I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review Well… The prologue bored me. Next, some ne’re do well got up late, to arrive late at a restaurant because he couldn’t afford a car or taxi fare to meet with his sister for lunch. That didn’t break the boredom. I felt no connection or sympathy for the main character.
Nothing caught my attention until chapter 3.
So why not pitch the book?
I promised a review, so I kept reading After chapter 3, it gets interesting.
So, my advice Is, Skim the first 2 ½ chapters. Then decide.
