The quest of a lifetime. A prophecy unfolding. A cranky, old warlock and a golden warrior with a cold heart. Amongst it all, there was Sif. And it all started because of a book. A book about long-lost mythical creatures. A book about dragons.
In a world of kings and queens, deities and divines, and magical beings of flesh, fur, and scales, Sif Lanthor has always prided herself on the fact she is just a girl. Unfortunately, she can no long cling to that lie.
As the daughter of a renowned warrior, Sif always knew the day would come where she would receive news that he had fallen. When the day finally does arrive, however, Sif isn't prepared to come face-to-face with an ancient warlock. With him, comes the truth - her father has not passed, but has instead been kdinapped by their kingdoms greatest threat. Sif will stop at nothing to rescue him, even if that means losing herself in the process.
As an ancient prophecy starts to unravel, Sif has to decide whether or not she will become what she has always been destined to be. Because it's not just those around her who start to depend on her, but a long-lost species that were once known as dragons.
""Predators much larger than I used to hunt in these woods. Well, truthfully, that depended on who you asked. I believed it. I believed that they once dominated the skies, that they dwelled within the ocean depths, that they owned every inch of this forest. Others, not so much. It didn’t really matter at the end of the day. Because one thing was for sure – dragons didn’t exist anymore."
