Tedd has twenty-four hours to save humanity. Humanity would prefer someone else.

The nukes have already launched, the world is already ending, and somehow that's not even today's biggest problem.

With civilisation on the brink and the Manager's Arctic fortress as the last obstacle between humanity and extinction, Tedd, ArachnoBot, and a ragtag team storm the coldest, most heavily defended place on earth.

Guarded by unseen technologies and things that shouldn't exist, this mission has only one guarantee — someone isn't coming back.

Excellent. Now we need the new series please

There's nothing I can write here that isn't a spoiler so I'm just going to say it's more of the same humourous writing with the rapport between all the characters, particularly Tedd and Rachno.

A couple of obligatory quotes to highlight the above:
"It’s time you realized not everything can be explained through logic and reasoning. There are things beyond the physical and beyond the mental that can’t be truly explained.” “Yes, Tedd. They are called bs.”

"Us machines have really mastered the art of useful sleep. Unlike humans, we can wake at a moment’s notice and be fully operational. No stretching, coffee, or morning dump required for us to fire on all cylinders."

I enjoyed this entire series. I liked that it was split into novellas, more or less. Easy to consume. As a non-visualizer (I have aphantasia), books with a lot of dialogue and minimal description are definitely my jam. Too much description is noise. Experiencing Tedd's dystopian adventures though so much dialogue made this series a unique and interesting experience for me. I'll definitely be reading the next series. Kudos, Michael Cheney. Well done 👏🏼

fun read

It was a fun read, that doesnt take robot wars and the apocalypse too seriously. Recommend it to someone who likes to read to escape, and not think too much about the real world.

Could have been a single book.

Maybe convenient into 2 without removing any content. I still enjoyed the overall story and gave each book 5 stars but each one felt like a long tv episode.

Good!

This series really got me hooked! A real page turner, non-stop action, full of funny dark humour, I specially liked the ranter between the characters and really loved the two main protagonists. I hope there will be more adventures for them.

Excellent

Fun series... I'll read more later... But in the meantime I need to move on. I've enjoyed very much the fun of this series. It's a relief to get away from the serious blood and guts/death and destruction of others. So bye for now. 🙂

Energetic Series

The seven books in this series kept the action moving. The bad news is each book had to be read to get the whole story completed.

I was pretty sure that this was the end of the story. It would actually make a great ending. But it seems like there might be more to it.

Pulitzer Prize winner?

Nope. Entertaining and funny? Hell yeah! A great series with each book not too long to find you losing interest in the characters and plot.

enjoyed the story

Fun quick read. The books break up the story into manageable reads when you want an entertaining distraction. I enjoyed them.
