I’m back. Locked away and under their vigilant eyes, forcing me to my knees. It’s not the same as it was with my father, but in the end, it’s all cut from the same cloth. Cloth darkened by the blood of the innocent. And I refuse to be part of it. I will escape. I will find a way to ruin their ideals, their belief in "Faith Based Healing.” Their annihilation will fuel my rebirth. But this time, I have people waiting for me. And they are determined to help me no matter the cost.

She’s gone, taken, and one of us is to blame. And one of us will be the key to setting her free. We might live or die, but it doesn’t matter. Our reclamation of what belongs to us won’t come easy. There is no price we won’t pay to get her back, to free her from their bloodstained hands. We will save her. And she will kneel before us once again. No other outcome will do. For we cannot live without our Heathen, our sanctuary. We refuse to, and we never break our oaths.
Possession is the second book in the Bonetti Bastards series, a spinoff of Lunatic and Bonetti Brothers, and is for an 18+ audience as it contains scenes that might not be suitable for all readers.
I hate talking about myself. I'm awkward AF and write super spicy books with twisty plots. Most of my books are dark romance so always check the content warnings!
Book 2 of the Bonetti Bastards series delivers nonstop angst, heartbreak, healing, and seriously scorching spice. As a why choose romance, this installment definitely turns up the heat. 🔥 It's emotional, addictive, and extra spicy! 🥵 The emotional depth was incredible, and I loved seeing the growth between Heather, Knox, Carter, and Killian after everything they endured.
The narration was absolutely top-tier. Amanda Willow, Joe Arden, James Cassidy, and Sean Masters were the perfect cast, giving each character a distinct voice and so much emotion. Their performances elevated every scene, capturing the heartbreak, tension, and passion so vividly that it felt like the story came to life through their voices.
That ending?! Chelle Rose really knows how to leave you desperate for the next book. If you love dark, emotional stories, why choose romance with unforgettable characters and phenomenal duet narration? This one is a must-listen!

Huge thank you to Chelle Rose and Blue Nose Publishing for this gifted ALC. This is my honest, voluntary review.
The narrators were incredible. I mean, check out this lineup!!!! 🔥Amanda Willow 🔥Joe Arden 🔥Sean Masters 🔥James Cassidy
This story was WILD. Check your TWs prior to starting. That being said, I thought this was a story that was action packed and kept my attention.
I loved the way Chelle wrote this second book in this series and the audiobook was INCREDIBLE. Chelle did a great job expanding this series and I'm so thrilled to have gotten to listen early.
I cannot wait for Book 3's audiobook!
The FMC having the background she does and going in to the "career" she does is fascinating. I tend to gravitate towards seri@l k!ller dark romances with feminine rage and this was exactly that. Supportive but pitch black MMCs made this an even more wild ride.

Holy Moly!!!!!! Wow, this second book was INSANE!! I loved the progression with Heather and Killian. I loved seeing this "softer" side to Killian, more loving side to Killian, even though he still treated Heather the way she liked to be treated in the bedroom, but he now knows what it's like to lose her and he finally understands what his brothers both saw in her.
But I have to say this and I'm so sorry.... but Heather got on my DANG NERVES this book. I'm so sorry, I love her and she is so strong but oh my god girl, like can you just like calm down and let these brothers be there for you and help you, like I get it, I know you're a strong capable woman, but jesus christ. UGHHHH I literally was yelling at my Kindle/Headphones every single time Heather put up a fight with the guys about going to Arizona for her safety, putting a tracker in for her safety, her leaving in the middle of the night thinking that she can save them, and then the ending?!?!?! I'm annoyed with her for that too.. and it's like baby girl, I hope Killian spanks your butt so hard you can't sit down for a month because you need it. I'm so annoyed with you! yeeshh.. okayyy i'm done being annoyed with her. hahaha
I still cannot believe that ending, always leaving us on a cliffhanger!!!! But I know that Chelle did say that our baby angels are getting a happy ending after everything they have endured so I'm happy about that, but I am nervous for this last book, I know that Heather is going to be put through a lot.
Carters confession in this book had me in tears, like I can't even, I had to pause and pretty much sob for a good few minutes. I just hate that he had to go through more than what we already knew he had been through before.
Also, I need this series to end in a serious crucifixion and flames.. like I need all these sick mother f**kers to die slow and painful deaths and I need it to be so graphic and I need Heather and her men to be bathed in their blood!! :D
Thank you again Blue Nose and Chelle Rose for the Advance Listening Copy. Amanda Willow is such a great Heather!! Sean Masters, Joe Arden, and James Cassidy do such great jobs as Knox, Carter, and Killian. I cannot wait for the 3rd and final audio to come out. I know they are going to kill that one like they did with this one!!
Killian Bonetti… sir??? The AUDACITY of this man to ruin my emotional stability twice.
Look, I knew what I was getting into because in book one he was let’s be honest a certified menace. A walking red flag. A whole parade, really. 🚩 And yet here I am, crawling back like “yes, emotionally damage me again, thank you.” Because somehow, SOMEHOW, he went from “I want to fight him” to “I would fight for him.”
This man is hurting, okay? And now I’m hurting. We’re all hurting. It’s a group activity at this point.
Meanwhile, Carter and Knox are over here with their little emotional support system, having each other, communicating, being all healthy-ish… and then there’s Killian. Alone. Spiralling. Drowning in guilt and grief. And yes, okay, some of it was deserved (iykyk), but did they all have to come for him like that?! Let the man suffer in peace, respectfully.
Heather though?? Absolute queen behaviour. This woman has been THROUGH IT and still has that fire in her. I am fully seated, popcorn ready, waiting for her revenge era because when she rises, it’s going to be iconic. Burn it all down, babe 🔥
And the triplets??? I’m unwell.
Knox = Consent King. Crown secured. No competition. The standard. The blueprint. We love a man who asks.
Carter = soft boy, emotional glue, heart of gold. If anything happens to him, I riot.
Killian = protector, self-sacrificing, emotionally constipated but we forgive him because he’d literally die for them and honestly… same.
The dynamic between all of them?? Inject it into my veins.
Also, can we talk about that ending?? Because excuse me??? I was NOT prepared. I finished it and just stared at the wall like I’d been personally victimised. I need book 3 immediately. Not soon. Not eventually. Immediately.
This book had me going through every single emotion possible rage, laughter, heartbreak, “I need to lie down,” and back again. Chelle really said “you will feel EVERYTHING” and she did not lie.
And of course, I stayed up way too late because putting it down was not an option… until my migraine said “lol no” and shut the whole thing down. Rude.
Anyway, I’m obsessed. I’m emotionally compromised. I will absolutely be rereading and adding this to my collection like the unhinged book goblin I am.
Getting back into this series and listening with the audio had to be made up from that cliffhanger in book one so I needed to know what was gonna happen in book 2 because it was driving me insane now that I have I can totally calm myself down and literally just say the weight was worth it but another cliffhanger she lucky I love her lol because I am not a huge fan of cliffhanger being in a trilogy, but till then let’s get into my review.
“When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” Maya Angelou
If you read book one, then you understand about the word, betrayal and trust, because that’s what it came to when after that cliffhanger so when you hear that word, you know that you’re on for a wild ride with this book . I will take Actions over words any day. That all im gonna say. When I read this and listen I felt that . But the betrayed was not what I had when I read and listen to them because what the actual fuck this book had done to me , it built me up and then turn around and put me down back to
Why in my head when I read book one that the FMC hair was black hair haha but blonde and blue eyes haha let just say I was not pictured in my mind at all. And Heather can be a brat throwing through he is stubborn through and through. I will say that, but I loved her in a funny protective way.
Carter Knox Killian these three brothers would do anything for their little heathen and I love that for them. It did take me some time to fully get back into trusting Killian on what went down but overall the guys hands-down are perfect and I love them.
In my opinion, she gave is the one the one that could trade her the most she could’ve let him suffer a little more in my opinion, but I did like how it fell in how it was going the right kind of direction
The spice in this book will never stop me and clutching my invisible pearl because this book was good and delicious spice spicy very much as always
We're back with the Bonetti Bastard brothers, where Heather has been taken, Knox and Carter, we don't know what's going to happen, and Killian realizes the mistake he made. And I knew this book would also have an insane cliffhanger, and yes, it does!
Heather is back with the "Faith-Based Healing” cult she originally escaped from. But this time, she knows she's not alone as she has the brothers who won't leave her in the hell she was forced back into. She's survived once and knows she will again.
The brothers are determined to find her and bring her back from the vile people who took her again while trying to sort through their relationship troubles. Carter is fighting the demons from his past, Knox is keeping a close eye on him, and Killian is willing to do whatever it takes to make amends for his betrayal. I felt torn in this book at the beginning; I did feel bad for Killian as his intentions were pure, but on the other hand, he betrayed them all.
Aside from their relationship troubles, others are threatening them at a more dangerous level, who need to be dealt with. Sacrifices are made, emotions are high, and suspense hangs in the air (especially that ending!).
(I also loved that we had an appearance from the other books.)

I Was Not Emotionally Prepared for This Level of Devastation
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and emotional damage I’ll never recover from)
I don’t even know where to start because I am genuinely wrecked.
Chelle Rose has this insane ability to pull you into her world and completely consume you—and with Possession, she’s taken it to another level. The way she seamlessly weaves together characters from across her different series? It’s effortless, addictive, and honestly genius. I’ve come out of this book with an overwhelming need to go back and reread her entire backlist because everything just hits differently now.
Heather is still one of the best FMCs I’ve ever read. Strong, raw, unbreakable in ways that matter—she owns every scene she’s in, and I love her fiercely. And Killian… I knew he was going to be devastating, but nothing could have prepared me for just how perfectly разрушing he is. That man is everything.
But let’s be clear—this book is DARK. Not just dark… the trauma has trauma. Chelle doesn’t hold back, and neither should you when it comes to checking trigger warnings. This story will push your limits, break your heart, and leave you sitting in the aftermath trying to piece yourself back together.
And then… THAT ENDING.
I am not okay. That cliffhanger has me in an emotional chokehold, and I will absolutely be throwing a tantrum until I get the next book. Heather, the triplets—I NEED their HEA, and I’m holding onto Chelle’s promise like my sanity depends on it.
This book hurts… but it’s the kind of hurt that’s addictive. The kind that makes the payoff feel worth every second.
If you can handle the darkness, the intensity, and the emotional devastation—this is 100% worth the ride.
Chelle Rose does not disappoint whatsoever with book 2 in the Bonetti Bastards series. Does Chelle leave us on a cliffhanger, yes! Is it painful, Yes! Does it make you want book 3 now, also yes! I loved this book and I am loving the series thus far!
Book 2 picks up right after the events of book 1 and Killian is reeling from the immense guilt he feels and all he wants to do is make things right, but can he?
As always I am always stunned by the talents that were assembled for this series. Amanda Willow is stunningly brilliant and has such an amazing range. Her performance of Heather demonstrates that range of emotions and character growth through the past trauma, the anxiety, the rage, the fear, and her love and trust for the brothers, Carter, Knox, and Killian.
The brothers: Carter, Knox, and Killian are completely obsessed with Heather, their Little Heathen, Tesoro, K!ller. They will go to the ends of the world to keep Heather safe, even if that means the price that needs to be paid is their lives. Each of the brothers, like Heather, we see them change emotionally, and we see a change in the group dynamic. Joe Arden performed Carter, Sean Masters performed Knox, and James Cassidy performed Killian. Each is so unbelievably talented and each gave a voice to each of these brothers who are struggling with their own set of trauma.
This is the second book in the Bonetti Bastards series, so if you haven't read book one yet, stop here and go do that first!
I LOVE these narrators. Joe, James, Sean, and Amanda are absolutely top-tier. They bring every scene to life and make the audiobook impossible to pause.
⚠️ Spoilers Ahead ⚠️
After that brutal cliffhanger in book one, I knew this one was going to start off intense. I had a feeling everyone would survive, but hearing that confirmation was such a relief.
I loved watching Killian finally embrace his raw, honest feelings for Heather instead of fighting them. The emotional vulnerability made me love his character even more.
The tension between the characters only gets better in this book, and the romance definitely turns up the heat. I honestly don't know what I'd do if I had three boyfriends! 😂
My absolute favorite part was crossing over with the original Bonetti Brothers. As someone who loved that series, seeing those characters again made me so happy.
And of course... Chelle Rose leaves us with another cliffhanger. This one felt easier to see coming because of Heather's inner monologue, but that didn't make it hurt any less. I already know book three is going to be an emotional roller coaster as we wait for the boys to fight their way back to their girl.
I review books based on feelings and how much attention they steal from my life—not plot structure or literary analysis—and this book completely consumed me.
Now excuse me while I impatiently suffer waiting for book three. 🖤🎧 Honest Review | ALC

I will never say no to these narrators! They came with their A Game and left with a slam dunk with their performances! I loved being able to put a voice to each character! I am so pumped for the next audio with them!
✨️📖 On To The Book Review 📖✨️
As if I haven't already had some serious emoptional trauma for these characters, I signed up for this. I am a glutton for punishment, and I'll gladly do it over and over again.
Lemme just say that I will never say no to triplets that I don't have to choose from. These men are on a whole different level than their parents, but that means that we get EVERYTHING we didn't get the first go round!
This books gives us constant heartbreak, angst, spice that you never want to stop listening to and healing. This book had me in my feels all the way throughout this book and I can't say I didn't love it.
I'm intentionally being vague because I think that going in blind for this whole series is the best way! Well, besides reading immersively.
Seeing how this series is going, I cannot wait for the next audio!
Thank you 🫶🏻 to ✨️ Chelle Rose & Blue Nose Audio ✨️ for the complimentary 🎧 ALC 🎧. ✨️ All opinions are my own, honest, & voluntary✨️.
I ate this up in a day. Then, I read it again before reviewing.
Heather will always be one of my favorite fmc's. She's strong no matter what she goes through. And this girl goes through A LOT.
Her men, Knox, Carter, and Killian are still by her side, doing everything they can to keep her safe and bring her closure and plans for her revenge.
If you like a good groveling arc, this is it. If you've read book one and were mad at a certain triplet like I was, he will have you folding and forgetting why you had anything against him in the first place.
I absolutely love how the relationship between the brothers is also at the forefront. Killian doesn't only need to mend his relationship with his girl, but with his brothers too. And the way my heart broke for him every time we reached one of his chapters and understood his guilt and where everything started for him...
This book is not a HEA, but I can't wait for book three to see them get their happy ending. I can't think of any characters more deserving of happiness than these four.
If you love groveling, forgiveness arcs, strong fmc's, crossovers from other series we know and love (looking at you, bonettis) and lots of darkness and heartbreak, then i definitely recommend you get to these books now!!!
Completely DEVOURED THIS BOOK! LIKE AN ADDICTION I COULDNT HOLD MYSELF BACK. once i started there was no pausing this book. Straight up in my ear and also had to immersive read this baby. The what the, omg, NO, STOP IT NOW, and many other expletives that came from my mouth gives you a taste of how utterly infatuated i was with this book. This whole series has kidnapped me and I’m just waiting for the ride to start again for book 3.
Chelle rose is a diabolical in her writing. Not sure what she injected into these pages, but her writing and then the narrator (FULL CAST Duet style) selection was top tier! I felt like I was just apart of this story living it as the characters went through it all. And every emotion, feeling, rip of my heart was felt.
Please be a healthy reader and check your triggers in this story. It is a series and you do have to start with book one. And be prepared for the cliffhangers cuz they are real brutal. These characters are not going through rainbows and sunshine. They have traumatic pasts. They are dealing with permanent change damage to them. Things that time doesn’t just get over. It’s trauma they have to learn to live with… and watching them all live together and help each other was soooo heart filling.
This is a why choose book. It’s triplets and their woman. Carter, Knox, Killian, and Heather. Be ready for their ride you’ll fall as hard as I did if you love dark romance.
This second book in the Bonetti Bastards series takes everything from Destruction and turns it up tenfold—more trauma, more obsession, more heartbreak, more healing, and more emotional devastation. Heather continues to prove she’s one of the strongest FMCs I’ve ever read, refusing to break no matter what is thrown at her. Meanwhile, Knox, Carter, and Killian would burn the world down to get their Little Heathen back.
Killian’s journey was one of my favorite parts of this book. Watching him face his mistakes, carry the weight of his guilt, and fight for redemption had me feeling every emotion. The bond between the brothers was just as powerful as the romance itself.
The audiobook was phenomenal. Amanda Willow brought Heather’s strength and vulnerability to life, while Joe Arden, Sean Masters, and James Cassidy delivered raw, emotional performances that made it impossible to hit pause. James Cassidy especially captured every layer of Killian’s pain, guilt, and devotion perfectly.
⚠️ This is an extremely dark romance, so please check trigger warnings before diving in.
And that ending?! Chelle Rose left me emotionally shattered and desperately counting down the days until book three (audiobook). I need Heather and her men to get the HEA they deserve.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎧 Audiobook: 5⭐️ 🌶️ Spice: Off the charts 🖤 Trauma, obsession, revenge, healing, and a cliffhanger that will leave you screaming.
Another crazy ride of the book. Make sure you read the trigger warnings, and thankfully this book does offer trigger warnings for specific sections of the book. But this is everything that happened after book 1 with Killian and what he did to Heather. So this one was more of like them spending more time in learning about Heather's past and technically Carter's. You start to learn more about the cult that Heather was part of and you start to like hate them more. Because what do you mean they did that to Heather, what do you mean that they permanently did that to her?! And then also what do you mean that happened to Carter! Like are you for real!
Honestly I did not expect that little twist that happened closer to the end of the book. Because you never really know who their father is until this book. And let's just say Bones is kind of on my list right now. After what happened at the end of that book Yes definitely he's on my list. This book like I said goes in more adapt of everything that happens and kind of gets you to where you get more mad at the other characters. I was happy to read about Raven and Bianca in here. So that was great to see them after reading lunatic. The only thing is I do wish that the fighting scene was a little bit longer. Other than that the book was great. Can't wait to read book three and to see how this finally ends.
Chelle writes a depraved, twisted, and spicy volume 2 of the Bonetti Bastards. Her descriptions are vivid, which is why I highly recommend you heed the trigger warnings. Book two picks up immediately after book 1, so you might want to re-read the last chapter to refresh your memory. I did, and it helped me jump right into the story. We get to know the brothers better, especially Carter in this second book. We also get more of Heather's background as well. Also, be prepared for a monster cliffhanger at the end. I can't wait for book 3 to see how it all resolves.
The audio is phenomenal. Amanda Willow provides a heartfelt performance as Heather, providing a lighter voice to the overall soundscape. Sean Master's flawless performance as Knox created the right balance between Carter's slightly unhinged personality and Killian's gruff and tough love exterior. Joe Arden's sometimes frenetic performance as Carter gave an element of realness for me, especially once we learn more about Carter's abduction. James Cassidy's electric performance as Killian hits all the highs and lows. This full-cast duet narration really immerses you further into the Bonetti's world. A must listen for those who really appreciate a dark romance.
I loved him in book 1 even though he was a complete ass, but my God did I fall for him all over again in this one!! His heart was hurting and so was mine.
Carter and Knox had each other while my baby was all alone in his guilt and grief 😔 yes, some of it was warranted after what he did but they didn't have to be so mean...😒
Heather is such a strong woman. She has been through hell and back and she still has that spark in her. I cant wait to see her rise like a phoenix and take her revenge against everyone who has harmed her.
These triplets are the best men 🥹 I love how much they love her and care for her. Knox will always be the consent King no one is taking his crown. He just knows what she needs and Carter, baby Carter is everything. He is the glue that hold them all together he and Heather are forever bonded in a way that only they understand. Killian is and will always be their protector, He will lay down his life for them time again, I freaking love him so much.
That ending was something 😳 I can't wait to get to the next one and see everything come to a head. Kudos to Chelle for such amazing writing ✍️👏🏽🙌🏽
Possession is book 2 in the Bonetti Bastards series. You have to read book 1 to understand what's happening here and this one picks up right where book 1 ended. This series is addicting! My jaw is on the floor with the turns this one took. Killian really stepped up to the plate when he realized his mistake. At first I kept thinking, Heather better not forgive him. But he redeemed himself and I think the three of them together is perfection. The way they balance each other is perfect. We learn a lot more about Carter's abuse and trust me when I say.... it is heart breaking. Honestly, everyone's story was pretty hard. There are some scenes in this one that is really hard to get through but Chelle did an amazing job with putting triggers ahead of it all so we knew... and honestly, I think this is the way it should be done! This story was a little more emotionally charged and also ended on a cliffhanger. I need book 3... like yesterday! I just feel like book 3 is about to be even more emotional and darker than this one, and sadly, I am very much looking forward to it. This is a must read if you can handle the triggers!!
Possession is an addicting read!! I couldn't put it down!!
You get a story packed with emotion, anger, laughter, heartbreak, healing, brotherhood bonds, why choose, and so much spice. 🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥
⚠️Please make sure to check the the trigger warnings⚠️
The triplets? Are amazing!! ♡Knox is still the consent king. ♡Carter is the heart of the group. ♡Killian is the protector who would do anything for all of them.
Killian Bonetti… love him, even when he was being a jerk face!! His guilt, his grief, his loneliness.... I felt every bit of it. 🥺🥹🥺🥹
Heather is so strong. She has been through so much and still refuses to break. I cannot wait to see her rise and take her revenge. 😁😁😁
Watching Killian fix things with Heather and his brothers made my heart ache.
Loved having the other Bonetti Brother’s join the fun. The drama was intense, and the cliffhanger ughhh, I’m desperate for book 3!! I need to know how everything turns out.
Chelle does a great job at sucking you into her stories, making you love her characters and leaving you craving more!!!
A Little bit of spoilers ahead if you haven't read it. I really enjoyed this 2nd book. While I did not expect to finish it within a few hours, I did just that. The Cliffhanger that was in the end of the 1st book, picks up right where it was ended, and was a lot of laughs, tears, and wiping the tears from my eyes as it truly is one of those series that pulls you into their world with such raw emotion. From Killian realizing how badly he messed up, to Knox trying to keep his sanity while watching over Carter who was beside himself. They truly do love this woman with everything they can offer someone. But watching Carter opening up himself more and more to her, and around and in front of his brothers, to finding the woman who murdered their father, and finally seeing Carter accept Heathers touch, and not flinching, but feeling the healing touch that only her can provide to him after all these years of being fearful of being touched by anyone. It will pull at your heart strings, and make you feel even more if you didn't know it was possible.

Holy moly, the literal dam of emotions broke free and flooded in this story! Killian, our guarded fearless leader finally breaks and allows himself to be seen from a whole new side that paints him in the most unexpected way. This man is truly misunderstood and despite his wrong doings I couldn’t help, but fall harder for this man. A lot of bittersweet moments with him! There was both redemption and healing seen in this story with not just Killian, but all three men plus Heather! It was a beautiful site to see play out! Best part was the hot and carnal spice that had me craving more and more each time! While one aspect is fixed among the four, another challenge hits the group, which begs the question who will survive to win!? Trust me the ending is a doozy of a cliffhanger, but hopefully there will be a HEA coming soon for Heather and her men! Thank you Chelle Rose for this ARC opportunity!!!!

With all Chelle's books remember to check the triggers before reading.
I have been waiting for this book after the cliffhanger we were left from Destruction, the first book in the Bonetti Bastards series. It left me hating Killian, but the tables have turned, he was trying to protect his brothers regardless for his feelings for his killer but we now get to see him action those feeling and try to right the wrong. He is broken, and I absolutely love a broken man. This book has all the emotions, the characters Chelle writes are another level, including one of the best FMCs she has wrote in Heather. I love how we got to see the original Bonetti brothers I love them so much so this was an added bonus. Again this book ends in a cliffhanger and can't wait for the next book, which won't be long!
Thank you @chellerosedarkromanceauthor for allowing me to be apart of your world.
There is so much to unpack in this book. First off, I couldn’t wait to get into it since book 1 left my jaw on the dang floor with that cliffhanger. But the growth with the characters in this book was incredible to watch. I was rooting for them from the beginning and I really felt like they fully fell into their relationships full force and gave it their all. Each one of the guys gave her something different, something I don’t even think she knew she needed it until she had it. I am absolutely floored with all the action and the ending definitely left me just as shook as the first, actually more. I have no idea what comes next but I cannot wait!! I did the audiobook and when I tell you there is no one else that could’ve brought this story and characters to life better than Amanda Willow, Joe Arden, James Cassidy and Sean Masters. They embodied these characters completely. I highly recommend for the story and the narration!
Read if you Like: -dark mafia romance -why choose (identical triplets) -multiple POVs -religious trauma -morally black characters -full-cast narration -ANOTHER major cliffhanger -SPICY!!!!
It is always a fun listen when you get a full cast for a why choose. Especially when they all play together, this series has been extremely entertaining so far. That cliffhanger was brutal again, and I can’t wait to read the next one to see what happens to Heather and her men.
Killian had such amazing growth in this book. I loved seeing him finally accept his feelings for Heather. I hated how he treated her in the last book. Seeing him worship her was such a nice change.
This audio is narrated by Amanda Willow, James Cassidy, Sean Masters, and Joe Arden. You can also read the book on KU.
Probably would have been a good idea if I'd done the Bonetti Brothers series and Lunatic first but hey ho, I'll go back to those and it's more to add to my never ending TBR (Bonetti Brothers, Lunatic and then this series is the suggested reading order), I will say again in this review that before going in to these books it is best to check the TW, they do have content that not all readers/listeners will be comfortable with,
I'm still loving this series, the combination of story + great narration on audiobook = I'm hooked, but also gutted that next and final book isn't out yet, when will I learn especially after the ending again! this is what you'd expect from a dark, spicy, taboo, why choose but some pull you in and some feel a bit meh, this is one that absolutely pulls me in, I love the characters, all of them but I still have a soft spot for Carter and Heather, there were times I felt teary again, what's not to love, I can not wait for the last book to be out.
This book definitely hit all the feels, was not prepares for this. Possession continues from book 1, Killian alone, not knowing what has happened to everyone else, and hurting because he is to blame. Knox is caring for Carter, but they all think Heather is dead. But she survived and is now in an asylum, run by the very religious. I would love say more but it will ruin the story.
Now Killian has done a complete 180 for me, the first book he was an arse but now with him realising what he lost, drowning in guilt, my heart was hurting. Heather is still fierce queen, after everything still refusing to kneel for the nuns at the asylum.
This book had me from the first page, and just kept me there. I did feel that ending was rushed, but that cliffhanger wow. Now this a dark book and please read the triggers, but I am in love and desperately need the next book.
Well then....That just went much darker than I anticipated.
I’ve definitely come a long way in my dark romance journey. There was a time when I DNF’d Satan’s Affair by H. D. Carlton because of some of the same themes explored in this series. Ironically, I ended up going back and finishing it later.
While some of the content was incredibly difficult to read, I understand why it’s there. These topics help shape the characters and explain why they are the way they are. That doesn’t make them any easier to get through, though.
That said, my favorite part of this series continues to be the triplets. Their obsession with Heather is absolutely unhinged, but I can’t help loving them for it.
Now I’m officially curious about the Bonetti Brothers after all the mentions in this book, so I’ll be circling back to read that series next.
Rip my heart out, stomp on it, start to put it back together, rip it out again, and and and 😡😖(growling with frustration)!!! I knew I’d be left on another cliffhanger but still!!!!
It’s so good despite the agony that comes along with it.
After finishing Destruction I was hooked and fell in love with all the characters. But I had a soft spot and was really intrigued by Killian, even though he’s a bas…jerk. This book delivered a lot more Killian. And I loved it. Seeing his growth captured my heart.
I wanted to yell at Heather, Killian, Knox, and Carter for some of the decisions they made along the way. While I could understand their reasons, I was still aggravated with them.
I enjoyed the character crossovers. I was honestly giddy with excitement.
“This is not the end. It’s the beginning of the most beautiful love story ever told. Because it’s ours.”
“Perfect girl. Every king needs a queen and you are ours. All of ours.”
Chelle… you are really out here hurting feelings 😩 You meanie, lol. This was a fantastic story, and I’m just going to wait for book 3, which will heal the pain and suffering you caused. And I still stand by my “Knox is my fave” comment I won’t reveal too much, but that cliffhanger?? I am wrecked. Like… WHY 😭 There are so many emotions and truths coming to light in this one, definitely have tissues ready. But don’t worry, the spicy times were spicy! Marvelous writing all around, Chelle. Book 3 can’t come fast enough.
Possession completely wrecked me in the best way possible. Chelle Rose does an incredible job weaving together characters from her different series, making everything feel even more impactful. Heather remains one of the strongest and most unforgettable FMCs I’ve read, while Killian was every bit as intense and heartbreaking as expected. This book is extremely dark and emotionally heavy, so trigger warnings are a must. The trauma, intensity, and emotional damage hit hard—but the story is so gripping that it feels impossible to look away. And that ending? Absolutely brutal. The cliffhanger left me desperate for the next book because I need Heather and the triplets to finally get their HEA. Painful, addictive, and completely worth the emotional chaos.
Book 2 with it a little. Okay, I mean it is what it is. I wish and I'll be glad when it's on audiobook. Because I do believe the full cast narration of this book or of this series makes the book better. The story itself is okay. It was in continuation of book one. They got closer, lots more smut, which is awesome. But like I said, I do believe the full narration kind of spoiled me in from book one, so I really want the full narration for book 2 and 3, and I hate that it takes so long for them to get it done. I one of the reasons why I don't read books that are not complete. In the read and listen for audiobooks is because I hate having to wait for the full narration again.I'm gonna continue book three, but it'll be a little bit more at a leisurely pace
