I found Tripswitch exciting, fast paced engaging. It was very exciting and i quite often found myself gripping the book in desperation for something good to happen. Tripswitch is about a group of three girls who are essentaily being held captive by Aunt Laureene. Aunt Laureene is a very powerful witch who uses the three girls as experiments.
I haven't read this book in a while but what i remember of it, is that I didn't want to put it down and I stayed up very late reading it.

I remember seeing this book in the bookstore when i was young and desperately wanted it. But there was no way i could ask my mother to pay for a new book when we had a perfectly good library!

Reading it as an adult I know that young girl i used to be would have devoured this book over and over again.

But I am not that girl. As well written as this is please dont be fooled. They are rescued by a 'man'.

Sigh.

The premise is intriguing and I would love to see this written again now!

For now I will stick to the better set of witches with Blonde, Dark and Red Hair... Now just where is my Hocus Pocus Dvd.....

A little walk down memory lane with a book from my childhood that I have spent years trying to find again.
I must say Andrews character annoyed the absolute shite out of me, I have 0 time for his attitude even though it was clearly a front for insecurity, just no.
Other than that I adored getting to read this again - like a wee spot of time travelling 💖

Doesn’t hold up as well as “Prudence M” I’m afraid. But still a twisty tail of three cousins being controlled by their dastardly, witchy aunt, who is drawing on their power for nefarious purposes. I remember this chiefly from the cover of my childhood, which showed the hair of the cousins (red, black & blonde) braided together.

I read this as an adolescent and I still remember it so that says something. Probably one of my earliest Urban Fantasy reads. A true Found Family story, suspenseful and full of magic the three teenage girls struggle to understand. I read it with another cover and I can picture that too.

Good as a tweens/young teen read. It does take a bit of effort to get into reading it but the pace does increase 1/3 or so into the book.

Great childrens book. Is there a movie? I'd love to see a movie of this. Like Roald Dahl's The Witches ...

another favorite, another book for my wishlist, I read this one multiple times as a tween and wished that there had been other novels starring these 3 cousins and their magical abilities
