I definitely didn’t expect it to end that way! & a Jacob to turn out how he was I had something different for book 3 but still very good . & I recommend.
We finally made it to the end, and after the way Book 2 left us hanging, I needed this finale to give me answers immediately. Because WHAT?! I was sitting there like, “Oh, I know you lyin.” The twists just kept coming. And Belle?! Ma’am… after your friend no, your best friend put herself on the line for you, this is what we’re doing? I was stressed the entire time.
At that point, I just had to trust the author to land the plane. And while it didn’t end the way my brain predicted, it honestly ended the way it needed to. Not perfectly neat, not wrapped in a bow but fitting. Melody and Jacyn needed someone willing to sit in the dark with them, and somehow they found that in each other. Scarlett? Whew. Go read it and then come back so we can talk about whether that outcome was deserved. And Jacob? I’m still side-eyeing him because I lowkey think he got off light.
All in all, this trilogy delivered exactly what it promised: mess, drama, questionable choices, and characters that will have you yelling at your Kindle. If you like unhinged arranged marriage chaos that takes you all the way through it, this series is definitely worth the ride. 🔥📚
You did your thang on this finale. Everyone who did Jacyn or anyone he loved wrong got exactly what they deserved and then some. Melody definitely didn’t have the typical marriage esp when Cyn came out to protect Jacyn. That had to be scary for Melody however she learned to embrace them both. Jacob wasn’t ish for the role he played in everything that went down. Dawnna got exactly what she deserved for doing what she did to her sister I am glad she was found and well. Jaliyah is a happy teenager with family who loves her for her no matter what. I love how she connects with Jacyn when he goes to see about her. Kelsius I just love him and I’m so happy he found his person in the end. Lottie well she got showed that God don’t like ugly and her skeletons definitely fell out of her closet. Lydia had to come to terms with a lot of revelations about her children. Bonnie well she played her part and them got why was coming to her in the end. Julianna finally standing up to Lottie was a great thing to witness. Belle got her karma for doing what she did along with Jacob’s plan and Jacob definitely got his. Melody got her happy ending just with a twist and out girl became a billionaire in the end. This was a great ending to an even greater series.
I ate this whole series up so quick. cause one you start you can’t put it down the story unfold so fast I was deeper and deeper and I had to know what was happening next. Great read I highly recommend this 3 book series
This couldn’t ended in pt 2, there was no need for 3 parts. 2 stars for my like/hate of the story. This didn’t change my opinion of the book really. It was a bad story u couldn’t stop reading. Things that should’ve been fleshed out wasn’t, and things you didn’t care too much for was dragged out. I would have loved more time with Jaliyah, and getting to know her character and healing. That was like an after thought when it started out as one of the primary plots. I hated how the author turned Belle against her one and only bff. All these other frds just came out of no where. Anyway I’m glad it’s over.
I’m not gonna lie, I was disappointed with how this one wrapped up. The way Belle and Jacob moved toward the end felt off and didn’t really line up with the characters we got to know in the first two books.
Jacyn being upset about her calling for Cyn was strange to me, especially since Cyn is literally a part of him. That reaction just didn’t make sense. Everything also resolved way too neatly and way too fast, with no real tension or consequences.
It felt like the story lost some of the magic that made the first two books work so well. This finale didn’t fully land for me. (2.5/5)
The drama and mess didn’t stop. I was routing for Jacob and Belle in book 2, but that was for nought. This man can’t do right for nothing and he pulled Belle right into his web. Jacob was behind a whole calculated orchestra. Dawnna, Lottie and Bonnie as well didn’t have a lick of sense or dignity. They stood on being deceitful and manipulative. It just wouldn’t stop. And how did Jacob know everybody’s moves to be everywhere or direct others to be. Jacyn learned of new blood family members but that didn’t pan out. Melody found new family as well. This is just a twister of intertwining families that don’t actually like one another especially if money isn’t involved, and stabs each other in the back at any moment. The secrets that are still revealed are big. When I say Jacob and Kelsius need not to sleep with another woman because all the drama follows after. Thankfully Kelsius finally got it right. I truly feel bad for Jacyn because Cyn was an unhinged beast when he showed. The ending suits me just fine. World wind ride.
There were too many name mix ups between Bonnie and Belle. Did Kellz get custody of Bayou? Did Mellie get custody of her sister? Why wasn’t Mellie in therapy? Why didn’t she fight for the bar? How did her Mom steal ownership from her (according to Delta)? Why wasn’t Delta in therapy to try and recover her memory? We know Jacob was jealous about not having attention, but did he not really love his foster brothers? I guess my first clue could have been him laying in the rain to traumatize his brothers, as well as making Lottie divorce Jacyn. Bonnie and Lottie were really delulu and thought they had complexion for protection. What happened to the doctor that performed the surgery on Lottie? Was that part of Cyn’s trial too? Though it was a serious ride, this didn’t end like I thought it would and there were too many unanswered questions in the end.

Fun said find you something safe to do because playing with Jacyn will ALWAYS get you chopped!!!…I was not expecting that ending and baby what a sweet ending!!!… Melody kept saying she didn’t trust Jacob and told him to his face!!!…Like bro, he was playing in fire and wanted to burn everyone but himself!!!…He didn’t figure there would be other players in this game!!!… Kelsius was all over the place, but found his calm in the storm!!!… Dawna was such a vengeful person, but who would have thought that seeing a person would send her into the pits she was trying to send others and did send others to!!!… The way these family relationships started showing up and blending was crazy!!!…
I waited for the series I was anticipating it. I fell for the characters I loved the underlying message of how so many peoples lives were changed by Hurricane Katrina…… Why this series couldn’t be 5 stars for me is 1. The name mix ups2. Plot twists that are for the wow factor but the ground work wasn’t laid for it to make sense and 3. That rushed ending like huh so much more I want to know and see. The relationship between the new family members. The relationship between Melody her sister and aunt now that her aunt is married to her sisters first love. Did they get Jaliyah out of the system ?
A Single Virgin 3: An Unhinged Arranged Marriage: The Finale
I gave this book five stars because it was a Great Read. This book definitely has the correct title Unhinged because this storyline was written with so much depth. Mental illness is truly real and the author brings it out in this book. This book keeps you turning the pages. This book contains a lot of pain and anxiety and suffering and deranged individuals but it also contains love, romance, and steamy love scenes and karma. This is a must read book.
This was my first read from this author and baby this series did not disappoint. I was on the edge of my seat throughout all 3 books. I laughed, cried and wanted to beat a few characters down at times. I absolutely loved the complexity and deep love in the relationship between Jacyn and the FMC Melody. I plan on being all up and through this author’s catalogue.
What's done in the dark will definitely come to light
The dirt came out in the wash, and the chickens came home to roost. This story was tied up very nicely. No loose ends , everything came out in the end wrapped up in a pretty little bow. I love the way this story ended. It didn't leave anything to the imagination. It told you who got exactly what they deserved. This is definitely a must-read series
This was an outstanding series that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout each release. I don't know why I didn't see how envious and treacherous Jacob really was. I was kinda feeling bad for him but that nicca ain't shyt. I love Cyn, he doesn't play when it comes to Jacyn and the ones he love. Everyone that met Karma whether in hell or jail deserved it.💓💓
I absolutely love the transparency in this book there was so much trauma with the Characters and I like how their stories were told. Melody was so sweet im happy she was able to hold on to some of her family. I would love to see more of kelsius and her aunt and his growth.
What a series! Sooo Cyn is the man in this book and when he can into play I got excited ahh heck! Lottie was holding him back and I’m glad that he found Melody so that he could be his original self. What a awesome read, you want be disappointed
One of the best series I’ve read so far this year. I think I finished all three books in two days. So well written and the perfect amount of suspense and spice. I’m so impressed and can’t wait to read more of this authors work.
Such a great finale to a messy series. People who needed an ending got it. The way that the puppeteer got his was great. They weren't expecting that. True friendships survived by the end. Definitely read this series.
This series is a story of mental health issues, trauma, PTSD and betrayal. When I say it takes you for a ride it didn't miss. I couldn't stop reading because every end was a build up for the next part which I truly enjoyed reading.
Even though I feel like this book was a tad bit rushed at the end it came together good. I really wanted more to transpire with Bell and that damn brother. They deserve the same fate as Lotto. But I understand.
Wow! What a story. I really enjoyed this book. That Jacob was really something else. He manipulated Cyn and His other person ( Jacyn). He was really a horrible person. Melody was the strongest character in this story.
Part 1 and 2 were amazing. The writing, creativity and I don't know if Jacob is the hero or the villain. I do hate the end, can't believe Belle framing jaycyn like that.
Lawd have mercy with the sane and insane Jaycyn and Cyn. Melody have a lot to deal with with the 2 personality. Jacob and Belle finally got theirs as well as Lottie.
