A fairly short book but it packed a punch! Who doesn't love a secret baby from a one night stand romance, especially when the father is a mix of dark deliciousness. Nick is keeping his identity from his friends, a hitman for his dad, he wants to end his dad who is evil and he finally has his chance!
He has also been consumed by a one night stand two years prior. Never forgetting the mystery woman.
When Nick and Lilly meet after unexpected circumstances through a mutual friend the chemistry that drew them together ignites again. Shock at learning that he now has a daughter, Nick vows to keep them both safe after learning they are in danger.
Fluid writing , easy to read and addictive. The story held my attention, lots of action, heat and tense moments. All in all I totally recommend. I will look up more books by A. Greene as she has a talent for writing, the storylines are enjoyable making the reader wanting more!

I absolutely loved this book. Nick is such an amazing guy. Trying to get his dad who is true evil. Pretending to his friends who he really is. Deep down he’s so caring and protective with those he loves. I love how he and Lilly found their way back to each other with a wonderful surprise there as well. Nick definitely went into Alpha protective mode. I was hooked beginning to end.
I’ve been reading A. Greene’s book since her very first book Breaking Emilee. Which was fantastic. I love her writing style. Her characters show a lot of emotions that you feel while reading her books. She doesn’t shy away from the heavy stuff. She’s definitely one of my most favourite authors. Can’t wait for her next book!!!
