Five centuries from now, Earth is a paradise: war, poverty, and hunger are erased; freedom is not an illusion. But a ripple in time threatens to undo it all.
Commander Maxilon Renner and his team travel to the 21st century to locate Joshua DeWine, whose writings shaped their future. DeWine has vanished, and his unpublished work on the Eleven Elements—crucial for humanity's survival—is scattered, forcing the team to navigate a dangerous, unfamiliar world.
Robby Joshi, AIA, is an NCARB-certified licensed architect, urban designer, planner, and speculative fiction author whose work bridges visionary worldbuilding with real-world systems thinking. His professional experience spans townships, commercial centers, high-rises, healthcare, hospitality, technology campuses, data centers, and theme parks. With more than 25 years of experience leading complex projects from concept through construction, he has developed a deep interest in how human environments, social structures, and long-range planning shape the future of civilization.
That perspective informs his fiction. In the Eleven Elements series, Joshi blends time travel, philosophical inquiry, spiritual tension, and high-stakes suspense to explore humanity’s survival, moral evolution, and capacity to imagine a more peaceful world. His storytelling is driven by the belief that the same creative force used to design buildings and cities can also envision alternate realities—and challenge readers to think more deeply about the one we are creating now.
Eleven Elements: Book One – Healing Waters has drawn critical attention for its ambitious scope, thought-provoking ideas, and genre-blending narrative. Through his fiction, Joshi invites readers into stories that are not only imaginative and suspenseful, but also deeply engaged with the future of humanity. He lives in Florida with his family, where he continues to build worlds both real and imagined.
This book has something for everyone. It is so much more than just a sci-fi novel. There is action, suspense, politics, religion, and more! By the end of the book, I felt like I had learned new things and was left with important concepts to think about.
I was immediately drawn in and invested in Max’s journey. As someone who doesn’t typically read sci-fi novels, the futuristic elements were understandable and rooted in modern practices. I also really enjoyed the meta book within a book concept. It was a unique idea that allowed me to reflect on the book more than I probably would’ve without it.
This was such a fascinating read!! I am definitely holding on to this for when the next book comes out. Time travelers from the future are sent back to our world to save an author and his books that are the foundation of the utopian world they currently live in. The message of leaving our planet better for the next generations and the multitude of generations after is so powerful, thought provoking and inspirational. In a world where politics, science and religion tear us apart rather than bring us together, can an Earth of peace, unity, and grace be achieved? Author Robby Joshi makes me a believe. 💕

“Eleven Elements: Book One: Healing Waters is an ambitious, imaginative, and deeply engaging science fiction adventure that blends time travel, futurism, philosophy, and mystery into a compelling exploration of humanity’s future. Robby Joshi creates a richly envisioned world where Earth has seemingly achieved peace, equality, and abundance, yet remains vulnerable to the fragile threads of history and human choice. The novel immediately draws readers into a future society that feels both utopian and precariously dependent on ideas capable of reshaping civilization itself.”
“What stood out most was the novel’s fascinating tension between idealism and uncertainty. Commander Maxilon Renner and his team are not simply traveling through time to complete a mission—they are confronting the unpredictability of history, identity, and human behavior in a world far less evolved than their own. The search for Joshua DeWine and the scattered writings surrounding the Eleven Elements creates an intellectual and emotional mystery that drives the story forward while raising deeper questions about knowledge, progress, and the forces that shape civilization. I especially appreciated how the novel balances large philosophical ideas with grounded emotional stakes and immersive worldbuilding. The contrast between the harmony of the future and the instability of the 21st century creates constant tension, allowing readers to reflect on both the promise and fragility of human advancement. The pacing, conceptual scope, and layered storytelling give the novel a cinematic quality while still maintaining thoughtful emotional depth. Visionary, suspenseful, and intellectually engaging, Eleven Elements: Healing Waters is the kind of science fiction that encourages readers to think deeply about humanity’s future while remaining thoroughly entertaining.”
