I want more
Glimmer, even as grown adults the child in us comes out when our parents are involved. It's that wish that never gets granted. I hated that for you but loved that you had a safe space, a village, and one heck of a guard dog. Gideon was EVERYTHING... He allowed you to see the truth about everyone and everything. A true man of his word.
Now Cyn... please make this a series because I want everyone's story or to have one.

I liked Glimmer and Gideon’s story. Yes it was a shorter novella like many others in the series and so didn’t have the depth of plot and character development and suspense it had the potential to have, but it was still quite readable and good and you had a sense of liking the characters and rooting for them.
The premise of Glimmer as a runaway bride running off to her childhood friends’ house as a last gasp to escape a forced marriage made an exciting start to the novel. However, the excitement kind of waned after that and was replaced with lover boy, Gideon’s entry and undying love for Glimmer which was well-executed enough that it carried the whole book. I liked the cast of side characters but didn’t get to see much character development with them. Again, like the other books in the series, this was an okay read, but I don’t think this will be exactly memorable and that’s fine.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Loved Gideon, he was truly a protector through and through. I really liked that the MC club was so close knit and that even after the time that past between them, they were all able to join in helping Glimmer with the problem. It sucked her mom was a bitch and honestly, she is the only part of the story where I was like she deserved a swift end because she was just so evil, literally never cared about her daughter. Glimmer almost pissed me off towards the end, but Gideon def said it best she had to see just how trifling her mom was to move on. The spice was def good and enjoyable especially they first encounter being in public, I was like hot holy damn but they both were a bit freak nasty..lol. I really can't wait to see how Haze story goes since you gave a nod to what we know his 10-year jump future looks like. I will be waiting!!

(3.5) I loved Gideon & Glimmer’s relationship. Despite an unconventional start i feel like they had good chemistry and a natural flow to them. Gideon was super attentive and protective of Glimmer, and such a gentle giant when it came to her. Glimmer was a decent FMC for the most part. I enjoyed watching her lean into the found family (which is heavy in this book and thats a trope that I love). She did piss me off towards the end with her naivety but otherwise I didn’t dislike her. I’m very excited to see Haze has a book coming at some point and hopefully we’ll get small peeks of Gideon & Glimmer throughout his story as well. Also, her mother got off too easy for me😤

A king indeed!
10/10 hands down. It was passionate, racy, spicy, thrilling, and everything else. It flowed perfectly from the prologue to the end. Cyn is an awesome storyteller and I was definitely locked in. Gideon is perfect in every way but the way he loves and protects family should be studied. Glimmer is bold, courageous, and beautiful. These two together have a story that’ll melt your heart and keep you on the edge and falling in love with these characters. Loved it!

I was hyped to start this one i been wanting to know glimmer and gideon story . Gideon has always been such a gentle giant even as a kid. Yes, he is big, but he was gentle til you provoked him.
I absolutely love his friendship with haze ever since haze book. I knew they have been bestfriends since forever, but I always wondered Gideon pov his own story, especially with glimmer. Haze was more of brother to him than anything, haze family loved him as well since gideon grandma was a mean one .
She was told she couldn't be around her best friends and never understood why til she overheard her folks talking . Her mom Camille she just not a great mom or wife, all she cares about is herself . Glimmer was a daddys girl and never wanted him hurting if he could do something to comfort him .
Camille didnt give a fuck about glimmer and pretty much handing her over to that disgusting man trick. Her father didnt want this but he was locked up sadly, glimmer definitely didnt wanna marry him. Thank goodness she listened to herself and ran away from that horrible wedding she was forced into and ran to ones she knew who would protect her & gideon was already protective over her. Deja & kyomi were so concerned for her cause they didnt know why they never saw her after Henry was killed .
Gideon had a plan to help by marrying him so trick couldn't get her while haze handles things to get revenge for his father, its not bad situation cause miss glimmer had crush on him when they were younger and he such big and handsome man ,gentle but will fuck you up when its needed.
When he was singing to her while they danced omg I melted he just gets better such a sweet gentle giant and everyone could see how he felt and she felt about him. The bike scene omg!!!

Charlene is the best momma ever. My heart broke for glimmer , to have a mom who doesn't even care or want you, that is such a gut-wrenching pain. i was so angry for her . How can you not love your daughter, glimmer is a beautiful soul. Everything about her is beautiful & kind she just wanted her mom to love her .
The ending made me feel better she knows who truly loves and cares about her ❤️

What A Man! that’s my type of book bae.
He always gave “I ain’t a killer, but don’t push me.” All of that “disarming smile” & “gentle giant” sh-t vanished as soon as it came to HIS WIFE!! lol, but on a serious note, I truly appreciated Gideon’s duality. He handled Glimmer with such care; always a thoughtful partner & safe space for her. He really was a big softie, until it was necessary to show the true meaning of VK!
The MCs had sweet chemistry & intimate interactions. One of my favorite moments between them was:
[“…I needed to see how vicious my husband really was.” “No, you ain’t need to see that.” …“As your wife, I need to know what you’re capable of.”]
I feel like my girl FINALLY understood what G & Haze had been trying to tell her. You are beyond protected with us.
My sweet Glimmer.. lil baby had been through so much mess. I’m so glad she found a safety after the fear & anxiety of that come with fleeing. & in the end she received all of her heart’s desires.

Through sickness and health...
Ms. Cyn, the more I read from your catalog, the more I become invested in your writing. This work of art touched on so many subjects from money to greed. It was disheartening to see Glimmer get the raw end of the stick in her situation. Her mother valued money over her child and shoot her family period. Now Mr. Juke did not play about Glimmer he made it known he wasn't the one or two. The way Gideon grew up made him into an honorable young man. Gideon and Haze were the big men in town. Their power was felt throughout the town. The idea that Gideon had for Glimmer was like hitting the jackpot. He made sure to take care of her through sickness and health. It started with sickness before the vows. I absolutely loved how he created vows as they fell in love. He was a man after her heart.
Ladies and gents, stop what you are doing and explore Cyn's catalog. You will be intrigued just like I am. Her penmanship is fire. Along with her storytelling being on point. Gideon and Glimmer!!
Glimmer found herself in quite a predicament. She was being forced to marry a man who had been eyeing her since she was a teenager. At the last moment, she couldn't go through with it and ended up at the Vicious Kings compound. I was glad that she was able to reunite with her friends whom she considered family. Her marriage of convenience to Gideon turned out to be the best thing that happened to Glimmer. She found the love and acceptance that she had always been looking for which she never received from her mother. Gideon didn't play about Glimmer. He could go from quiet to a guard dog when it came to her. Glimmer's mother and Trick were trash. I did not feel sorry for either one of them once Gideon got finished with them. This book kept me engrossed for every second of it. I can't wait to read Haze's book and I'm hoping Kyomi and Deja will also find their one true love as well. Great job!!

This one was ok. It’s a shorter book so some of the aspects I’d like as far as depth, build up, etc was missing but I gave it a pass. There was just still something missing that I can’t really describe. Like it was cute but also kind of just safe.
Also, when it’s so beyond obvious that a character is shady (her momma) it just annoys me that both Glimmer AND her daddy are complete airheads when it comes to her. Like please be fr.
The daddy seemed like a very incompetent street 🥷 from the prologue to the end. He should’ve just been a damn 9-5 worker cause he seemed to be a habitual fuck up when it came to the street life and looking after his daughter.
It also annoyed me that each chapter was named after one of the MC’s even though the book was 3rd person.
On a positive note, I liked all the vows Gideon expressed and that they waited awhile to be intimate after getting married so quickly.

All I'm gon' say is I'm glad I stuck it out... this one was slow and I almost gave up lol
Gideon was bout that life from childhood. Always loyal, always a protector, always gentle with what he loves. the Laurent family basically took him in as a child and he, Haze, his sister and cousin were instant family and remained that way.
Glimmer was a childhood friend of Haze's sister and cousin, and he viewed her as a sister as well. Some things happened that caused them to lose contact for years until Glimmer needed help and knew Haze was the only one that could help her. What she didn't expect was Gideon stepping in to become her defender, protector and a love like she'd never known. He promised to keep her safe and he would paint the town red behind her and stood on that.
Again, had I not stuck it out, I'd have missed this simply beautiful love story. This one is a really really slow burn but so worth it. I love Glimmer and Gideon together.

Look a my girl Cyn doing her big one with Book 7 of the BLP Breeds Series! Vowed to a Vicious King, was so good I couldn’t put it down.
Glimmer and Gideon’s story was so well written that I was sad when it was over. What started as a marriage of convenience ended up as a love so strong it made me want to find that kind of love. Gideon didn’t play about his wife and protect and loved her with everything he had.
The drama that surrounded them was so intense and I can’t wait to read more about the Vicious Kings and the families that make up the bike club.
If you love a good marriage of convenience romance, then add this book and series to your TBR!

Gideon is m book husband now! There is always something about a grumpy gentle giant that will do it to me every time. He is truly a protector and made it all happen and more. I hate how Glimmer got to that point in her life so glad she was able to get back to where she knew she would be safe. Glimmer clearly was sheltered because she was reckless with her life lol. Not like most because she was stopped but that would have ended bad for her. Hate she had to go through what she did with her mother but damn so glad Gideon didn’t back down. Despite Gideon and Glimmer coming together unconventional I loved the chemistry everything flowed smoothly and just flowed. Glimmer may have lost a lot but she gained so much and more by leaving her old life.

Well Well..I hated how Gideon's grandmother treated him. I loved Haze as his best friend and the love Haze parents gave to Gideon. A child should always be loved. Easier said then done. Glimmer's mother 😡. Gideon did not play. He was the oerfect gentleman. I knew once her mom told that lie to come see her alone..it was a mess. Loved VK. They were there for every moment. Gideon did best. Let Glimmer see for herself that her mom was trash. Now in my opinion she should have been left there same as Trick🧐🧐. Glad her Dad was true..he worried me for a minute. G&G were the cutest. She was crazy about him 💞✨️Loved it

Though they knew each other as children, it had been many years since they last saw each other, and both had suffered terrible losses. When he found out Glimmer's story, Gideon stepped up and offered to marry her to keep her safe from Trick. Maybe her evil mother Camille should have offered herself up on the sacrificial altar. The marriage that started out as a way out, quickly revealed strong feelings on both sides. Every woman needs a Gideon!

one of the best in the series
Ive been reading each book in this series/collection and this is definitely in the top. The storyline was intriguing - we had the underlying issue with Trick and the budding romance with the main characters. Very well rounded and engaging book. Minor observation - the MMC was described as having locs butttt the man in the cover does not. Those small details always bother me. But obvi it doesn’t take away from the story. Definitely dont skip this one. I think this is the only one I have written a review for so far because it was that good.

This book made me smile. I love a gentle giant who doesn't play about his people. And to think Glimmer's mom tried to play in his face. Girl bye.
Anyway, Gideon was laid-back and easy going until he wasn't. Glimmer was sweet and naive. Running away and landing on the steps of the Vicious Kings compound was her saving grace. She found her family and they righted the wrongs. She also found love, peace, and a home in Gideon.
Great story Cyn. Can't wait to read Haze's story.

Loved It
A great story! Glimmer & Gideon, who knew they would connect in the manner they did! The family relationships are interesting,especially Gideon relationship with his best friend Haze's family ( strong) Glimmer was a daddy's girl, but strive to have that same love from her mother! Gideon was very b protective of Glimmer and his love for her was unmatched! They would face obstacles,but the love and support of family and friends help them overcome the trials and tribulations not outside forces! I enjoyed the epilogue and look forward to Haze story!

I really wanted to score this higher. It started off well with character identification. Then after the runaway bride scene Glimmer became a scared white woman around people she grew up with. How do you not know you're safe after you crash these peoples house and they let you sleep for two days. Now Gideon was a different story. He was 5 stars. Strung, supportive all of that. Then to make Glimmer beat up another woman out of jealousy but cant muster an ounce of strength towards her evil! Mother?

Loved it!!!
I loved this story Gideon came in calming Glimmer down taking control in a gentle nature while protecting her. He fell immediately and made sure her and her father was straight. I am glad she had Haze, Kyomi, and Deja in her corner and embraced her after all that time like she was the family she was!! Im glad Glimmer got her happily ever after with her husband and her dad free by her side!! Five stars Ms. Cyn!!🥰

I want more … I want to see more of their growth and relationship as adults and as they built over the 10+ years ! I just knew they were gonna have about 3 kids already lol Gideon ain’t play from the jump even as kids … also love how their marriage wasn’t in vain !!! Can’t wait to read Haze book because who tf he married to ?

Awesome Read
Gideon was the perfect man for Glimmer. After losing her dad, he provided all the love she needed. Camille didn't love anyone, but Camille. Haze and the girls provided the family life she needed, but Gideon was her gentle giant. He was a natural protector. He gave Trick and Camille exactly what they deserved. He let everyone know that his wife wasn't to be touched. Awesome read!
