Resume this action-packed LitRPG progression fantasy series, perfect for fans of The Primal Hunter, He Who Fights with Monsters, and Unbound.

Massive soul damage. Shattered skills. Recovery requires rituals.
Joe the Ritualist trusted his faction leader too much, not seeing Tatum’s blind spot before it was too late, and a catastrophic surge of Divine Energy left his Mana Channels in ruins, his skills in tatters, and his future uncertain.

With natural recovery off the table, Joe designs a way to rebuild himself from the inside crafting new Mana Channels and anchoring them to his body and soul through a bespoke ritual. It’ll take every one of his skills, and every last favor he’s earned.

While the price for power is steep, nothing worth doing is easy. The Ritualist decides there’ll be no more waiting. Now it’s time to work magic on a global scale, and rip what he needs right out of the World Boss’s heart.

One ritual to change the world. One to fix his fate. Both demand the fall of the Jotunn.

With over 1 million copies sold, The Completionist Chronicles is a LitRPG series packed with immersive progression, mechanic-driven character growth, and quest-based advancement. The result is a humorous fantasy adventure that feels like stepping straight into an RPG world.

Perfect for fans of the snarky narrative of Dungeon Crawler Carl, the expansive worldbuilding of Defiance of the Fall, and the clearly defined magical progression of Cradle.

A solid addition to the series. I was interested to see where Krout would take the series after the events of the previous book and am happy to say that I am not disappointed. This book is by nature a little slower due to the main character having a major setback at the end of the last book, but he is able to progress at a good speed while building some better foundations. He is getting set up by Krout to truly become overpowered and I'm looking forward to the next book!

Excellent addition to the series!

I thoroughly enjoyed all of Unmapped's contributions to my absolute favorite series by Krout. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. Since I always read and listen along, the narration by the awesome Luke Daniels just makes Krout's entire multiverse explode into blazing life in my mind's eye. His masterful performance makes immersion, and really the entire experience, so much better. The only downfall is that I cannot wait for the next Kindle and Audible release! Krout, Joe, Luke, the editors, and everyone else just get better and better. Keep up the excellent work, team! This book really helped light up a dark time for me and my family, and I am forever thankful.

Review of advance copy received from Publisher

Purchased via a pre-release.
This entry has brought back some of the highest parts of my enjoyments of the earliest books in the series. Lots more solutions not having stacked ritual solutions, Joe needing to lean on others to build his own path while also building more roads of connections.

The magic and system continues to be expanded and the world(s) of aeternia continue to grow...and of course Joe gets a few backhanded complements from the most regal of characters.

I would recommend for fans of the series.

Review: What is this, number 13 in the chronicles? Each installment gradually gets better despite some dips here and there.

Joe is once again oblivious to inter-personal communication but it comes off endearing. You know, the old bumbling genius persona where he is in constant befuddlement as to why people are pissed at him.

There is a lot to track in this series, and thankfully, you don't have to as the author never drops the ball.

A fun adventure

This book is a great, relatively self-contained adventure. Rather than escalating further, we get to focus on one problem and simply explore the world through that lens. The plot has space to meander a bit and provide a wider view.

It's everything I want from one of these books.

meh. I love the characters and how the book/scenes are written. My issue is that the story lines are just not engaging any more. I finished this book and felt that I could have skipped the whole thing. What really changed? a few upgrades? 14 chapters on newly discovered fake fantasy science? All the story lines/relationships I loved about the early books were glossed over.

Yet another good book

If you are reading The Completionist Chronicles, this is a must read. Book 14 is due out later this year & I am eagerly awaiting it's release. This is a very interesting series by Dakota Krout. I must say, the Full Murderhobo series is my absolute favorite. But this one is even more intense.

Gouda stuff

Amazing how it is still ridiculously punny, but manages to have a level of complex world building that many other novels lack.

Restart the clock!

Great Book As Always

Final pun was disappointing, but literally everything else was great. This is one of the few series that will pull me out of reading burnout

Joe the Ritualistic continues to have punny adventures while discovering he can help his friends while he does his own thing. Who needs tradition and rules? Turns out they are useful sometimes.

For an entire book that is only about the protagonist recovering from the injuries of the previous book, it's not at all bad.
