Wonderful book great part of the series and a good amount of drama. Wish she would bring some of the old characters back to see what they have been up to.

I'm so glad that Vanessa shared an update to Isaac and Nina's lives years later, it amazing how much of a fight you have to put up to break generational curses sometimes.

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously and he will give you everything you need. Isaac and Nina Walkers have been through hell & more hell but once they gave their life to Christ there was no turning back even when evil find it's way back into their space. Their mission is to serve God, love their family and bring others to Christ; so that no ones Soul will burn forever in Hell. Continuing to seek God first, God has never let them down and their lastest test was no different.

After having Isaac Walker Jr, (the child they never thought they would have), they covered him with pray and God's protection. Not wanting the evil of Pastor Isaac's past to ever corrupt Ikee they chose not to share who Isaac Walker was before he became a pastor. But the devil has a way of sneaking up and revealing the truth for his good. BUT GOD.........

I have enjoyed this series from the beginning (MY FAVORITE CHRISTIAN FICTION SERIES EVER); and those warrior Angels ALWAYS put a smile on my face and bring hope in my own life.
Vanessa Miller you are truly a gift from God who has an anointed way of spreading the WORD through Books!

As always, I enjoyed this work by Vanessa Miller. She forever writes about the challenges centered around seeking a life that is pleasing to the Father. She doesn't sugarcoat the wrestling that goes with trying to live right. As with us all, Miller illustrates that families can be endowed with generational blessings and also burdened with generational curses.

We have to work at loosening those chains. Just as the Walker family, sometimes as adults we don't share with our child the degradation and pits that we've been in because we want to protect them. Nevertheless, sometimes they need to know that we have a past that is not so great...and with God...we were able to turn it around. Likewise, sometimes we can be so eager to make a pretty penny that we don't listen to anyone.

Great work. Encourage everyone to read any work by Vanessa Miller....as with me and the other Book Club members, you will be able to identify with the struggle that she uses as the backdrop!

After the Rain continues the seemingly never ending battle between good and evil for the Walker family. In a style that is all her own, Vanessa Miller has once again demonstrated God's love for His children. In this installment of the Rain series, Isaac and Nina Walker (my favorite fictional people) find their faith being tested once again when their youngest child strays from their teachings and finds himself in a situation too large for him to handle. Faith, forgiveness and trust are core values laced throughout this book, but the greatest lesson I learned was to stay focused on the charge that God has given each of us. I was as blessed with this book as I was with the first installment, Former Rain, and each one in between.

though it is book 7 it can be read as a standalone :)

very engaging story about the choices we make in life and their consequences, about the teenage rebellion and more :)

This book stands as a very strong reminder of few things we tend to forget in our regular lives...

first of all - the power of prayer!
second - that when we pray, our Guardian Angels are fighting the demons! that fight was very beautifully described in this book!!!

Vanessa Miller has written another good book following the lives of the Walker family. Even though this book is a work of fiction I think young people who are thinking of being a hustler and hanging out in the streets should read this book. This book brings out a lot of valid points, encouragement and inspiration to each reader. I am looking forward to the next installment that releases in April.

I really am enjoying this series. The Walker family continue to endure attacks of the enemy from past sins related to Isaac but God keeps on showing Himself strong and the salvation message abounds more and more in this novel. Good read!
