Robby Joshi, AIA, is an NCARB-certified licensed architect, urban designer, planner, and speculative fiction author whose work bridges visionary worldbuilding with real-world systems thinking. His professional experience spans townships, commercial centers, high-rises, healthcare, hospitality, technology campuses, data centers, and theme parks. With more than 25 years of experience leading complex projects from concept through construction, he has developed a deep interest in how human environments, social structures, and long-range planning shape the future of civilization.

That perspective informs his fiction. In the Eleven Elements series, Joshi blends time travel, philosophical inquiry, spiritual tension, and high-stakes suspense to explore humanity’s survival, moral evolution, and capacity to imagine a more peaceful world. This book has something for everyone. It is so much more than just a sci-fi novel. There is action, suspense, politics, religion, and more! By the end of the book, I felt like I had learned new things and was left with important concepts to think about.

I was immediately drawn in and invested in Max’s journey. As someone who doesn’t typically read sci-fi novels, the futuristic elements were understandable and rooted in modern practices. I also really enjoyed the meta book within a book concept. It was a unique idea that allowed me to reflect on the book more than I probably would’ve without it.

This was such a fascinating read!! I am definitely holding on to this for when the next book comes out. Time travelers from the future are sent back to our world to save an author and his books that are the foundation of the utopian world they currently live in. The message of leaving our planet better for the next generations and the multitude of generations after is so powerful, thought provoking and inspirational. In a world where politics, science and religion tear us apart rather than bring us together, can an Earth of peace, unity, and grace be achieved? Author Robby Joshi makes me a believe. 💕

I really like the central idea behind Healing Waters: what if the past you're trying to protect has already started changing? That immediately makes Max's mission feel unpredictable. Add broken memories, failed transmissions, a mysterious manuscript, and the possibility of reality collapsing, and there is a lot working beneath the surface. It feels like the kind of science fiction that wants to entertain while also making you think about how fragile history really is.

Healing Waters seems to be built around a question that stays with you: how much would you sacrifice to protect the future? Max Renner has been trained for an impossible responsibility, but training can't prepare him for a past that refuses to stay stable. I particularly like the way memory is woven into the conflict. This book made me think about how fragile our understanding of history and reality really is. The story doesn't treat time travel as a simple way of visiting the past it presents it as something that can completely disrupt everything you thought you knew.
