Rate this book
Adventure is closer than you think.

Have you ever felt like you’re just getting through the day instead of actually living it? Like you’re stuck on autopilot, longing for a different season—one that feels more meaningful, more purposeful, more alive? What if the adventure you’re craving has been hiding in your everyday moments all along?

Everyday Adventure is an invitation into a new way of living that reframes true adventure and opens your eyes to the opportunities all around you. You don’t have to scale a mountain, quit your job, or wait for a “someday” season to feel alive. Life to the fullest becomes possible when you realize that today is the only day you’re guaranteed—and it’s full of potential.

Through practical wisdom, honest stories, and a little humor, this book helps you pursue intentionality, resist complacency, and develop the resilience needed to live a meaningful, Jesus-shaped life right where you are.

In this book, you’ll learn

Embrace today with purpose.

Find meaning in mundane.

Cultivate childlike curiosity and wonder.

Break out of your comfort zone.

Build everyday resilience to follow Jesus for the long haul.

Adventure is closer than you think — and life to the fullest begins today.

“Everybody’s working for the weekend”. Great song. Bad way to live your life. Way too often we think “I just need to get through this week”, and then we repeat that cycle the next week.

What’s the antidote?

Live a life of everyday adventure. Read this book.

Stephen isn’t preachy at all here; he’s invitational and welcoming as he challenges all of us to embrace what’s in front of our eyes.

From the first paragraph, this book immediately drew me in. Glasser’s writing is easy to read, yet challenged me with every word. I found myself wanting. But in a good way. Wanting to look for adventure in the mundane. Wanting to look for adventure at given opportunities. Wanting to look for adventure in my home and with my family. It stirred this desire within me to be more intentional with my time and my relationships. And I’m so grateful he wrote this book. Highly recommend to those who are tired of living the everyday, mundane life, and are ready to spice it up by adding some adventure.

This book will increase your enthusiasm for life! I was once told that the difference between a good book and a great book is timing. The reason is that everyone is in a different season of life, and a single book is rarely able to speak into each and every season a person might be in. This book is one of the rare exceptions.

Stephen has artfully created a single book that is able to relate to almost any situation, season, era, or phase of a person’s life. He speaks frankly about our current social norms that we all feel and gives us hope to overcome the battles of everyday life that seem to drag us down.

Stephen not only writes with wisdom, but he writes from experience. Written all over this book are snippets of Stephen’s life—how he has lived through hardships, been encouraged by peers, and been influenced by some of the greats throughout Christian history.

This is truly a book to be picked up and read again and again because of its unique ability to strengthen one’s heart in every season, helping us truly hope for and strive to live an adventure every day.

I was introduced to Everyday Adventure at a time when I really needed a spark. The title alone felt like an invitation to wake up and start living again. Stephen writes with honesty and encouragement, reminding you that joy, purpose, and adventure aren’t “out there” somewhere — they’re woven into the ordinary moments we overlook. This book helped me reconnect with myself and my days in a meaningful way.

This book was amazing! It changed my perspective on how to live my every day life. At the end of each chapter there is a guide to help you process it even more, which is so helpful as it breaks it down in a way to help you apply this to every area of your life. I’m so thankful for this book and I know it’s not a read once and be done with it but more of a tool on how to live my life with an adventure mindset.

This book is simply amazing! The way the author is able to summarize everyday adventures into daily rhythms is so encouraging. The perspective is inspiring and truly relatable as a parent of littles. The author beautifully ties in scriptural references that challenges and inspires! 5/5!!!
