She's focused on her future. His past haunts him.

Rush has spent years trying to move forward from the worst mistake of his life.
A mistake that nearly cost him everything.
A mistake he will never forgive himself for.

The Fury Vipers gave him a second chance when no one else would.
They became his family.
The only thing he refuses to risk.

Then Everly Hayes walks into his world.

She is beautiful, witty, and confident.
She fits in with the Old Ladies as though she has always belonged.
She makes Dublin feel like home.

Everly is in Ireland finishing her postgraduate degree.
Her life is planned, her future is temporary.

She is also completely off limits.

Everly is the daughter of a brother.
She is protected. She is family.

Rush is tasked with watching over her.
Keeping her safe is his responsibility. Wanting her is his mistake.

He crosses the line once and immediately regrets it.
Not because he does not want her, but because he wants her too much.

Rush knows what happens when he lets himself want something he does not deserve.
He has already paid that price once.

But no matter how much distance he puts between them, he cannot stay away.
No matter how hard he tries to do the right thing, his control begins to unravel.

With jealousy brewing, old guilt resurfacing, and temptation closing in, Rush is forced to face the truth he has been avoiding.

He cannot keep punishing himself forever.

The question is whether he can stop long enough to claim the future standing right in front of him.
Or whether his past will cost him the one thing he never planned for.

Everly.

RUSH is the sixth instalment in Brooke Summers’ contemporary, adult FURY VIPERS MC: DUBLIN erotic, MC romance, set in the author’s interconnected Fury Vipers MC. This is twenty-four year old, MC princess Everly Hayes, and twenty-one year old Rush’s story line. RUSH can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. Everly is the daughter of Diesel, VP of the Fury Vipers MC South Carolina.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may triggers for more sensitive readers.

Told from dual first person perspectives (Rush and Everly) and memories from the past, RUSH follows the forbidden romance and relationship between our story line couple. Everly is finishing up her degree in immunology in Dublin Ireland, and her father Diesel, VP of the South Carolina Chapter has demanded Everly’s protection from the Fury Vipers MC: Dublin . Rush has been assigned Everly’s guardian and protector but Rush’s actions are deemed questionable and on the verge of stalking even though Everly herself is determined to prove there is more to their friendship than a job. A call to Diesel finds Rush on the outside looking in but Rush is determined to prove he is worthy of his own happily ever after.

The world building focuses on the demons and memories that continue to haunt our story. line hero. Raised in the child welfare system Rush struggled when threats against his sister forced him to take action in the face of perceived betrayal. Believing himself not worthy, Rush refuses to see beyond the mistakes and violence of his younger years, something Everly is hoping to prove with her heart and her love.

The relationship between Everly and Rush is a forbidden relationship. Everly has been declared off-limits by the Fury Vipers MC but Rush is drawn like a moth to a flame, a moth that is already burning at every opportunity. The $ex scenes are passionate and intimate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

There is another large ensemble cast of colorful and protective secondary and supporting characters including Everly’s father Diesel. We are reintroduced to the club members and their significant others: Bozo, Pyro, Raptor, Cowboy, and Tank, as well as Rush’s friend Ciara.

RUSH is a story of secrets and lies, betrayal and vengeance, heart break and survival, family and friendships, relationships and love. The character driven premise is emotional and edgy; the romance is fated and seductive; the characters are desperate, determined and broken.

Happy to be back in Ireland with the Fury Vipers MC (Dublin).
Rush is a serious young man, he lives permanently under a cloud of guilt over shooting Octavia, he served his time and Octavia and Digger love him like their own son but he never felt fully trusted by the rest of the club like he’d always be that kid who shot an ol ‘ lady . If they didn’t trust him he would have that Kutte on his back and be a fully patched in brother . He transferred to the Dublin chapter 2 yrs ago, he’s loved and respected by brothers and their partners alike but that kid is still there and he’s scared that anger will come out and he won’t be able to control it. He’s not living his best life just existing for the club, the garage … then he sees Everly.
Everly is the daughter of the South Carolina chapters’s VP she’s in Dublin to study and the club has been asked to keep her safe, Rush is given that assignment, one he takes very seriously probably too seriously. It takes about 5 minutes before it’s not a club job but a personal one . He knows he’s playing a risky game here, Pyro made it very clear that she is off limits but then again I’m pretty sure he was given the same warning about Chloe seeing as she’s an Irish mafia princess .
Rush does fight the growing feelings he has for Everly, not easy seeing as she shares them and is less keen on fighting them. She’s grown up in the club with her dad since she was 10 and they lost her mum, encouraged to be strong and know her own mind, to grab what makes her happy with both hands and she wants him, Rush.
Everly is good for him, she sees the man he is, really sees him. He can be himself, let his guard down and relax. She brings him a sense of peace and he brings her a fierce love, they anchor each other.
Obviously it’s not all sunshine and lollipops, he dad is spitting iron filings and his friend is dripping poison in Ev’s ears under the guise of being a caring friend. The club is behind them and a future is in front of them

I was honestly a bit disappointed by this final installment in the series.

The biggest issue for me was the pacing and overall structure of the story. It genuinely felt like the book was divided into three very uneven parts: a short beginning to introduce the setup and characters, an extremely repetitive middle section, and then a rushed ending to wrap everything up.

Unfortunately, the middle portion—which makes up the majority of the book—really dragged for me. It felt like the same conversations, thoughts, and emotional conflicts were repeated over and over again, sometimes almost word for word. Instead of building tension or deepening the relationship, it made the story feel stuck in place for far too long.

Because of that repetition, I found it difficult to stay emotionally invested, even though I liked the premise and could see the potential in Rush and Everly’s dynamic. There were moments I enjoyed, but they were overshadowed by the constant feeling that the story wasn’t really moving forward.

Then, once things finally started progressing, the ending came very quickly. After spending so much time circling the same issues, I would have liked a more developed and satisfying resolution.

Overall, not a terrible read, but definitely my least favorite in the series and unfortunately a disappointing conclusion for me.

I was so happy to read Rush's story. He has had a rough life and it made him doubt himself to much. He's a loner, self-doubter, and a loveable character. I was so happy that Rush found someone that believes in him and is pushing him to open up and find a way to be who he was supposed to be.

Everly is woman that was raised by the VP of the South Carolina Chapter of The Fury Vipers MC. She's strong, smart, and independent. When she finally confronts Rush on his lurking, and talks to him, she finds that she's attracted to him and pushes him to admit why he keeps lurking and following her, other than to watch over her per his president's orders.

I loved these characters and this chapter. Now I'm ready for somemore Fury Vipers MC in a new chapter to get to know and read.

This is the sixth book in the Fury Vipers MC Dublin chapter series. This book was a little different than what I normally get with this author, it was more emotional than action but still a great book. I really enjoyed Rush and Everly's story. Rush had a horrible upbringing and is still struggling with his past. Everly moved to Dublin to go to school so her father, Diesel, asked the Dublin chapter to look after her. Rush has been told she is off limits but he can't help being drawn to her. These two keep going around and around and Everly tells him stop playing games or leave her alone. Boy these two had to fight for their love story but boy was it a fantastic ending. I'm really enjoying this series. Definitely recommend it.

Slow going

So for the first 120 pages its alllllll back and forth "I want u but I cant. I'm dangerous. I'm a bad man. I'm horriable. I'm the devil himself and I'm going to turn u into a puddle of goo cuz I talk in circles and make people bored". I seriously got sooooo bored and annoyed at the run around. I could handle maybe 50 pages but not almost half the book. I'm ADD and if u don't catch and keep my attention and I start thinking that I need to clip my cats nails, then I have a problem. However.. Since I've read every book from Ms. Summers I continued to read when homeboy finally stopped talking in circles and I loved it. We!l not the whole book. Just the second half. First half was killing me.

Fury Viper's MC, Dublin Chapter, book 6 is Rush and Everly's story. It's a fantastic, forbidden love story that will take completely over from the start. My heart hurt so bad for Rush. He's been through so much and really struggled to find his place. Everly comes from the South Carolina Chapter to Dublin. Neither of them expect forever but all it takes is one look and Rush feels things he never experienced before. This couple is absolutely fantastic and so is their journey. Definitely a must read!

Rush has been through the emotional gambit of his past and can't seem to put it behind him. That is until Everly arrives in Dublin to work on her graduate's study and he is assigned to her for protection. He is drawn to her, but his past sits like a cloud overhead. He doesn't want to get too close because he feels he isn't good enough for Everly, but when feelings take control, something gives but will Rush be able to handle the emotional baggage to get a second chance for happiness with Everly. this story had my emotions all over the place as I cheered this couple on to getting their chance for happiness.

I enjoyed the journey Everly and Rush took together. Both come from an MC club: Everly because she is the daughter of the vice-president of the motorcycle club here in the US, and Rush is a member of the Irish MC. Rush is a big man who struggles with guilt and does not dare to express himself for fear of coming across as extreme and violent. Fortunately, there is Everly who can calm him down. They have an attraction and chemistry that make it almost impossible to put the book down as you are drawn into their lives. A page-turner and highly recommended reading.

Please note my rating is based more on how I felt reading compared to other books in this series/by this author.
This book is more an emotional read, focusing more on the main character's growth, rather than the usual drama/action/suspense other books have given us.
Yes it was important, especially for the male main character, but I felt there were a few missed opportunities/ball dropped, especially with 'her' (you'll understand when reading).
That didn't stop it from being a good read/end of this chapter though.
I look forward to seeing what the author comes up with next.

I have been wanting a Rush book ever since meeting him in Digger and Octavias book. I was not disappointed. Even though some parts seemed seemed very repetitive in the beginning, it did not take away from the story at all.

I really loved how Rush finally was able to see how important he is to his family with the Fury Vipers Mc Dublin.

I loved the ending for Everly and Rush, and the visit back to South Carolina was a great intro into the new series!

I enjoyed this story as it was a nice ending to the Dublin chapter. Less heavily involved in MC business and more building of the relationship and the struggles they both faced.
They have challenges from all angles; Rush’s own insecurities, Rush’s friend Ciara stirring the pot, the Club and Everly’s Dad.

There were times I wanted to slap Rush but I do think that final scene with Ciara resolved all my feelings that way!

Looking forward to a new chapter with the next book.

Loved Rush and Everly! I loved these two together, she's an mc vp’s daughter in the US and he's a member in Ireland. He is one serious dude, he's full of guilt and scared to react terribly when he shouldn't. She's the only one that seems to be able to calm him down when he needs it. Another great read in this series.

I really enjoyed this story.

Rush and Everly had great chemistry, and I loved the mix of romance, tension, and biker family drama. Rush’s past added a lot of emotion to the story, and it was nice hearing from some New York’s favourites.

A few bits felt a little repetitive, but overall it was a fantastic read with strong characters and plenty to keep me hooked.

I loved Rush and Everly. We finally, finally got Rush's story after a long time coming. Poor Rush, I loved him. I love getting his full story and seeing how his mind works after meeting him as a young boy in previous books. Everly was just what he needed. Strong willed yet so compassionate. She was the perfect match for Rush. I'm so happy for this book and it was well worth the wait.

Rush and Everly’s story has her coming to Ireland from another MC brother’s club. He is tasked to watch over her and he does while trying to fight his feelings. He has made a mistake and paid for it but he still feels like the kids he was. But Everly really sees him. You get the drama, suspense and chemistry.

Rush has been asked to watch out for Diesels daughter Everly whilst she finishes her studies.
However he never expected the effect she had on him.
Everly has made her move now its up to Rush to put his past behind him and move forward.
Not everyone is happy and some are out to cause trouble.

Rush is struggling with his past. So when he catches feelings for Everly, he doesn’t trust himself. Plus she’s supposed to be off limits. What will he do? You’ll have to read to find out!

This story was a little different. More emotional than action packed but I really enjoyed it.

Rush and Everly are destined. It takes Rush a bit to figure out that's ok and he's enough. Their story is a slow burn and I enjoyed it very much.
