Obligatory, my reviews start at 3 stars.
I enjoyed this read and my return to the Tiny Dungeon. This book continues the struggles of our Core as he recovers from the assault in book 1, rebuilds, redesigns, and expands his influence throughout the manor and surrounding lands.
It does not however advance very far. I didn't mind that, I enjoyed the sort of slow pacing and development. Although, in typical LitRPG fashion, it isn't that long time wise. Why does everything have to happen in but a few days or weeks? Especially a Dungeon core, give it some time to breathe, I would think.
Anyway, as our dungeon gets bigger but not necessarily more experienced (literally, no one runs the dungeon this book, so I kind of missed that), the world also expands and we start to see more of the greater world and bigger connected plot that we're going to get involved in. I'm not entirely sure I'm understanding how everything works yet, but either I missed it reading to late one night or it hasn't all been properly detailed quite yet. I think the later, but who knows.
Anyway, as dungeon core books go this was a fun read and I'd say it's better then the 4 star rating, just not getting to five. The next book looks to be a bit more 'dungeony' given the ending, so I'm looking forward to it.

Dungeon craft 102
Even with the conflict, this series feels like modified version of another hugely popular crafting game. The Dungeon cors is balanced mix of compassion and curiosity as well as innovation. The story is progressing well and it is fun to see what happens next.

Pretty charming, if a little chaotic and unfocused. Adding more characters seems to be grounding Valterra a little so I'm interested to see how Natalie and he come to terms.
