omg this took me sooo long to actually finish reading and lwk got into a slump.. oof (i think it's more of a me problem rather than the book?) but at the same time it felt like nothing was really happening.. im genuinely so sad that this book didn't deliver for me cuz i had such high expectations coming into it!!
i loved the insta love but i kinda just wanted more from them? but what i loved the brat x brat in the beginning, and their banter was genuinely sooo good!! but once mona found out casper was the one behind the mask, it's like her entire personality changes? idk i was maybe expecting a bit more from her since she's always at casper's throat when he's not wearing his mask. then kinda just accepts that he's behind it without like kicking his ass, iykwim
anyways i loved the halloween spooky vibes that this book was giving!

I loooooved Your Masked Valentine, so I knew I would love Your Masked Haunting! Of course I enjoyed Casper and Mona’s love story and the way he cares for her, but my favorite parts were when the sinners craft club got together! And we have two new members!? I’m so excited for extra books in this series instead of just three! If Pru writes a dark rom com, I’m definitely going to read it!

I think the biggest problem for me with this one is that it felt WAY too similar to the first book with Bates and Serena. I actually really liked the first book, so going into this one I was hoping we'd get something that felt a little different, but we basically got the mask, the cards, the camera stalking… all of it again. I would have liked a little more variation in the way Casper was stalking Mona because after reading the first book, a lot of it felt very familiar.
I did like Mona and Casper, and I thought the haunted house setting was fun, but there were a few things that just didn't work for me. One of the biggest was when Mona finally realizes that her masked boyfriend is Casper. I was expecting SOME kind of reaction because she's been pretty spicy and bold in any interaction with Casper where he wasnt the masked man. And then she finds out they're the same person and it was basically just…oh, ok. I was like, wait… THAT'S IT?! 😂 Maybe I needed a little more shock, confusion, or even just a *what the actual fuck have I been doing moment.
We also get introduced to some new characters, specifically two of the guys' new teammates, and honestly that whole introduction and the way their relationship developed just felt very high school girl to me. There was a LOT of giggling and some pretty childish behavior from grown ass men, and I don't know… it just didn't really work for me. It actually pulled me out of the story a few times.
Then there was the whole secondary "haunting" plot toward the end, which I found pretty confusing. We don't really get enough information about what's happening until much later, so for a good chunk of the book I was just sitting there like…ok, but what exactly is going on here? Once everything finally came together, it made more sense, but I think the way it was revealed left me feeling a little disconnected from that part of the story.
The spice was a solid for me, and I did enjoy the chemistry between Mona and Casper. I also liked the creepy atmosphere and the whole haunted house setting. There were definitely things I enjoyed about this book, which is why I still landed at 3.5 stars, but overall it just didn't hit for me the way the first book did.
I think that's probably the biggest takeaway for me. It wasn't bad, it just felt too similar to Bates and Serena's story while also not giving me quite enough of its own thing to really make it stand out.
I'm still invested in the series though, because now I'm really hoping the next book is Kol's.

“Am I haunting you like you’re haunting me?”
Pru Schuyler strikes again in the dark romcom world! I ATE THIS BOOK UP. Seriously, Casper? Perfectly unhinged and hopelessly head over skates obsessed with his ‘Scaredy Cat’!
“You feel like heaven, bound in the filthiest sin,”
This man was tall, BLONDE and totally swoon worthy, even in all his questionable ways. 😂
Mona was a my favorite type of FMC, a black cat! She strikes first and asks questions later. The world and people in general let her down so many times so she does not trust easy. I loved getting to see her slowly open up to her masked man & others. Mona and Casper just connect on such a deep level.
“Nothing compares to the things we do together. I mean it, Mona. Hockey is better with you. Life is better with you. Everything is better with you.”
Casper’s family? LITERAL ANGELS. I’m so happy Mona finally got all the love and support she needed.
“You’re my home, Cas.”
The spice in this book is my favorite kind; wildly hot and deliciously unexpected. I did not know that my soul needed a primal chase scene where a hot masked pro hockey player stalks her through a haunted house, but it definitely did! Omg, the author knows how to write spice! These two were feral for each other and she didn’t even know who he truly was.
“Go ahead and scream, baby. Let them think this place is really haunted.”
The best part of this story is the mysterious backstory of the house. It was spooky and I was on the edge of my seat. I honestly was HOOKED! I need Pru to write more romantic suspense plot lines because she did a great job!
“You’re not changing yourself to fit into my world, Mona. I’ll change the world to fit to you.”
Our band of misfit hockey players grew in this book by two and I LOVED their antics! Remember y’all, “NO ONE TALKS ABOUT CRAFT CLUB!”
“Take whatever you want from me. Use me, please … because I want you to. I’m choosing you.”
I need anyone to read this dark romcom asap!

Give me a masked man, a haunted house, and a little Halloween chaos, and I’m already invested.
The spooky atmosphere was such a fun part of this story, but Casper and Mona were definitely the reason I kept turning pages. Their chemistry was intense, their banter was fun, and the whole mysterious masked-man situation had me completely hooked.
Casper was absolutely gone for Mona, and I had so much fun watching that obsession turn into genuine care. He noticed the little things about her and accepted her exactly as she was, which made his possessive side surprisingly sweet. Mona took a little time to grow on me, but I ended up really liking how independent and resilient she was. Together, they were such a wonderfully chaotic match.
I also loved getting more of the Sinners Craft Club and that found-family energy around them. Between the masks, creepy house, secret identity, spicy moments, and all the little surprises, this was such an easy book to sink into.
It had exactly the kind of spooky-season energy I wanted, and I’m definitely staying invested in this series.

I have been waiting on this book since it was announced! And let me tell you- IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! Casper and his friends are at it again, Craft Club- IYKYK - lol he falls for a beautiful, sassy, bratty Mona. And she wants No Parts! lol and she expresses to him repeatedly. It’s epic !
Little does she know, while living in a haunted mansion, he’s her Masked Haunting, purple mask and All ! And it gives you EVERYTHING, suspense, spice, banter and all the adorable moments he shows up for her time and time again. It was epically delicious, as we also get sneak peaks into Bates, Kol and some new friends.
This book was all parts haunting- and delicious !

It all starts when Casper, being the Halloween loving man that he is, buys a house rumored to be crawling with ghosts. He turns it into a haunted attraction for the spooky season, and chaos ensues.
Mona, on the other hand, is unemployed, has a troubled past, and is going through a pretty rough time. She ends up getting a job at the haunted house, painting cute little faces on kids.
It doesn’t take long for her to realize that something is off about the place and that someone is keeping a very close eye on her. The signature of his love letters? Your Masked Haunting! Oops! But wait… is someone actually stalking her, or are the ghosts just feeling extra clingy?
Okay, hear me out. The insta love was a little too much for me. I really wanted the book to give me a reason to believe in their connection, because I never quite understood why Mona became the love of Casper’s life. I wish their relationship had been developed a little more! And then there’s Mona finding out who he is. Like… girl? You’d think she’d be at least a little freaked out, maybe get a bit angry, with all the hairs on the back of her neck standing up. But nope! Then again, the girl just wanted someone to hold on to and to finally experience the love that had been missing from her life. So, I get it.
I won’t lie, though. I really enjoyed the mystery, and the spice? Chef’s kiss! 🌶️ Our masked man DELIVERS. He loves hard, loves deeply, and is completely drunk on love.

So I was so happy to receive this copy, because I had the opportunity with the first to discover a beautiful series as this. Your masked haunting from the first page had the capacity to caputure me and let me in it's rabbit hole..
I loved so much Casper as a male character and Mona as a female character. The chemistry, the intensity were so enduring and captivating that at one point I was so deep in reading that I was surprised that the book was so near to an end.
I loved so much the dynamics and the setting: Halloween, autumn vibes are my favorite so the hauting house as a setting was so PERFECT.
Also the little thing that happens was so intentening and honestly I didn't expect it.

3.5 This is a great spooky season read. Stalking, masked men, haunted house, and all the Halloween vibes! It was fast-paced with lots of swoon and spice.
Casper is a man obsessed, and Mona is just as obsessed as he is. I liked how sassy and strong she was….my fave! I would’ve liked a little more about her childhood and family life.

when i say i need casper biblically…i mean i need him biblically. listen, there is a very short list of blonde mmc’s that i will defend, and casper has made his way onto said list.
casper and mona’s first meeting started off a bit rocky, and i was definitely a little apprehensive about mona at the start, but i ended up so in love with her by the end. the way these two characters were so different from each other is what drew me to them the most. they met each other line for line every time, and their banter and chemistry had me on my knees, i swear.
casper was down horrendously for mona from the beginning, and he kept that energy consistently throughout the book, and i fell even harder for him with every page i read. one of my favourite things about him was the fact that he loved mona exactly the way she was and refused to let her change for anyone, even his own family. and i mean, his attention to detail is impeccable, the way he paid attention to her? i was melting. mona, like i said, it took me a bit to warm up to her, but i was truly obsessed with her by the end of the book. she’s gorgeous, smart, independent, and made a lonesome spider living in her walls her pet— she’s iconic. her past and her trauma are important to her character arc and certain things in the book, which i was glad to see was explored a little bit.

casper was down horrendously for mona from the beginning, and he kept that energy consistently throughout the book, and i fell even harder for him with every page i read. one of my favourite things about him was the fact that he loved mona exactly the way she was and refused to let her change for anyone, even his own family. and i mean, his attention to detail is impeccable, the way he paid attention to her? i was melting. mona, like i said, it took me a bit to warm up to her, but i was truly obsessed with her by the end of the book. she’s gorgeous, smart, independent, and made a lonesome spider living in her walls her pet— she’s iconic. her past and her trauma are important to her character arc and certain things in the book, which i was glad to see was explored a little bit.
from the handmade cards to the texts to the camera stalking, i was so freaking hooked by this one. i’m literally shaking in excitement for the next one!

This was a spooky, unhinged insta-love romance that will get you in the mood for all things Halloween. Perfect for those that are looking to jump into all the fun fall vibes. If the masked Hero who is totally gone for his mystery girl is your jam, this one will definitely be enjoyed.
Casper and his rowdy friend group were cute, if a little OTT but they get things done, IYKYK!
Our heroine Mona is a snarky, independent girl who's fallen on hard times pretty much her whole life. She's always looking for the other shoe to drop, until she gets hired on at the supposed haunted Schrader House. Not only does she find an unexpected safe place within the mysterious walls of the house but she meets her masked admirer.
The banter and heat between our two MCs was top tier. Their relationship is definitely unconventional but it works for them and it was a fun little adventure to see them fall in love without knowing the outside world's views or opinions.
My favorite part hands down, has to be the Ghostface chase at the end. Perfection!

This was such a fun read to kick off my spooky season TBR!! Its the perfect mix of dark romance and swoony hockey players for the girlies who want a touch of darkness with their hunky book boyfriends.
Mona and Casper were so much fun! I loved that so much care was put into Monas backstory. It made her so strong and I just wanted to give her a hug! The spice in this series never fails to make me blush 🥵🤭 Casper is a WHOLE MAN and he and his dirty mouth can chase me through a haunted house in his mask any damn time 😮💨 and I never thought I would say I loved a spider but miss Penelope stole my heart.
The Schrader House backstory was genuinely so spooky and made me all jumpy in the best way! And the way the story all tied together was perfect!
I do wish we had seen a little more of the beginning of the story when Casper first started stalking Mona rather than picking up when shes already established she has a stalker who brings her gifts, but the story was still super enjoyable and a great quick and easy read! I love this found family friend group so much and I am LOVING the new introductions made 👀🤭 We also may have gotten glimpse into what could be next for these Sinners and I NEED MORE ASAP!!!!!

Your Masked Haunting was such a fun ride! I read Your Masked Valentine earlier this year and definitely enjoyed it. It had all the things I like about a stalker rom-com, but this one was even better.
Casper and Mona were such a great duo and worked so well together. Casper had it down bad, while Mona was more than happy to go along for the ride once she embraced what was happening between them. Mona was also such a refreshing FMC. She had her own trauma and issues, but they never completely defined her character. She was strong and independent without being written as someone who refused help just to prove she could do everything herself. I loved that she could accept Casper helping her while still remaining completely her own person.
It was also really nice watching both of them grow throughout the book. Casper was incredibly considerate of what Mona had been through, which made their relationship work for me even with all the stalking and possessive craziness surrounding it.
I had such an enjoyable time reading this. It was fun, quirky, spicy and had exactly the kind of energy I want from this series. I really hope Pru keeps this same energy going forward because this was easily my favourite of the two so far.

Honestly though, where can I find my own Casper Ridley? 😍
The way he loves Mona is like no other and yes, he pushes the boundaries a little BUT he doesn't go too far (most times, unless he has her consent). He's RESPECTFUL ! Casper is the greenest red flag 🚩💚 imo (though I thought Bates was bad with the hidden cameras, Casper is worse in that regard 😂)
He just wants to get the girl and keep her happy. And the way he handled her every time she was being a brat after their first encounter 🤣 those two are made for each other because she's just as insane as he is 💜💜🤣
I loved how once Mona found Penelope 🕷️🕸️ Casper always made sure Penelope was where Mona could see her (even got an enclosure for her 🥰) (⚠️TW if you don't like spiders but Pen is such a cute jumping spider , and I'm not a fan of spiders myself 😅). Her emotional support spider 🥰🕷️
Casper is Mona's knight in a purple leather mask 😈💜 they're it for each other and I'm so there for it all, with so many moments between them that I just loved. From the sweet and cuddly to the spicy and steamy. In addition, there were parts that made me cackle and belly laugh 🤣🤣
Finally, I loved how previous characters, like Bates & Serena, as well as new ones showed up in their story. And there was so much more!

I absolutely LOVED this book! 🖤🎃 Casper and Mona were everything, and I had so much fun watching their relationship unfold.
The interactions between them were SO good, especially the face-painting scene when Casper got something completely different from what he asked for. I was laughing so hard. 😂 And their texts??? “Spooky Boy” and “Scaredy-Cat” had me OBSESSED.
Casper was absolutely unhinged, but I loved every second of it. The way he became instantly fascinated with Mona and started following her around was honestly hilarious. And once Mona figured out who was behind the mask, their back-and-forth became even better. These two are seriously dark soulmates. 🖤
I loved the whole spooky atmosphere too. The Halloween setting, haunted house, masks, and creepy vibes were PERFECT. 👻🎃
Mona and Casper may seem like complete opposites, but they fit together so beautifully. I loved watching Mona slowly let Casper in, while he showed her nothing but care, protection, and devotion.
And honestly, if my man isn’t part of the Sinners Craft Club, I don’t want him. 😭 This was such a fun, haunting read, and I already miss these two!

Casper is a little less psycho than Bates and he respects Mona's boundaries that was really cute. he does everything after he takes her consent. (stalking and hidden cameras doesn't count) if it was irl i would definitely freak out not that i support this however in the book fmc never had any problem with it mostly she was enjoying it so i enjoyed it as well.
one thing is similiar to the first book, he's hiding his identity being a masked man. and he's chasing her inside the haunted house that he owns where she's hiding cuz she doesn't have a place to live. I absolutely love this book! It is amazing. I love the moments when Casper and Mona interact with each other when Casper was not wearing a mask. Mona was definitely giving hate to love vibes with Casper. When Casper was sitting while Mona did face painting on him and let's just say it was not what he asked for. I laughed so hard. You know when I was not laughing, when Casper and Mona were with each other when he was wearing his mask.

The texts between then are gold. The nicknames "Spooky Boy and Scaredy-Cat". If my guy is not part of the Sinners Craft Club, then, I don't want him. This is one haunted house that I would not mind inhabiting and being visited by my own masked man. This book is a haunting, good time! Must read.

I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did, the pacing of the book was good and I was hooked throughout the book. I love both the fmc and mmc!! Mona's backstory through family hardships and Caspers experience of being understood for his family background and wealth.
Casper was perfectly unhinged and head over heels for Mona. He yearned for her, and cared not only for her but also Penelope.
I would def recommend this book to someone who enjoys dark romance.

4.5 Stars--I loved Mona so much!! Her black cat energy was so much fun and I couldn't get enough of her. And Casper, that man knows how to make a girl feel safe and wanted, but lets face it, this was all about Mona. Her past was filled with trauma but as each day passes, she heals herself, not only on her own but with the help of Casper. The twist towards the end had me holding my breath, I was not anticipating that to happen. This is the perfect spooky halloween dark romcom to read for the season with its own haunted house!

Casper was crazy and wild character in this but I absolutely loved it. When he saw Mona came with the haunted house he bought, he was immediately taken by her. The way he stalked her was hilarious. I loved the Halloween, the haunted house and spooky. And of course Casper and Mona. These two were awesome together once she figured out who was watching her. Loved the back and forth between them.
