Residing in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, I have always had a love of writing and after years of stories bouncing around in my head I decided to put pen to paper and Stripped Bare, my first novel, was created.
As a grown woman I am now very family orientated and fairly straight laced, although you wouldn't think so from reading my novels.
I write with the aim of giving people an easy, enjoyable read, and try to make the characters as relatable as I can. And they all have a HEA.
I write my books as series, but each can be read as stand alone novels.

"I have wanted to spend time with you from the first moment I saw you. All I've thought about since then was you, what you like, what your story is, and how on earth I can get you to go out with me. I want to know all about you Erin."-Jason

Stripped Raw was a pretty good read for me. It was better than a 3 star, but a few things kept it from being a 4 star book for me. In this book we meet Erin and Jason. Erin has had a rough life. Her mother was a druggie, her dad's not in the picture. Erin has been raising herself since she was 3. She works hard and puts herself through College. While in College he meets Mark and falls in love. Mark is rich and his family doesn't approve of his dating a girl from the wrong side of the tracks and demands they break up. Pregnant and heartbroken Erin is determined to give her baby a better life. Mark's family does everything they can to make Erin abort or lose the baby. After years of hard work, Erin finally has the means to move to a new nice town far away from her past and make a new start with her son. It is in her new home town that she meets Jason, who is also wanting to start new and leave the past behind. Can Jason get Erin to give him a shot and can the both overcome their Past?

"I'm not going to hurt him or you. I've never felt like this toward anyone before. I want to do right by you both. I just need you to trust me."-Jason

 photo BeFunky Collagefhdf_zpsm32s4nzf.jpg

I felt this book did a great job of letting us readers get to know the two MCs individually. Jason was a sexy, laid back, down to earth guy. Jason has slept around a lot in the past, but after a drunken mistake that cost him his best friend, he is trying to change his ways. He wants a relationship not meaningless hook-ups. Jason was very likable and charming. He really won me over. Erin was great too. Strong and determined, she pulls herself up from the crap life she had, works hard and makes something of herself. She is a fighter. Erin is a great mother to Joey. I really liked both Jason and Erin. I adored Joey. He was a cute little boy and some of the things he said melted my heart.

"You don't need an excuse to be here. I don't think I want to be apart from you either."-Erin

 photo tumblr_mnunebCh9J1rttk3eo1_500_zpsebqippkk.gif

One of the things that really didn't work for me in this book is the tremendous amount of masturbating that Jason and Erin do. I don't mind sexual details in books. I don't get offended easily, so that isn't what bothered me. It was that it was repeated so much it was a little tedious. At the 41% mark Jason and Erin are not together and have barely spoken to each other, but they have masturbated repeatedly to each other. And I got to read each time over and over. Seen each other... masturbate, smile at each other... masturbate, think of each other... masturbate, wind blew, well you get the picture. Also even though I got to know them so well individually, their relationship was kinda background to their lives. I would have liked more of a relationship build up. Like I said at the 40% mark they had only said a few things to each other. So their relationship felt instant and rushed. Don't get me wrong there are some very cute moments with the couple and with Joey. There are also some sexy, steamy moments too. I just wanted a little more of those and less of their separate lives. I really liked the secondary characters. I loved Jason's parents and Mack(Macy) Jason's cousin. I would love for Mack to get her own story, because she just broke my heart. I would really like to see her get her own HEA!

I have to admit that it has been a couple of weeks since I finished this book, generally I like to write a review once I finished a book so everything is fresh in my mind, but with family visiting and the school holidays etc the time seemed to get away from me.

However, I did another quick skim through to refresh my memory.

All in I did enjoy this story. The hero was refreshingly normally flawed. He had a normal job, was not a super alpha or a secret agent or rich CEO millionaire.....just a normal guy who had made mistakes and and was trying to change.

It started a bit melodramatically...I don't know, maybe I just do not get the way it started since I come from a country with the NHS and that sort of struggle to get healthcare is so outside my scope of understanding or knowledge.

Occasionally I felt like the story could have been told in a smoother way, as it felt at times a little bit like a listing of interactions been given to us, as opposed to a story being told, but I feel that will come with time as the author publishes and writes more.

And there was a couple of things that were just HUGE coincidences that added some drama.

However all in, I enjoyed it, and it felt a touch different from what seems to be around at the moment. As I say, the characters, the hero especially were all rather refreshingly normal and relateable in a way, as they were flawed. Sometimes I do get a bit bored of reading about billionaires, Doms, Vampires, PI's, Step brothers etc....

I enjoyed this one more that Stripped Bare. The story flowed much better and even though you knew where it was going it was a nice ride. The author's writing definitely showed signs of improvement when compared to her first book. No unnecessary descriptions or superfluous sentences. We again have the same format of the two main characters POVs Erin and Jason, and snippets of side characters POVs.

Jason was the manwhore in the previous book that realized that the path he was on was a destructive one after he slept with his best friends ex. He vows to make amends and correct his ways. We see how far along he got in this book.
description
He decided after that horrendous night, which he can't even remember from drinking too much, that he would cut alcohol and women from his life and focus on his work and his parents farm. Meeting Erin puts a spanner in his plans as he is struck dumb at the sight of her. Literally he couldn't even talk to her! I found that adorable. And she was just as affected by him.

In a huge contrast from the previous book's heroine, Erin is a strong woman, a single mom that has gone through really hard times as a child and as an adult. Basically raising herself, putting her self through school and unfortunately falling in love with an asshole that left her alone and pregnant . Life has not been easy for her. She finally saved enough money to buy a nice house for her and her son and with her new job at the hospital life is finally looking up for her.

description

When she meets Jason and he finally gets his tongue untied to ask her out she decides to go for it. Of course certain obstacles come in their way. This is a romance novel after all and we have the assortment of baddies but also the support of good family and friends.

In comparison to the first book this showed good signs of improvement and how an author can grow. And even if I found it predictable it was still enjoyable. Looking forward to see who the next couple will be.

Her life has been full of troubles, but, Erin, a single mother, is after a fresh start with her young son. At first glance, Bailiff is a charming town, and Erin’s job as a nurse is proof that she has succeeded in life, against the odds, but all is not as it seems in this idyllic setting and Erin is about to discover that she can’t hide from her past, no matter how bright her future looks.
Jason is the town man whore, built, buff and bronzed, he can have his pick of one night stands, he may have taken his party life one night too far and now he is paying the price of the error of his ways. A work-related accident, a twist of fate and for all of the wrong he has done, Jason sees his personal heaven in the form of a beautiful young nurse. Could this be the encounter they have both dreamed of or is Erin too damaged by trusting someone in the past to take a chance on losing her heart again? And then there is her son to think about…

When a parent’s nightmare comes true, these two will be tested to their limits and beyond. Will their budding relationship take the strain? Jason is determined to be what Erin wants and needs, but Cupid never shows his hand until all the cards have been played.

Rebecca Moon’s Stripped Raw is like a hot spring of pain, determination and emotional need as two people learn to stand against the odds and the treachery that surrounds them. Ms. Moon’s characters are simply riveting; Erin is a poster girl for anyone who has had an uphill climb where each step could mean a plunge to the bottom, because she did it without compromising her values. Jason is the poster boy for self-centered womanizers until he meets the one woman who has captured his heart and soul.

Hot sensuality, delightful moments and desperate situations all add up to a great romance from Rebecca Moon.

4,5 "Second chances do exist for everyone" stars from me!!

The second book of the series was i would say about second chances where you are becoming the exact opposite from what you used to be/act and seeing life from a different angle, that's what Jason does in his story from a man-whore playboy who done some very reckless things that caused him "loss" to a person who wants to get attached and not just like "i have girlfriend" but serious things with a child (not his) getting involved here creating a completely new picture in his life.

Loved both characters a lot in this story from the complete transformation in Jason's personality to the admiration i felt for a fighter like Erin who overcame many obstacles since young age from raising and educating herself to become stronger from a bad relationship and trying to provide
the best for her son's life. Really how can you not feel super proud for a character like hers?? she is definitely one of my favorite heroines and i understand why this whole romance thing took a while to grow, after what she's been through is not easy to trust someone even if you like him a lot if you don't built some kind of communication with him first.

Overall it was a very enjoyable, sweet and emotional story with interesting dialogues and steady plot pace, i have grown to like a lot the series so i'm going jump right into Nick's story!!

Stripped Raw surprised me. Cool, sexy cover this time (I lamented the authors previous cover fail in Stripped Bare the first book in this series that spurred me on to read this one, heh). In Raw, I expected an angsty tale and prepared myself for some overwrought, New Adult posturing. What I experienced was indeed angsty but had a dramatic substance that I quite enjoyed. Erin and Jason were underdogs, and who doesn’t love to root on an underdog? I wanted them to win and cheered for their wins while lamenting their losses. Erin had a hard knock upbringing. Forced to parent a drug addled mother, Eric grew up far too early and endued emotional trauma the likes of which no child should experience. A heroin addiction overdose eventually claimed her mother’s life and Erin fumbled through her adolescence and young adulthood, where she faced even more disappointment and abandonment when she fell in love with a wealthy boy whose family was deadest against their union. After unimaginable consequences, Erin has hit the reset button and is determined to make a new life for herself and her child. The birth of adorable little Joey son was sadly strong scene that conveyed her strength and vulnerability in a most interestingly balanced way. I was sold on #TeamErin all the way.

Jason is a manwhore who once reveled his bad boy Lothario persona until it costs him dearly. I found his background paled in comparison to Erin’s. I was even all “seriously- this is his big problem?” The snag for me here was that Erin’s harrowing past was so strong that his slutting about town, waking up on the wrong side of the sheets love em and leave em past barely registered. Anticipating such a reaction, author, Rebecca Moon made up for this disconnect by revealing a troubled, emotionally bruised inner dialogue that solicited sympathy for Jason, a character I would have otherwise overlooked with a bit of a smirk and disregarded as shallow. The pair of them make the perfect life-battle scarred pair. It doesn’t hurt that there is a light humor that broke up my pearl clutching with intermittent giggles.

Single-mom-gets-her-groove-back trope is typically enjoyable for me. I think it is because of the attention to detail that authors make a conscious effort to apply when it comes to navigating the perils of dating a mom. The dude is always hot because well duh, momma has needs and desires thank you very much, and they are amazing when it comes to being thoughtful and understanding and beyond accommodating the heroine and her child- who is precious! Stripped Raw gave up all the warm and fuzzies given the lengths Jason went through to realistically integrate his life with Erin & Joey. He became a father figure and protector and companion and lover and it was marvelous!

Jason took over, placing his hands on either side of her face, drawing her to him so that he could kiss her, his tongue possessing her mouth and his warm lips keeping to the curve of hers. Erin’s senses went into overdrive and her need to get closer was undeniable. Pushing her still fully clad mound into his crotch, she reveled in the friction of material against her clit. She shivered as the contact sent a spasm through her and the guttural groan that escaped Jason’s throat made her nearly cum right then and there.

Reaching between them, Erin searched for Jason’s zipper so that she could spring his cock free, when a voice halted them faster than a bucket of ice water.

“Mummy, what’s for breakfast?”

Oh the joys of sex and the single mom, snort!

In all, this was a satisfying read. The character development was impressive and the story arc had a nice balance of emotional turmoil, sensuality, and not exactly danger, but a predictable custody battle with the absent, deadbeat father Erin thought she left behind. There were some grammar and editing issues that were a little distracting, but on the whole, I am happy to recommend you give it a read. It is not a hefty commitment as it is average in length with a steady pace. Requisite HEA, no cliffhanger, stand-alone- though it is part of a series and (squee!!) a cool epilogue wraps this story up quite nicely.

Jason Cunnington wants a new start that means no more drinking and meaningless sex. After sleeping with his best friend's fiance, Jason has learned his lesson the hard way. No matter how many times Jason has asked for Beau's forgiveness for what happened it still doesn't change the facts~Jason screwed up big time. Meanwhile Erin Stancliffe has moved to Bailiff for a change for herself and her five year old son Joey. Erin's past is troubled yet she wouldn't change a minute of it because of Joey. Erin's job as a nurse will provide them with a new life. Jason takes his employee Rafe to get his hand treated for work related injury. Jason is blown away by the beauty in the treatment room that he becomes tongue tied to boot. Jason isn't the only one stunned Erin can't believe the hottie stepping into her room. All Jason knows is that he wants to ask Erin out. Erin doesn't believe that Jason wants to go out with her either. When Jason unexpectedly learns that Erin has a son he's not sure what to do but Rafe has the answer ask her anyway. Erin's hurt by Jason's reaction to learning about Joey. Beau's ex fiance Sue keeps showing up at Jason's apartment stalking him because she wants him since it appears that Beau doesn't want her. Will Jason's past ruin any chance with Erin? Will Erin accept Jason? What will Sue do next? Your answers await you in Stripped Raw.

I've wondered about Jason's story since his introduction in Stripped Bare. Jason being known as manwhore or slut doesn't endear him to many people. Yet he does really try to change his ways for the better. The story just tugged my heart both mentally and emotionally. The story is really raw, real, down to earth, and compelling. The characters are flawed, real, raw, honest, complex, and fascinating. I definitely looking forward to more of this author's work in the future.

In this, the second book in the series, Rebecca gives us Jason's story, and boy what a story it is.

Jason has slept with a lot of women, but hits an all time low when he wakes up after a drunken night, in bed with his best friends ex fiancé. While the friendship is now broken, it sure has woken Jason up to his slutty ways. He gives up the party life, alcohol and women.

That is until he meets the new nurse in town, and he's smitten.

Erin has had a pretty crappy life. She watched her mum throw her life away to drugs. Truly alone for the first time in her life, things go from bad to worse when she discovers she is pregnant. She is determined to keep her baby and give him the life she could only dream of.

Erin and her son Joey move to town and she starts work at the local hospital. On her first day, she encounters Jason after a workplace accident, and while she finds him seriously attractive, there is no way Jason would be interested in her and all her baggage.

When Jason discovers that the sexy new nurse has a son, for some unexplained reason, it makes him more determined to get to know this woman, and hopefully make her his.

As the sparks fly and romance blossoms, Erin and Jason find themselves falling in love. But lurking in the background is a jealous ex and Joeys father, who decides that right now is the right time to fight for custody.

A serious accident will see Erin and Jason's relationship tested.

Truths will be revealed and lies uncovered.

Will there love for one another triumph all these obstacles?

Yet another brilliantly written story that had us captivated from beginning to end.

A definite 5 star read.

I loved this book! Hands down my favorite in the series.
Jason was introduced in Stripped Bare as a bit of a man-whore, but you get the sense that he is truly wanting more out of his love life. Enter Erin, single mom, nurse, and doing the best she can after a train wreck of a life. Erin is one of those characters that you root for wholeheartedly. She does the absolute best for her son, makes something of herself after a disastrous relationship with her son's father, and is just a well rounded heroine. Jason may look macho, but the way he struggles through trying to court Erin is adorable. Throw in the drama of vindictive exes and you have a winning story.
You can feel the love between these characters instantly and the intimate scenes are even better. Jason helps Erin pull herself from the depths of some serious emotional trauma and the journey keeps you enthralled from page one. Great story that made me want to read more and more about this couple!

Great story arc with fantastically intertwined characters! Jason and Erin make a couple that you want to see good things happen for them. The sacrifices that each make in the name of love make them incredibly likable. Neither are without their faults but their hearts are in the right place.

The comparisons between the characters made the book very interesting. I love the similarities between parent and child: Erin and her son Joey, and Jim and Jason. The respect and concern between the generations was amazingly heart warming. The differences between Erin and Jason were equally as compelling.

As a series, Stripped Raw nicely tied in to the previous novel, Stripped Bare. If you disliked Jason’s actions in that first book, just remember every character deserves a second chance. Jason truly turns his behavior around in Stripped Raw.

Erin Stancliffe is one strong young lady. She overcame how she was brought up to raise her young son by herself. Even put herself through college. To get a 'fresh' start on life she moves to a better neighborhood when she starts her nursing career.

Through her job she meets Jason Cunningham, whom we met in Stripped Bare. He is basically a man whore. There is something about Erin that takes a hold of Jason. Through her he becames the man he is supposed to be and through him Erin learns to trust again and realize that they are 'good' men out there.

They are both struggling to overcome their pasts to gain a future together. Which is not easy to do when both their pasts cause havoc in their present.

I liked getting to know the 'real' Jason. I also liked at the end of the book Macy, his cousin, who we also met in Stripped Bare, pops in with some turmoil and you just know there is going to be another book. Can't wait!

The only thing I was a little disappointed about is that I wished we could of caught up more with the other characters from Stripped Bare (Sally, Damien, Chelsea). The book is great but just 'miss' them.

Stripped Raw by Rebecca Moon is the second book in the Stripped Series. This book is about Jason and Erin. We learned a little bit about Jason in Stripped Bare, but we find out what a good man Jason really is in this book.

Jason works for his family’s construction company. He’s a notorious Man Whore and his family wonders if he will ever settle down. Erin hasn’t had the easiest life. After making the choice to keep her baby, even after the father’s family tried to have her killed, Erin prospers and becomes a nurse. Erin is looking to start fresh and create a good life for her son. An accident at a construction site cause a chance encounter between Erin and Jason. Jason can’t deny his instant attraction to Erin and Erin can’t deny the tingles she feels hearing Jason speak. The chemistry between Jason and Erin is undeniable.

I think Jason and Erin are my favorite couple in this series. There is no denying they have what it takes to be together for the long haul. This story is well written and left me wanting more from this couple. Please check out this book and the series.

This is the second book in what is a great series so far.

We meet Erin Standiffe whose had a troubled past but is now a single mummy to a 5 year old boy Joey who is her absolute world.

She gets a job at the local district hospital and it's here she meets the local man whore Jason Cunningham he's good looking, tanned and has muscles in all the right places.

Jason has always been a player but is desperately trying to change his ways after ge wakes up in bed one morning with his best friends ex fiancé. This has left Jason's reputation in tatters.

When he sees Erin he feels absolutely dumb struck at the sight of Erin. But Erin isn't going to fall for Jason's charms so easily and must overcome everything that she has been through to even entertain Jason.

Jason will do everything in his power not only to protect Erin but not to let the girl of his dreams slip through his fingers.

I received an ARC for an honest review

Erin has had a rough start since becoming pregnant when she was a teenager. The father of her child and his family had abandoned her and hurt her in more ways than one. Now that she is finally able to make a decent life for her and her son, the enigmatic Jason Cunningham has moved into her their lives and made her think she finally had it all. But their pasts have caught up to them creating havoc.

Erin and Jason's story is sweet and quick. It didn't take long for the story to take off and progress. There were many issues they both faced that came to a crash making you believe there was no hope. The authors idea of a single mom with a new man in her life is pretty spot on. The challenges of wondering if it's to fast, if they will get along, if the man will love their child like their own is shown Extremely well in this story. I didn't love it (unsure why) but it was an easy read for me that was enjoyable.

After meeting Jason in stripped bare you enter this book with a love for his character that quickly grows as you see the transformation he makes.

Erin you meet in a very dark and traumatic setting but it allows you to connect with her on a deeply emotional level.

Erin and Jason meet at the hospital and there's an instant desire and attraction,
As Erin try's to build a life for her and her son and Jason attempts to put the past behind him flames spark between the pair.

Is there a happy ever after waiting for Erin and Jason or will the past come back to haunt them.
Again another fabulous read from Rebecca Moon that will keep engrossed until the very end, as you laugh and cry and at times may possibly wish you could hit someone round the side of the head a few times can't wait to read the next book.
