Augmented Aspects: Gravely Mistaken
Moving is always tough. The process becomes exponentially tough when you find out that the supposedly vacant land you have chosen out in the middle of nowhere is actually an ancient elven burial ground. Normally, the process would require a brutal battle to the death, but as always, finding an alternate solution is possible. However, the possible solution becomes complicated, to say the least.
This complication allows for a temporary reprieve of hostilities, allowing life to move on. As always, training must be conducted.
Finally, in an effort to reward Cass, Mallory finds what could quite possibly be considered the worst birthday gift ever, a mirror capable of turning every living thing into an undead monster.

Where the dragons!?
While the book over-all was fine, a bit of filler and base building. It seemed to retcon the whole reason she left the Tower. The quest to bring back True Dragons to the world through the Eggs. While she might be 'waiting' on doing it until she has a base. There is no mention of them and she never brings them up as reason for leaving.
Now that aside, while I don't mind her whole pacifist nature, I do hate that she doesn't face any consequences of it. That every time she beats some 'bad guy' he just goes 'aww shucks' and leaves it at that or becomes her friend. Really?
If I'm a 'bad guy' who attacks some doctor trying to help me and she shatters my core or cripples me. I'm not going to just go 'Aww Shucks' and leave. No, I'm going to use my amassed fortune of decades to get to level 500 , which is the level of her enemies, and hire some assassins.
Now I'm not going to go after her, I know she's powerful, she beat me. No I'm going to have them go after her family. With spirit daggers. Remember how she used spirit to nearly destroy the soul of the duelist and barely saved him? That. THAT. Is what I'd use. I'd have spirit enchanted daggers that utterly destroy the soul so they can't be saved. Even if it takes a year or two to make, I'd hire it.
Then I'd send those assassins after her family with those daggers to utterly kill them. Then the 'bad guys' who she crippled who spent decades growing in power and wealth. Should also use that wealth as a promise to some outside the game In the Real world, murders. Gang members who ever. Then send those low scum off to murder the characters family outside the game.
The fact she can just be like. 'I beat you' no consequences! Is getting annoying. If she lets all her enemies live and plot, grow strong again, THERE SHOULD BE CONSEQUENCES! She keeps letting everyone who tries to kill her and her family go and it's just .....stupid.

Good story but too many perspectives
I usually appreciate hearing the full story from several sides, but the book could have gotten way further and included more engaging events than rehashing the same stories 4 times from different perspectives. It seems a bit repetitive and a waste of pages. Good story line, I wish there was more actual fighting, but im looking forward to the next installment

Wonderful book, needs edits
This is a fantastic story and a great addition to the series. However, something must have gone wrong during editing because every time the word should have been said, what was written was says. This will probably make some people lower their rating for this wonderful book, but I think it still deserves its 5 star rating.

Good story, disappointing proof reading.
I really enjoy this story and most stories like it, but the amount of typos I found in this book is just unacceptable. I'd ask the author to please go over your books once or twice more to really hammer it into shape.

Read on RR, so I'm assuming there will be edits and whatnot before it goes to press, but it's solid work, and good fun.
