The dates are set, and the crew is ready to take center stage. Tavian Brooks is Indigo Records’ hottest artist, and his After Midnight tour is going to be a time to remember. With the small details falling into place, there’s one thing missing from his show . . . an artistic muse. That’s until his creative director comes across something that could shake the scene up a bit.
Piarry Carter is a professional dancer who has found her own lane in the world of dance. With accolades to back her name, there’s no surprise that Tavian has an interest in her joining his team. With the job of a lifetime given to her, Piarry’s rise to fame is noticeable, but at what cost?
A great show is what they create, but a romance is something that’s brewing backstage. Can this work relationship be just that, or can a road affair become something great? The R&B prince has just met his match with Thee Hood Ballerina.
I’m really liking this author’s writing style. Her stories just feel good to me and this one was another great story that had me locked in from the first page.
I loved Piarry and Tavian together. Their vibe and energy wears organic. They fed off each other and I could picture their dance routines and how their chemistry could be felt beyond the stage. They truly understood each other and were a perfect match. This story had very minimal drama outside of Tavian putting his foot in his mouth from saying things he didn’t mean thinking he was protecting Piarry and my girl made him stand on what he said. I appreciated Tavian making his declaration of love as public as his denial and no longer allowing public opinion to keep him from loving his girl out loud.
I’m looking forward to the next story from this author.
This book was so sensual. The fire and ignited passion was enough to keep my interests from page one!! Piarry and Tavian had an amazing chemistry that was hard to ignore on and off stage. The lines between personal and professional and what’s real and what’s not kept things interesting throughout the pages of this well written piece. Eventually learning to choose yourself and not be so concerned with the thoughts and feelings of others proved to be the best mantra for Tavian and Piarry. In the end they learned to dance like no one was watching..like they wanted each other. Loved it!
I absolutely loved the main characters! The way the chemistry was described, I can just picture what was going on! I read it all in one sitting! Loved it!! Looking forward to reading more!!
