Man, these two have some very repressed feelings going on here. Lariana thinks Muklaem loathes her since he basically fled to his mountain fortress when she and her mother joined the family. Muklaem is pretty much as far as a minotaur can be from loathing when it comes to her. In fact, the reason he left was that he was a little too drawn to the little human that joined the fam.
Hiding out in his fortress home forces the two of them to face the miscommunication. Soon the two are banging it out in the labyrinth and totally coming to terms with the fact they both wanted the same thing, they just didn't realize it.

New book husband
I must be a sticker for miniature because my previous book husband was Rourke from MGMF, but now I'm torn and can't choose!
I loved the build up and tension with the revelation that he didn't hate her.
I read this in one sitting and am sad it's over but can't wait to read more by this author.
