such a bone head at times but also he’s my original Wolfie crush so I absolutely love him 🔥💁🏻‍♀️

I adored the juxtaposition of dark and light themes in this book, the continued world building and prophecy and the ending had me screaming!!

This series is phenomenal. It’s a fever dream, the writing is such a rush, so addictive and the characters stick with you long after you’ve stopped turning those pages. Give this indie author’s series a chance and check it out for me 🖤✨ If you enjoy why choose and wolf shifters, this series is a MUST!

The Golden Goddess by BL Lewis

My favorite quote you won’t understand unless you read the book (GO READ THE BOOK !!) :
„But I already have you.“ <3

The way I completely devoured every single book in this series should speak for itself on how good these books are, but if I still have not influenced you enough, let me make it very clear for you:
The second book already had a lot of character development but this book tops that even more. In book one we met a sassy witch who seemed all sharp, her weapon (besides her wand) being sarcasm and humor. As the story unfolded in book two and now three, we got to see her depth, strength, and growth—transforming her into a true (but still sassy) queen in every sense. The same goes for nearly every character in this series, what made me personally love it even more. Lewis just has a way for character growth that gets to you.
Now, while this is a why choose, I loved to see Winter actually struggle with figuring out exactly that. We saw and felt her fall in love with our grumpy Alpha West at first, but when Everett came into the picture, we got to see her fall in love again and having to find out a way that works for them all, that works for her especially, was such a heartfelt journey.
And while this is more than just a spicy romance—it has time travel and all the topics that come with that, like struggling to leave part of your life in the future, it has epic fights and deep lore and plot twists—this is such a beautiful and real-feeling romantic story, I absolutely love it.

The vulnerability of the characters, the struggles and the finding-their-ways, the packed plot and the spice.. this series has so so so much to offer and I really cannot stress enough how urgently you need to read this!
Especially since book three is officially out!! So, what are you waiting for?

WHAT DO I EVEN SAY? MY BRAIN IS NOT BRAINING!

This book is properly named but inside reflects a much bigger, deeper, chaotic and emotionally reflective story.

The author beautifully highlights the chaos of Winters constantly changing life and the weight of it all, the past haunting her more so now than ever. Winter is a ferocious and deeply empathetic person and balances them well - exuding strength, support, love while still able to be commanding, steadfast and authoritative. She wears her burden under her heart but with West and now Everett in her life, they are all able to tame the beast and cherish the broken pieces with no timeline, no expectations - with raw love, intense passion and understanding; unfiltered affection. West and Ev are the ying and yang of Winters life, each offering light and dark and somehow they all balance each other offering support, love and a safe space to heal.

This story unravels quickly and evolves in no specific pattern; you think you have it figured out and the story turns another direction. Over the development of so many things, the trio face many obstacles, decisions and more questions than answers. Tension, yearning and devastation are present as ever as the prophecy continues to unravel - not all that glitters is gold. You get more character development, more in depth experience of everything going on behind the scenes.

The author created the perfect concoction of spice, banter, heartfelt moments and heartbreaking moments in an unmatched intensity that has your heart cracking, warming, and speeding up. The end was so brutal and leaves you feeling so many emotions, closing this book with so much unanswered feels like darkness itself is taking over your vision leaving you blinded, much like Winter.

being back in this world always makes me so happy. i absolutely love these characters with my entire heart. 🥹

since this is the third book in a series, i won’t say much, but i will say this one is more character driven up until about 80% and i LOVED it. i loved being with the group and working through everything that happened in the previous two books! the story unravels FAST towards the end and it had me on the edge of my seat, that cliffhanger was diabolical though 😀

winter is absolutely one of my favorite fmcs of all time. while she can be strong and not take any heat from anybody, deep down she has softness that is so beautiful when she lets it show.

westley is an alpha through and through, let me tell you ✋🏼 that man is so protective and down bad for winter, it makes me giggle and kick my feet every time.

two main side characters that really show out in this book really gripped my heart and became favorites of mine 🥹 (e&e iykyk) the way they would do anything for winter at the drop of a hat, UGH.

everyone is so perfect and i love this world with my entire heart. thank you so much to B.L. for the opportunity to be on your arc team! i can’t wait to see how this story concludes.🖤

*** Review of ARC ***

This book. What can I really even say besides I loved it. And there's just sooo much to actually say....
I have absolutely loved all 3 books so far. I have loved the world building and the relationships growing and molding into something beautiful.

The ending of this book did kill me with that cliffhanger though.

*** SPOILERS ***

I absolutely love the friendships Winter has made along the way. Emrys and Magdalene are phenomenal. I was sooo happy when Winter asked Emrys to do the blood oath with her. I have so much love for sweet Emrys. He's just the sweetest thing. He brings out a side of Winter most don't get to see.

As for her relationship with both West and Everette. I love the slow build with them. She knows she loves them both whole heartedly, but they're still getting to know each other more and more a long the way.

I was shocked when she asked to mark Everette when she hadn't marked West who is her actual mate first. I made me feel a bit bad for West, until she stated that she wants to mark him too.

But that ending ....

Why? Like why though??

That cliffhanger was brutal.
Interdimensional twin Winter aka Winnie. She was definitely a bit crazy and delusional. But she definitely pulled one over on Winter. Big time.

I cant wait to see what happens next, because I really really need to know what happens next. Does Winter pull through? Are West, Everette and Emrys able to escape? There was so much happening and I have so many unanswered questions.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

B.L. Lewis does it again! I can't recommend this series enough!

For me, this series gets better and more addicting with each book. The Golden Goddess has to be my favourite out of the three so far. I read it within 24 hours and devoured it!

There were so many quotes I had highlighted even from the beginning. Some about love, some about the spiciest things Wes, Everett or Winter would say to one another. I wish I could list them all because when I was reading, a few times I said to myself, "Holy sh*t that was smooth B.L." There's one thought Winter had to herself that was my all time favourite!! This was one of my favourite Why Choose books I've read. It was perfectly done, the palace scene has to be one of my all time favourite spicy scenes I've read!

Well done B.L. Lewis! I couldn't recommend this series enough! I'm sad book 4 will be the final book because I love Winter, Wes, and Everett so much!

The reason why I adore B as a writer, and adore this series in general, is because of how much time we spend truly getting to know our characters. B doesn’t just want to tell us a story, which is easy to do, she wants us to travel with Winter, West, Everett, Mags, Emrys, walk a mile in their shoes, get deep under their skin, see what makes them tick, what makes them feel seen, what they need to feel whole. She has been laying those breadcrumbs of meaty character moments since The Magicless Mage, weaving a story of loneliness, of pain, of vulnerability hidden behind sharp edges, of anger masking raw, passionate want and it feels truly effortless. Each instalment feels like the best instalment. I am enchanted by her writing, the use of imagery to build a scene, the sharp humour in the text which perfectly mirrors our sassy Winter, and her bravery in writing characters who are broken, flawed, who feel beyond redemption, and then writing for them a home. My heart is full to the brim for The Golden Goddess, and for B, a unique talent who deserves every piece of success in the world for this incredible series. The last 20% of this book will consume you whole, have you raging and crying and gnashing your teeth - and then staring into space as you wonder what comes next.

To say I loved this book would be an understatement! Getting to read B. L. Lewis’s work truly feels like I become a part of the book myself. I’ve said this before, but as soon as I start one of these books, I just can’t seem to put it down! Getting to read about the character dynamics, not only between Winter, West and Everett, but also between Winter, Mags, and Emrys just keeps me captivated! I loved this book so much I need book 4 as soon as possible! How dare you leave me on the edge of my seat like that! 😭💔 If you haven’t yet, I highly recommend the Wolf Queen Chronicles to anyone who is interested in a heartfelt story filled with love, passion, acceptance, and found family!

I was so so lucky to get an early arc copy of it and let me tell y’all!! This is by far the best book of the series. This is top tier why choose , and if you don’t like that trope, I beg you to give this series a chance as the author’s writing is so exquisite that she will turn you into a why choose trope lover. I loved seeing both Wynter and West slowly heal from their inner trauma with the help of Ev. Oh Everett….its absolutely impossible to not fall in love with his character. I can’t express enough how lucky I am I got to read this series and if you stumble upon it, you will NOT regret it.

Thanks to B.L. Lewis for the eARC! 💕

All Winter wants is time. Time to sort out her feelings, to understand the prophecy, and how her lineage is relevant to it. Westley is still battling his insecurities and doesn't want to force Winter's hand in marriage, but the packs require it, and they all know it. He loves Winter, but sees how she looks at Everett. Will she reject their bond and chose his second over him? Or abandon them alltogether and return to the future to be with her family? Can they figure out their changing relationships, without breaking each other's hearts?

TGG heavily focuses on relationships and trauma, and thus broke my heart multiple times. 💔
West never considered himself worthy, never good enough. The one thing Winter asked for, time, he cannot give her. He craves his mate's proximity, even though he feels banished to the sidelines.
Seeing how easily it comes to Ev to support Winter in her struggles, and how much she adores him is eating West alive, and his jealousy boils to dangerous levels once again.

The way I see it, Everett is literally the glue holding it all together, he really loves them both fiercely, and should be more appreciated. He's understanding and patient with Winter who is refusing to put a label on their relationship, and still supports her while she confronts past and future. He calls West out on his bad attitude, and overall makes him a better man imho - and it's been that way even before Westley became alpha. The difference to before is that Winter makes Ev challenge West, not in a threathening way, but one that enables growth. 😌

Sometimes dealing with ones own feelings can be overwhelming, but considering they're all bound to each other, when one suffers, they all suffer and it must be unbearably difficult to figure out their relationships on such a short timeline. ❤️‍🩹 It's beautiful how slowly but surely, and with constant reassureance, West changes for the better while being around Ev & Winter. After all, if they cannot convince him that he's worthy of love, nobody can. This is the ultimate why choose because they all love each other deeply. ❤️‍🔥

This book, this entire series, reminds me of why I prefer series over standalones. You get to know the characters, not only the protagonists but the others as well. You'll end up begging the author for spin-off series because you want your favorite side character to tell their story.
B.L. Lewis is a genius and casually provides backstories for her characters, all while making them relevant to the main story and I LOVE it. She did so for Mellie, and in this one we learn more about Mags and Emrys, and that's fantastic. Side characters who are more than a plot device? YES PLEASE! 👏

B.L. Lewis truly knocked it out of the park with Golden Goddess. This book is, in every sense, golden.

What stood out to me immediately was how thoughtfully B handled the emotional and mental health struggles of both Winter and West. Healing isn’t rushed here. Growth is messy, nonlinear, and deeply human — and Everett becomes the steady center they both need when everything feels like it’s unraveling.

West is really going through it in this installment, but watching his growth was incredibly rewarding. He’s learning to give himself grace while trying to become a better wolf, alpha, pack leader, and mate to Winter. Even when he falls back into anger, he’s learning to challenge his thinking and choose change — and that progress feels earned.

Winter is guarded, fierce, and controlled on the outside, yet deeply vulnerable beneath the surface. Her fear of letting people in — and letting herself be loved — mirrors West’s in powerful ways, which explains why they’re so explosive together. As we learn more about her past, her need for control and emotional armor makes heartbreaking sense. Her trauma has shaped her adulthood, but this book shows her slowly beginning to loosen her grip and open her heart.

And then there’s Everett — the calm to West’s feral energy and the emotional anchor holding them together. He knows when to give space and when to draw a firm line, reminding them who they are. Watching how West and Everett balance one another was one of my favorite dynamics, especially in how it centers and supports Winter. It becomes clear that the three of them truly need each other.

B also continues to shine with found family. Emrys absolutely stole my heart, and watching Winter embrace him was incredibly touching. The strengthening bonds between Winter, Mags, and a certain tiny vampire added another layer of warmth and healing that Winter desperately needed.

And that ending? A wild prophecy and a cliffhanger that left me reeling and counting down to book four.

Golden Goddess delivers emotional depth, growth, passion, found family, spice, sharp humor, and lingering threats that refuse to disappear. B’s wit had me snorting out loud more than once — and I am more than ready to watch our Golden Queen finally claim her throne.

✨ARC Review✨

Hands down, a 6⭐ read for me!

“It wasn’t time that consumed me, it was you.”

And that single line tells you everything you need to know about the way this book will OWN your fucking heart!

Winter and Westley’s story didn’t just continue…it deepened it, fractured it, and then set it on fire. From the very first chapter, I felt the weight of grief, duty, and impossible choices pressing down on Winter. Winter’s internal conflict is raw and devastating. Love versus blood. Fate versus freedom. Past versus future. My heart ached for her because loving your mate should be enough, right? But sometimes love asks for sacrifices that feel unbearable.

And Westley…god Westley absolutely shattered me. His restraint, his jealousy, his quiet desperation as he watches Winter lean on Everett…it’s brutal in the most human way. He loves her enough to let her choose, even when it’s destroying him.

And Everett? Ugh 😩 He is so patient, gentle and safe. The emotional tension between these three is exquisitely painful, filled with unspoken truths and longing. And you WILL be left having a hard time choosing between Ev and West…but that’s part of the “why choose” isn’t it?! 🔥🥵

The prophecy unfolding in the background adds an ominous, glittering edge to everything. Gold flourishing. Evil stirring. Fate itself turning adversarial. Just when you think the story might offer peace, it reminds you that destiny is not kind…and unfortunately, happy endings are never guaranteed.

This book is emotional torment done right. It’s yearning and jealousy and devotion tangled together…layered with pack politics, looming war, and a love triangle that actually means something. I didn’t just read this, I felt every heartbeat, every choice, every almost could be. Hands down, a 6⭐️ read.

If you love stories where love isn’t easy, fate is cruel, and the characters leave claw marks on your soul…this is an unforgettable continuation in The Wolf Queen Chronicles, that will forever live rent free in my head! I am emotionally wrecked, utterly obsessed, and desperately need the next book 🐺 💔✨

★★★★★ | 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3/5 Spice)

The Golden Goddess by B.L. Lewis — the third installment in The Wolf Queen Chronicles — absolutely delivered. Five glowing stars from me.

First of all, the pacing was spot on. This book moves with purpose. There’s tension, political maneuvering, emotional depth, and just enough breathing room between major moments to let everything land. I devoured it in two days because every chapter left me needing just one more.

Both MMCs? Incredible. B.L. Lewis truly knows how to write compelling male leads who feel distinct and fully realized. Their personalities, strengths, vulnerabilities, and dynamics with the FMC were layered and believable. The tension between them (and with her) added so much richness to the story without overshadowing the overarching plot.

And as always, the FMC was written beautifully. She’s strong without being infallible, emotional without being weak, and her growth throughout this book felt earned. Watching her step fully into her power in this third installment was deeply satisfying. Lewis consistently writes heroines you want to root for, and this was no exception.

The spice lands at a solid 3/5 — present, meaningful, and emotionally driven rather than overwhelming. The intimate moments enhanced the character dynamics and added to the stakes instead of distracting from them, which I appreciated.

Most importantly, this book lived up to the first two in the series — and that’s not easy to do. If anything, it deepened the world, raised the emotional stakes, and solidified why The Wolf Queen Chronicles has become such a standout fantasy romance series.

B.L. Lewis continues to prove why they are an auto-buy author for me. If you’ve been following this series, you will not be disappointed. And if you haven’t started it yet? Now’s the time.

This series just keeps getting better 😍 this book was just more feminine rage, more steamy spice, more chaos, alpha mommy goodness, more found family and just more FUN!

I had the privilege of beta reading this book but I wanted to reread it ahead of release day (and because I needed my Winter and West fix 🤭)

I love how all of the characters are written in this book and given that its book 3, it felt right to have a book mainly focusing on the characters. Especially to give Everett (my man 😍) a warm welcome to the role as second MMC.

The overarching plot was still there but took a backseat to make way for Winter and West's relationship to develop and how they both manage their personalities.

I loved the growth that Winter went through with dealing with her dark thoughts and relinquishing control and allowing herself to be looked after. And then with West and dealing with his anger and working with Winter as alphas together.

Also the spice absolutely ramps up in this one and goooooodness me was I eating it up 😮‍💨 if you like your alpha wolf shifter x witch x beta wolf shifter to be hot and full of chilli peppers then you are in for a TREAT 🤭

Overall, probably my favourite addition to the series so far. There's still all the perfect elements that are present in books 1 and 2 but now we get to see more of the characters and who they are as people and to each other. I cannot wait to see where the series continues 😍

The Golden Goddess releases March 3rd!

I received this book as an early ARC and I cannot tell you how happy I am that I did! Let’s get into it!!

First things first this is one of my favorite series I’ve read this year! If you haven’t read this series yet, you are truly missing out!!

I can’t!! I would sell my soul to have my hands on book 4 right now!! The cliffhanger…BUCKLE UP!

This world that B.L. Lewis has built is something beyond most books I’ve read my whole life. The picture that is painted literally transports you to this world and you feel like you’re right there with the characters.

Speaking of characters…let’s dive in!

Emrys: Favorite side character. He brings so much to this book and I love his and Winters friendship.

Winter: as always badass as hell! And only getting better!! She is so fierce with her self and her loyalty to those she loves!!

West: I LOVE HIM!! He is so rough and tumble but also so tender in the way he loves. He’s still hot headed as all get out in this book but honestly that is why we love him!!

Everett: I loved Ev from the second he was introduced into this series and let me tell you this book didn’t disappoint with Ev!! He had me drooling!!

This book also touched on depression and anxiety and as someone who struggles with both and some days getting out of bed seems like the hardest task on the planet, having that showcased in a book made me feel and even deeper connection to the story. It was beautiful and I’m so glad it was included!!

The ending. THE ENDING!! I screamed. Literally screamed!! I need the 4th book like yesterday!

I want to rate this more than 5 stars!!

I loved jumping back into this world. This time around there was so much more in depth conversations and feelings. Gathering how each other felt, how to control their emotions and how to work together. It’s truly amazing. Seeing Winter come out of her shell and be this absolute GODDESS was something I didn’t know I needed. Along side her—Everett and West🥵—know exactly what to do and what to say for Winter. Everett is just an absolute dream and I can’t help but love him even more than before. West’s emotional growth was done so perfectly and you could feel how he felt. His pain, his betrayal, his love. I was so happy to have Emyrs, Mags, Mellie, and Felix back and learning more about them and how each of them care deeply in different ways for Winter. The story continues so well from book two and continues to be even more deep than before. Not only with their relationship but trying to find out Winter’s prophecy. So many things were happening throughout but not once did I feel lost. The way everything progressed felt so natural—if you can feel that way about time travel, werewolves and mages. Ending on that crazy twist of a cliffhanger left my mind swirling. I can’t wait to dive back in and find out the truth and get the answers Winter needs. But also, I want to see exactly how badass Winter will become. I can feel it. A True Golden Goddess.

✨ ARC Review ✨
I finished this and just stared at the wall for a solid five minutes. The last chapters were absolutely unhinged in the best way. I am not okay!!!
Being on the ARC team for the first time is such an honor because this world genuinely has me in a chokehold. Book three feels deeper and heavier, I'd never thought I'd be the type of person to fall for wolves.
I loved that this one gave us more time with the characters at first. Winn is still fierce and stubborn, but you really see the emotional weight she’s carrying. And West, is completely feral in his devotion. Protective and so down bad for her, just how I like my men. Their relationship feels more mature now and it’s spicier...
Then the final few chapters just explode. I could NOT put it down. That ending was cruel in the way only a setup for an epic finale can be.
If you’ve loved the yearning and magic from the start, you'll love this and won't be ready for it to be over. I’m obsessed and already counting down to the last book.
Thank you B.L. Lewis for allowing me to be a part of your world and trusting me with an early copy of this story. I have cherished Winn and West' relationships and I’m so grateful to be along for this ride and can’t wait to see how everything concludes. Thank you for reading this review, it's my first and hopefully not my last arc! <333 🐺✨ BTW this is the fastest in my LIFE I've read 3 books.

You can always count on B to take you for a ride, and the third in this series was no exception. Unhinged, chaotic and emotionally charged - I had my teeth sunk in from start to finish.

The pacing is fast, and there is so much happening - just be ready for the cliffhanger. When do we get the finale?!

I love these characters. West and Winter feel like coming home and I loved seeing the depth B pours into them. Both had moments I wanted to shake them, while also petting their hair. Thank goodness for Ev. He’s uncouth, incorrigible and the perfect balance to West’s hot temper. I’m admittedly not usually a fan of “why choose”, but here, it just works. And who wouldn’t want two amazingly attractive and smitten wolves fawning over them? Winter, can we share too? Don’t stab me.

We see so many more facets of our MCs in this book. The character reflection and growth is exponential. They’re going to be unstoppable when they learn to stop standing in their own way.

Also loved seeing more on page time with some of my favorite side characters. Sweet Emry’s is a show stealer.

As mentioned, this story ends on a cliffhanger and it had me wanting to throw my kindle and scream. B perfectly set up for the finale and rest of the prophecy.

Run, don’t walk, to catch up before The Golden Goddess releases in March. You’re going to love this chaotic ride.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.5, rounded up to 4)
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

✨thank you to B. L. Lewis and her team for sending me an eARC of this book. I am thankful for the privilege to read and review ✨

Tropes:
🐺Omegaverse
🐺Dark Romantasy
🐺Mating Bond
🐺Why Choose? (MFM)
🐺Witches and Magic
🐺Depression Rep
🐺Found Family

My Thoughts:
As the previous two books, B. L. Lewis continues to bring chaos, magic, and love with every page. In my personal opinion, I did enjoy book 2 quite a bit more, but I think this one is setting up the fourth and final book quite a bit. This was very fast paced and dealt a lot with Winter trying to decide what she wanted for her future, the wolf pack hierarchy, and Winter and Everett’s growing relationship. This book was fast paced and extremely spicy. The found family continues to become a bigger theme which makes me happy. My couple complaints were that I found some of the dialogue cringey, which I also felt in the first book, and I wanted focus on the mated pair. I wish I had more Westley overall in this book. I feel like Everett and Winters relationship took the forefront and with Winter and Westley being fated mates and Alphas I wish it was more focused on them.
