There is indeed a soul mate for everyone!
This was a great story. It is loosely connected to Devils in Armani series (Danny works for the Mantiones) but it’s a standalone. The story flows nicely but the MCs definitely steal the show. Danny is an enforcer for the Mantiones Mafia. When an associate skims money from them, he is assigned to take and interrogate him. He gets him to a somewhat remote cabin during a snowstorm. Kris is stranded near this cabin after she wrecks her car because of the snowstorm. Danny saves her and offers her shelter. She doesn’t know that there is a man there, hidden, subjected to interrogation. Sparks fly, passion ignites to inferno and Danny and Kris have a spectacular one-night together – the age gab is irrelevant. But what will she do when she finds out who Danny really is, what he is capable of or when her own father comes to get her the very next day? And after their bone deep, unexpected connection, can Danny let her go? I couldn’t put the book down. I loved Danny and how controlled he is but also amazingly open to change, but I believe Kris is the one stealing the show with the surprising and completely unexpected way she reacts to everything. 4 stars

Danny and Kris mad this book impossible to put down. Kris crashes her car with a snowstorm coming and makes it to Danny who takes her in. He is enchanted with her, and it leads to one amazing night, but when she finds the man tied up things get dicey. She asks to watch him interrogate and it actually starts their path although she leaves briefly from his life. It is a thrilling story filled with drama from start to finish.

This is full of action and the chemistry is off the charts. This was well-written, and the way the FMC stumbling into a snow storm and being taken in by the MC at a really inconvenient time as he has someone locked away to be interrogated to get some info. Now he has this beautiful woman that calls to him in ways that no other has. This is a book you won't want to put down once you start. This is a must read!!
