There are a few books that I actually rate five stars. I am happy to give this book a five star review. It was long anticipated and did not disappoint whatsoever. It was full of action. It was full of world building, and it did something that I knew they had in them, but I didn’t think they had the ball to pull off, but they did it anyways I was absolutely ripped to shreds when it came to light but I’m so happy I stuck with it because the payoff oh my goodness it was beautiful. I cannot wait for the next book. Happy reader.

I forgot
I’ve read a lot of this on the other site. But I had forgotten a pretty important detail, so it snuck up on me.
It’s unusual for many writers to k!ll off an important character. Most of the ones lost in this series were side characters who had long ceased to be relevant. The one lost here, and for such a brutal reason…wow.
I’m staying with it through the end.

A great book with a surprising ending
Without going into spoilers, this book is more of what we all enjoy from Randidly. The story is cohesive and enjoyable, though the final act will certainly stick with many readers.

Afterthought
The vast majority of this book was thoroughly enjoyed. However, the final 10% was such a travesty it almost completely upended everything prior. Mainly due to the how it seems the decision to remove a character of their depth was an afterthought.

The long waited culmination is finally here
All of Randidly's hard work finally comes to a head as he powers up like crazy and discovers some of the hidden history of the system.

This series is incredible. Noret manages to make the books feel like huge adventures and each time I finish a book I feel like Ive been part of randidly's life. Onto the next!!!

While I still do like this series I will admit it's harder to get back in the flow. There is a lot going on, and it is tough to get the memory back into the going on's. Still looking forward to reading the next books for now, but wondering if that drive will last through a couple more.
