Eternal Love

Rate this book
In Triora, the past does not sleep. It waits for the living to return.
Elle believed she had uncovered every truth, but when the dead she once loved walk again, the world she built begins to crumble. The town holds more than memories; it holds centuries of secrets buried beneath its stones, waiting for her to find them.
Old promises stir once more. Souls long bound begin to awaken. Love, fierce and endless, rises from the ashes again. But every truth has a price, and destiny is not easily defied.
In the end, Elle must face the one question that has followed her across
what will she lose to claim what was always meant to be?
Because sometimes the greatest battle is not against fate,
but against what the heart refuses to forget.

Eternal Love is the third part of the Eternal Trilogy. The moment I finished reading the second book, I immediately wanted to dive into this one, but the wait only heightened my expectations.
.
.
If this book were a standalone, it would have easily been a 4.5 or 5 star read for me. But because I truly loved the first two books in the series, my expectations were naturally high, and that shaped my reading experience.
.
.
The story beautifully blends past and present, and the ancestral storyline was powerful and thoughtfully written. However, the pacing felt uneven at times, with certain sections moving slowly while others felt rushed.
.
.
I personally missed spending more time with the main leads-Jason, Elle, Eva, and Cole. Their chemistry was one of the strongest aspects of the first two books, and I was hoping to see it deepen further. While the ancestral narrative was compelling, it slightly overshadowed the present-day dynamics I had grown attached to.
.
.
That said, emotions were very much present, I cried hard while reading the last few pages of the book. The final chapter was the highlight for me, unraveling long-standing mysteries from the first two books and delivering multiple impactful twists that brought the series together.
.
.
My favorite in the series remains Eternal Vengeance, but Eternal Love is a meaningful conclusion.
.
.
Don't forget to read the series in order because it is a must-read and a wonderful series for those who are into the Mystery Fantasy genre.
