i listened to the audiobook, which is well-narrated by Kevin R. Free (who you may know from the Murderbot series), definitely worth the experience!
this book is the culmination of the What If.. novels. i enjoyed the entire series and was looking forward to the release of this book and I wasn't disappointed, truly a treat to listen to! the vibes of all previous books are woven together expertly, making for a nice blend between lore, action and personal journeys. it's difficult to say more without revealing spoilers, but if you enjoyed the previous novels I'd definitely recommend this!
I'm going to check out the author's other works, tying together a franchise series written by several authors is no small feat, and DaVaun Sanders certainly rose to the challenge.
