Knotted by the Dragon Prince: A Cozy Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
A cozy Omegaverse romance with soft Alpha devotion, bakery warmth, and slow-burn heat.

Amara Brooks likes her life quiet.
A curvy, kind, unmated Omega, she spends her days tucked away in a small-city library, surrounded by books and routine. After her cousin stole her Alpha years ago—and her perfectionist mother never quite stopped pushing—Amara has learned to keep her world small.

Her favorite comfort?
Morning pastries and evening coffee from the cozy bakery down the block.

Kael is just the baker with the gentle smile and flour-dusted hands.
The one who remembers her order.
The one who slips her extra pastries “by accident.”
The one who watches her read like she’s the best story he’s ever known.

What Amara doesn’t realize is that Kael Solas belongs to an ancient dragon-blood Alpha pack, a powerful lineage hidden in plain sight. The youngest heir of a wealthy, influential family, Kael avoids the spotlight at all costs, choosing ovens and early mornings over galas and expectations.

He fell for Amara quietly.
Her scent calms something deep in his blood.
Her softness steadies instincts he’s been taught to control.
But Kael keeps his distance, afraid to overwhelm her… and afraid she’ll see his name before she ever sees him.

Everything changes when Amara is forced to attend an elegant Solas family gala with her jealous cousin and the Alpha who once rejected her. Under glittering lights, the shy baker steps forward, and Amara realizes the man who’s been comforting her with pastries and patience is a dragon prince.

As her heat begins to rise and old insecurities resurface, Kael proves he isn’t the kind of Alpha who takes. He’s the kind who waits. Who soothes instead of commands. Who builds safety through warmth, scent, and steady hands.

In a nest made of books, blankets, and fresh bread, their bond deepens, until Kael’s hidden dragon scales glow softly beneath his skin, marking a mating built on choice, devotion, and trust.

Because for Kael, bonding isn’t about power.
It’s about being chosen.
And for Amara, love finally feels like home.

Whewwwww this was soooo disappointing to me. Because I was really looking forward to it but. I should have just bypassed this book when I saw slow burn, sweet and cozy. I can deal with a slow burn when the payoff is actually worth it but this was not worth it because there was no detail this this was damn near closed door spice. on top of that the constant I need to tell her I'm royalty but I can't because I'm scared piss me off so much. This book does not match the vibes of the previous books at all.

Boring.....

Found this book quite boring in comparison to the rest of the series....and very tame!
Most read for the heat between the main characters but this was seriously lacking! I hope the rest of the books are better.....

2 years ago, Kael made the decision to open up his own Bakery in a small town, away from the spot light that his family name brings. Due to a bad experience with an ex, he decides to hide his true identity so that no one can use him for his status or wealth ever again.
His plan was simple, start a life away from his family, open a bakery and make something of himself. What he never planned for was to become attached to a certain Omega who walked into his bakery 6 months ago.

Amara lives most of her days working in the library, away from the public eye. After her cousin stole her boyfriend a couple of years ago, she built up her walls so that no one could ever hurt her again. 6 months ago, she stumbled upon a small bakery and decided to go inside. There she meets Kael, the baker with the gentle smile, flour dusted hands and a scent that comforts her on her best and worst days.

This was a sweet and simple story 😊 Both MC's have been crushing on each other for 6 months but neither of them have the courage to openly admit it. Amara's afraid that Kael will realise that she's not worth the trouble and Kael's afraid that once Amara finds out about his Prince status, she'll either use him or leave him. Luckily for both of them, Kael's family was 100% on board in helping them come together.

"Kael, this woman has been coming to your bakery every single morning for six months.
Six months.
She doesn't know you're from an old royal family. She doesn't know about the money or the family name or any of it. And she still shows up, every day, for you."
"For the pastries," I muttered.
"For you," she insisted. "Do you really think she's coming back day after day for honey-ember tarts? She coming back because of the man who makes them. The man who remembers her order. The man who notices when she's having a rough day. The man who told her she was everything."

This story ends with a HEA for this couple 🐉💕 Up next is “Knotted By Her Fated Mates”, featuring Naomi, Kellan and Rowan. A MMF Omegaverse Romance 😊

Extraordinarily Cute

Amara and Kael have a love that is too cute for words. The story was very beautiful and Amaya Black did an exceptional job. I gave my rating, because at a couple of times the MMC was called Karl instead of Kael. The story is itself was very beautiful, and I love the fact that each of them loved each other, but both were too scared to admit it, but for different reasons. I loved that Kael didn’t think Amara would accept him for who he was and would only like the title and I like the fact that Amara thought that Kael wouldn’t think she was enough. I like the fact that in the end, they were both forced to admit that they each always loved each other and realize that they were meant to be together all along. I also loved when Lila realize that in the end, Amara got the better man. This was a well written story, despite the grammatical errors. This book showed that true love is always meant to be.

Coffee Black.. no Sugar But still the Sweetest Story!

This story was just the sweetest in every way. I love the way they both yearn for each other for such a long time and was not sure how to approach to each other. There was so much doubt because of past scars, which is understandable. Play it safe but that can be a downfall. I love how his family was rooting for him. I had some respect for mom when she encouraged her to dress for him not knowing about him entirely. ( I still don’t like how she moved on other things when it came to her daughter, not cool) Everything about these two was just innocent and wholesome. I love the brothers banter. That was fun. And the pastries, the descriptions had my mouth watering. This story was just lovely. I would love to read stories about the brothers. Especially about Damon, the oldest finding his mate. Bravo!!!!

Kael and Amara were consumed by their own insecurities from their previous relationship. When all is revealed at the ball they are forced to confront their feelings for one another. The sex scenes were basic and could have been excluded in my opinion. However their chemistry was genuine. I am glad they stayed true to their story and continued their custom of meeting at his bakery.

Sadly, there were some huge editing mistakes that took away from the story. Often, the descriptions of the environment in Kael and Amara pov matched which does show how perfect they are for each other but also felt super repetitive. In addition, there were contradicting stories between them with one pov stating something wildly different than the other. Nevertheless, it was a quick and easy read!

Enchanting

What a entertaining and lovely story. This is amazing with captivating characters that are fated mates, Kael and Amara relationship starts with both of them being shy with each other but their passion slowly burns up the pages. I really enjoy this author's work and I can definitely say that I enjoyed this story. In this story the main characters are outstanding. Plus there is lots of emotions that makes it off the chart even though their affair was unbelievable. There is parts that will bring a smile to your eyes, it's so enjoyable. Even the secondary characters are captivating There are quite a few things that makes this story great it's a absolutely pleasure to read .

This was a genuine chore to read. I'd missed the "cozy" descriptor, which I guess means no spice? I don't mind that at all but once I accepted that this would be a spice-less book, I kept waiting for the story to justify all the melodrama Kael was having and it just wasn't there. Both characters were thinly drawn and a tad boring - which is a bit sad because there was some potential there. And Kael's reasons for not telling the truth after he'd spent all those months conversing with and getting to know Amara just didn't feel genuine or justified. I also think the characters kept having the same conversation. I enjoy the author the other times I've encountered them so I'll just appreciate the effort to dabble in something different, which is always a great thing for a writer to do.

Just what I needed.

I’ve been reading some crazy, high energy stories lately and needed a palette cleanser. This was just the ticket. Amara, a librarian and Kael, a baker who’s also a secret prince meet cute at his bakery. The fall for each other over baked goods, coffee with loads of yearning. Theirs is a super sweet and short love story with a tiny bit of drama and a pinch of spice. Enjoy!

Fabulous read

The other books before this one made you want to have sex, this one had me smiling. Warm feelings and smiling while reading this giving my body a great feeling on the inside. I would read this one over and over again, it describes how I feel. I’ve been in a relationship where I was not appreciated, and Kael & Amara both were hesitant when it came to someone loving them or accepting them as they were.

I really enjoyed this book!

Kael is a alpha dragon prince but he is just a humble baker, owning and running his small bakery that Amara visits every day. Kael loves Amara from afar, awaiting her visit very morning and afternoon. He bakes things that she loves and perfects them just for her, but Amara doesn't know he's the prince...

What the fuck did I just read? This book was not good. For a novella I do not understand why the author was repeating the same information over and over again. It is a novella, so you don't have much to time to give the reader information. Repeating things over and over means the story is so poorly thought out. It's barely even a story at this point. FYI - the dragon is a lil bitch.

Enjoyed the MMC and FMC characters in this Omegaverse book. Ms. Black did a great job in telling this story of the MMC wanted to be loved for himself and not his title. We all have a family member that think they are better than you through their words and actions. Great Job Ms. Black.

A quick read that is everything you need to fall in love with love. Simply beautiful. A couple of slight grammar errors, but nothing that was too distracting. I rarely submit reviews. Great job Ms. Amaya!

Cute shy MCs

This was a cute story of a baker and a librarian. Both very shy and hurt before so it took them awhile to realize they are mates. Warning for some phatphobic language and weight pressure but our MC handles it well.

Kudos Amaya

Very well written. 💓💓💓ed the angst and the unspoken displays of love between Kael and Amara. An extended epilogue would have been a 🍒 on top of the cake.

Sugar Sweet

An excellent quick read, but in the timeframe one gets to know the characters. Certainly worth one’s time and can be enjoyed with coffee black no sugar.
