Natalie Kane, what are you putting in these books?! It’s like I open it up, hit play on the audiobook and INSTANTLY I am sucked in. Every single book in this series so far was read in one sitting. There is no such thing as taking a break when it comes to The Kings of Vegas!

“Use your words, savage girl.”

Jason Clark & Mollie Stark’s duet narration was music to my ears. Mollie Stark is a newer narrator to me and I LOVED her voice! I can’t recommend it enough, this audiobook was a 100/10💫!

Violet & Mateo’s story was a standout in the series for me because of how insanely STRONG, and FIERCE Violet was. She was literally a perfect match for Mateo, in and out of the fighting ring. Even the other Kings were impressed with her power.

Mateo was a man obsessed. He was literally down bad from first sight and had several tricks up his sleeve to have her in his life! 🤭

Violet wasn’t going to stop until she found her sister. I’m glad she was able to find Mateo to help her on her quest! (I am also SO READY to finally meet the BIG BAD, IYKYK. Carson’s book is coming!)

Oh how I loved Mateo and Violet!!

I loved all of the King’s of Vegas, but Mateo and Violet have set a very high standard for the others before them.

I loved how Mateo knew that Violet was his from the first moment that he laid eyes on her. Violet’s sass towards Mateo and their banter back and forth was priceless. She wasn’t scared of him and let him know it every chance that she got.

Now, the scene at the tattoo shop left me kind of heart broken because how was Mateo left things!

Audiobook was everything that I thought it would be and more. It was fabulous ❣️❣️

Duet style narration was done by Jason Clarke and Molly Starks. Jason Clarke performing Mateo was perfect. He pulled off Mateo’s sexy stern voice with perfection. Molly Stark also did an awesome voice for Violet. These two made you feel like you were part of their family.

Talk about obsession at first sight! For the characters and for myself! Natalie, what in the world do you put in these books?! Because I CANNOT GET ENOUGH.

The moment Mateo lays eyes on Violet, she becomes his obsession. He is a mafia king and an underground fighter and crazy protective of those he loves. And Violet is a tattoo artist. I love her! She's a total baddie! She doesn't take crap from anybody. She's strong, fierce, and will stand her ground. No matter what Violet said or did to him, it only made Mateo fall harder. There was some mutual stalking going on and it was so fun. These two were absolutely the perfect match for each other.

🎧 This is a duet narration by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark. These two created absolute magic with this audiobook. This performance was top tier and I absolutely ate it up. 10/10!!!

I absolutely LOVED Savage King by Natalie Kane; it is an incredible love at first sight Mafia love story. Mafia romance has not been one of my preferred genres in the past, but Savage King has changed that. It is the third book in Kings of Vegas series. Kristen Proby writing as Natalie Kane continues to show that she is an amazing storyteller. Natalie Kane will be a must-read author for me. I was hooked from the first few pages, and it was impossible to put Savage King down, it filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, and I loved every moment on every page. Savage King is one of my favorite books that I have read recently, it kept me on the edge of my seat. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? Savage King is the story of Mateo Cabrera, one of the Kings of Vegas and Violet Walker, tattoo artist. Violet was living in Seattle with her younger sister, eighteen-year-old, Rose, when she disappeared five years ago after attending an MMA fight. Two years later, Violet receives a letter from Rose postmarked from Las Vegas, telling her that she is safe and no longer in Seattle. Violet immediately moved to Las Vegas, in search of Rose, and works at Strip Ink as a tattoo artist. For months Violets has been going to Mateo’s underground fight club in search of Rose and Damien. Mateo first sees Violet on the security cameras at his underground fight club and is immediately attracted to her. He asks his bodyguard to detain her following his fight. I love Violet’s spunk. Mateo takes Violet home, something that he has never done and things quickly heat up between them. I love how they discover each other’s body piercings. Julian makes Mateo aware that Violet was snooping around is computer and searching online for information about him. One of my favorite things is how Julian manipulated the search results so that Mateo and Violet could accidentally meet again. Another favorite part is the tattoo that Mateo gets from Violet, and the significance of the tattoo and how Violet replicates it on her back. I especially love the tattoo that Mateo gets instead of a wedding band. I love everything that Mateo does for Violet to make her feel and keep her safe. As Violet and Mateo continue spend time together looking for Rose, things change between them. I love the chemistry between Violet and Mateo. I love the conversations between them that flow so easily, with innuendos and playful banter, with a dirty talking Mateo. I love the nickname “Savage” that Mateo calls Violet, and Violet’s safe word. I love all the little things they do for each other. I love all the heart-to-heart conversations that take place in Savage King, especially when Violet shares her search for Rose and Mateo’s promise to find her. I love everything that Mateo does for Violet and Rose. The darker side of mafia romance was very well written, intriguing, and entertaining. I loved that Savage King is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Violet and Mateo are facing that need to be resolved, especially finding Rose. Plot twists put their relationship and Violet’s life in jeopardy. I love all the unexpected surprises that are exposed as a result of the plot twists. I love the changes that take place in Mateo because of his love for Violet. I love everything that Mateo does for Violet to make her dreams come true. I love ending of Violet and Mateo’s love story, how both Violet and Mateo change because of their love for one another, and the changes they make in their lives so that they can have a life together. I love that the finally admit their love for each other. I love that it was the perfect ending to their love story. My favorite part is Mateo’s proposal and the location of the proposal and how quickly they get married. I love when then call each other “husband’ and “wife.” My favorite part is how Natalie Kane incorporates the picture on the cover and the title of the book into Violet and Mateo’s love story. Another favorite part is how the epilogue is told from Mateo’s perspective that take place one year later, it is the perfect ending of their love story. My favorite part of the story is the bonus epilogue that takes place twenty years later and told from Violet’s perspective, and how it goes above and beyond happily ever after. I love everything about the bonus epilogue. Another favorite part is the preview for Vicious King, cannot wait to read it! I really enjoy how the book is written in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. Savage King is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments that I have come to love and expect in a love story, and Natalie Kane did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists and surprises that filled this page turner. I especially love all the moments that make me laugh. I love Violet’s friendship with both Natasha, Lulu, and Scarlett. I loved catching up with all the Kings of Vegas. I love the family dynamic in Savage King, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Kings of Vegas. It feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved all the characters in Savage King, who does not love a love at first sight Mafia romance love story. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Highly recommend this incredible love story. Received an advanced copy from the author.

There is just something about the Kings of Vegas series that completely pulls me in, and Savage King might just be my favorite yet. While each book can technically be read as a standalone, I cannot recommend enough that you read this series in order. There is an overarching storyline that continues to build with each book, and watching all the pieces come together makes the journey that much more satisfying.

Mateo is one of the Kings of Vegas, a man who runs boxing clubs, MMA gyms, and, let's just say... fights that definitely don't come with a permit. He's dangerous, intimidating, and not exactly the kind of man you'd expect to fall hard. In fact, he's insistent on staying single. Then... Violet walks into his world looking for her missing younger sister, Rosie, who was kidnapped and trafficked seven years ago, and suddenly this ruthless King becomes completely and utterly obsessed. I mean, come on... they basically stalk each other, and I found it absolutely hilarious.

......And I. ATE. IT. UP.

What I loved most is that Natalie Kane never tries to convince you these two belong together, you FEEL it. Mateo's love for Violet radiates from every page. Yes, they face obstacle after obstacle, but I never once questioned his devotion to her. His protectiveness never felt possessive; it came from a place of wanting to keep the woman he loves safe, and it completely melted my heart.

But let's be clear... Violet is no damsel in distress.

She has one of the sassiest mouths I've ever read, refuses to back down from anyone, and can absolutely handle herself after years of fighting. She is fierce, resilient, and one of the strongest heroines I've read in a long time. She doesn't need someone to save her; she chooses to stand beside Mateo, and together they become an unstoppable force.

This book never slows down. Between the action, danger, underground fights, and the desperate search for Rosie, I found myself flying through the audio because I had to know what happened next.
One of my favorite parts, though, wasn't even the romance. It was the family Natalie has created around these characters. The women immediately take Violet under their wing, showing her what it means to love one of the Kings, and I absolutely adored every scene with them. None of them are family by blood, but they would lay down their lives for one another without hesitation. Their loyalty, fierce protectiveness, and unwavering love for each other gave this dark romance so much heart.

I was honored to listen to this one on audio, and WOW... the duet narration by Mollie Stark and Jason Clarke was absolutely brilliant. Their performances brought so much depth and emotion to Mateo and Violet that I felt completely immersed in every scene. I swear these two are addictive to listen to. Every conversation, every tense moment, and every ounce of chemistry leapt through my headphones. They didn't just narrate this story, they performed it, and it elevated an already incredible book into an unforgettable listening experience. I cannot recommend the audio enough.

Mateo and Violet completely stole my heart, and once again Natalie Kane reminded me why this series is one I recommend every chance I get. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be over here impatiently waiting for the next King, Carson, to ruin my life in the best possible way.

Savage King is book three in the Kings of Vegas series and is the story of Violet and Mateo. This is a strangers to lovers, mafia, possessive/obsessive MMC, found family romance.

Mateo is one of the four Kings of Vegas, mafia men who each have their hands in multiple businesses, both nefarious and legitimate. Mateo is a man of particular tastes and when he needs an outlet for his aggression, he visits one of his businesses, an underground fight club. Mateo never expected to see someone who could catch his attention, until he sees Violet standing in the crowd. Intrigued by her, Mateo arranges a meeting and instantly feels a connection and convinces Violet to leave with him.

Violet’s sister walked out the door five years ago and disappeared without a trace and Violet has been searching for her ever since. A letter from her sister, postmarked from Vegas has Violet up and moving to continue her search. Two years later, Violet is still searching Vegas and underground fights for her sister, with no luck. Violet is at a fight when she overhears that the owner is fighting that night and she thinks this may be her break in locating her sister, who has been trafficked. What she did not expect is the wall of muscle, Mateo to be the owner of the club. When Mateo asks her to wait for him, she realizes this is her opportunity and uses his desire for her to gets the answers she needs and goes home with him.

From the very beginning of this book, I was hooked! Mateo is unhinged but only for Violet. Violet is a feisty FMC who knows what she wants but feels driven to search for her sister and rescue her no matter the cost of what she has to do. Mateo and Violet both stalk one another or so she thinks, not realizing that Mateo is a master at this game of cat and mouse. The chemistry between them was an inferno and only got hotter throughout the book. Violet and Mateo’s connection was undeniable and once she learned she had someone in her corner who she could trust, Violet opened up and allowed Mateo and his brothers to help her search for her sister. They accepted her for who she was and made sure she knew they had her back when it counted.

There is an element of suspense that will keep you guessing and the plot is well written, well-paced and more than enough spice to satisfy you and leave you in a puddle. The audiobook is narrated by Jason Clark and Mollie Stark and their performance was perfect for the voices of Mateo and Violet. Mollie was able to bring Violet’s emotions to life and make you feel her desperation to find her sister as well as make her desire for Mateo feel real. Jason’s portrayal of Mateo was also perfect, voicing his growly rasp that will make you weak in the knees.

There are books you enjoy, books you binge and then there are books that completely hijack your life until you've finished them. Savage King is the crown jewel of the latter category and I am SAT for this addictive story!

I went in expecting a dark, intense romance and came out emotionally compromised, sleep-deprived and as obsessed with Mateo and Violet as our MMC is for our heroine. Probably more if I'm being honest.

Mateo and Violet's chemistry is ELECTRIC and crackles with tension, every confrontation feels so high stakes and every other page had me kicking my feet or clutching my chest a bit -- sometimes simultaneously. I didn't stand a chance against this wildly addictive story.

Mateo is everything I hoped he'd be. Obsessed, possessive, protective and SO FREAKING HOT. And Violet was written as perfectly as I can imagine an FMC being brought to life on the page. She's fierce, stubborn, independent and refuses to be intimidated by anyone — especially not Mateo. She gives as good as she gets, which makes their dynamic endlessly entertaining.

The banter is sharp and the push-and-pull between them is executed so perfectly that I found myself grinning like an idiot a whole lot while listening to this one.

What I continue to love most about this series is that the romance isn't the only thing carrying the story. The Kings of Vegas brotherhood remains one of the strongest aspects of the entire world. Beneath all the chaos, danger and violence is an unshakable bond between these men that gives the series so much heart. I also loved getting glimpses of the women and the family they've created together. The friendships and loyalty woven throughout the story add so much depth and make the emotional moments hit even harder.

The pacing is relentless with drama and angst, not to mention heart-in-your-throat moments at every turn. I blasted through this story in one day. I literally couldn't stop listening.

That's largely because this audiobook deserves a standing ovation, with Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark absolutely crushing these performances. Jason delivers Mateo's possessive, protective intensity while Mollie captures Violet's fire, strength and sharp edges flawlessly. Together, their duet narration elevates an already fantastic story into a completely addictive experience.

Savage King is emotional, scorching hot, action-packed and impossible to put down. Natalie somehow continues to raise the bar with every book, and this may be my favorite yet. By the end, my heart was full, my emotions were in shambles and my immediate thought was "why did i finish this so fast because now it's over; dummy."

An absolute five-star read and listen. I loved this book with my whole heart.

One of my most anticipated series and reads and Natalie aka Kristen Proby just keeps on freaking delivering.

Violet, her sister was supposed to be gone for a few hours, but those hours turned to seven years. She stayed in Seattle, praying for a miracle and when it was delivered in the form of a letter she packed up and moved to Las Vegas.

For the past two years in Vegas, she has searched high and low for clues. And she has been unsuccessful, until she sees Mateo.

Finding out he is the owner of the fight club, fills her with hope and determination to get some answers.

Mateo... This man 🔥🥵

He is one of four Kings of Vegas. He has built and empire, and he alongside his brothers rule their city and businesses with an iron fist. He doesn't trust those who aren't in his circle. And love. Well he didn't believe in it until his eyes land on a tattooed, red head in his fight club. And his done for.

Firstly, Violet was a kickass heroine. I loved her. She was absolutely fierce for those she loved. Her strength and courage was truly something else. And when she's jealous, she will absolutely take you the f*** down. But when she is vulnerable 💔 only one man got to hold her and protect her.

Mateo and Violet's book, might just be my favourite in this series...(well Carson might change it...but for now)...the chemistry between these two set these pages alight, the spice was spicing and the suspense weaved in had me on the edge of my seat.

The twists I saw coming, and I was glad I was on point with my theories lol.

The obsession the main characters had with each other was on another level and man was I here for it.

(I would admit,at one point I wanted to hit Mateo upside the head) 🤣

This book was narrated in duet by 𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒌 & 𝑱𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒆.

𝑴𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑎𝑠 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒕. This narrators voice was clear, with a bit of a smoky/husky tone but also sharp, with a hint of wavering to show vulnerability and embodied Violet protectiveness/ fierceness and tenderness (when required) perfectly.

His voice had a rumbling and throaty effect, but also held a commanding, clipped and toneless effect when it came to certain parts of the book and it was a perfect narration for Mateo's character.

I can't stop thinking about this book! So damn good 10/10 recommend.

I was beyond excited to dive into an immersive experience with Savage King by Natalie Kane, and oh my—this story completely stole my breath and my heart. Natalie Kane has left me emotionally rung out yet again; I honestly don’t know what she put in these pages, but I devoured every single word.

From the very first chapter, I was hooked. The banter, the chemistry, the sass, and the palpable tension between Mateo and Violet were absolute perfection—a masterclass in the push-and-pull dynamic. Their relationship was explosive in the sexiest ways, and frankly, I felt like I needed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation after some of their scenes.

Violet is an incredible heroine—fierce, headstrong, and independent. She was forced to grow up faster than most, and her unwavering dedication to finding her missing sister tugged at my heartstrings. She is a force to be reckoned with, not just because she can throw a punch, but because she’s a woman who isn’t afraid to challenge a man like Mateo. And Mateo? He fell hard. While he’s a hardcore, protective alpha who would burn the world down for his girl, he met his match in Violet. Seeing them stalk each other was exhilarating. Despite his "red flags," he is the ultimate green flag in my book—especially in those quiet, intimate moments, like when he washes her hair. It was a beautiful contrast to his dangerous, possessive nature, and I loved that Violet was just as down-bad for him as he was for her.

Beyond the romance, I loved how the story highlights the brotherhood of the Kings of Vegas. Even amidst the drama and vigilante violence, their bond remains the heart of the series. It was wonderful to check in with the other ladies and see the support system they’ve built together.

The audiobook experience, narrated by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark, is an absolute must. The duet narration is executed flawlessly; they bring every ounce of grit, pain, and passion to life, amped up ten-fold. Jason’s growl is nothing short of delicious, and Mollie’s portrayal of Violet’s fire is spot-on. They make you feel every emotion, turning an already incredible story into an unforgettable performance.

Savage King is a high-stakes, cat-and-mouse thrill ride that I couldn't put down. I’m already reeling from the teaser at the end and am beyond giddy to get my hands on Carson’s story next. If you’re looking for a dark, intense, and deeply romantic mafia read, this is it.

Mateo. Violet. Savage King by Natalie Kane.

I love a man who is completely over the top (I’d use a stronger word, but Amazon likes to punish reviews for that), and Mateo is that man.

If you’ve read Natalie Kane - or her alter ego, Kristen Proby - you already know one thing: she writes incredibly strong heroines. Violet has been through more than anyone should have to endure, yet she’s resilient, fierce, and refuses to let her past define her. Those are exactly the qualities that make Mateo completely obsessed with her.

I got this book yesterday morning … and I’ve already reread it. That’s not unheard of for me when it comes to Natalie, especially because I love pulling highlights for edits and finding every excuse to hype up my favorite authors.

At first glance, you think this is just a stalker-meets-stalker romance. But the deeper you get, the more you realize these two are constantly trying to stay one step ahead of each other. Mateo, however, is playing an entirely different game. He’s so meticulous that he’s already planned where Violet will end up before she even realizes she’s heading there. In real life? Absolutely terrifying. In romance books? Sign me up.

I also loved watching their relationship develop through the banter and meet ups. Especially the gym when Mateo casually informs everyone else that he’ll be sparring with Violet, and it’s through those moments that she finally trusts him enough to tell him she’s been searching for her missing sister. From there, the story becomes so much more than a dark romance. It’s about healing, found family, and finally realizing your worth isn’t tied to what you can do for other people.

Mateo never pretends to be the hero. He’s a mafia king, and he’s very clear: “I’m not a good man. I’m good to you, but I’m not a good man.” That line perfectly sums him up. He does terrible things to even worse people, and somehow Natalie makes you fall hopelessly in love with him anyway.

Matteo and Violet? Absolute chaos. They literally stalk each other… and somehow I was cheering them on the entire time. 🚩😂 Their banter was razor sharp, the tension was delicious, and the chemistry? She’s fierce, independent, loyal, and would burn the world down for the people she loves. Together they are explosive in every possible way.

But here’s why this series keeps pulling me back…

Natalie never relies on spice alone. Yes, the steam is scorching, but it’s wrapped around an emotional story with genuine heart. Violet’s relentless determination to find her sister hit me right in the feels, and the found family dynamic within the Kings of Vegas continues to be one of my favourite parts of this series. Watching these dangerous men become each other’s family—and seeing the women build their own unbreakable bond—adds so much depth beyond the romance.

This series just keeps getting better, and somehow Savage King has become my favourite so far.

Savage King is book three in the Kings of Vegas series by Natalie King, and it had everything I want in a dark romance. Stalking, underground fight clubs, morally gray men who are completely obsessed with their women, plenty of past trauma, touch her and die energy, a total badass FMC, witty banter, and, of course, lots of spice.This is Mateo and Violet's story, and I can honestly say it was my favorite of the series. I never thought anything would top book two, but this one absolutely did.

Five years after Violet's sister disappeared, she receives a letter from her that was postmarked in Las Vegas. The letter gives her one clue to find someone named Damian. Determined to uncover the truth, Violet heads to Vegas and ends up going to underground fight clubs in search of answers. During her search, she crosses paths with Mateo, one of the Kings of Vegas. He runs the fight club and on this night, he is in the ring himself.

The moment Mateo sees Violet, he becomes completely obsessed with her. Violet, however, has one goal, finding her sister. She has no problem using Mateo to get the information she needs. Their relationship quickly turns into a thrilling cat-and-mouse game as Violet digs for answers while Mateo sets traps to keep her close. Their chemistry is undeniable, and neither of them stands a chance of staying away from the other. As the story unfolds, Mateo and the rest of the Kings join Violet's search for her sister and Damian, leaving plenty of bodies in their path.

I received both the ARC and ALC from Natalie King, so I was able to enjoy an immersive read. I flew through this book because I could not put it down. The pacing was quick, the story flowed, and Mateo and Violet were everything I wanted in main characters. Violet was fierce, fearless, and never backed down from what she wanted. Mateo was protective, possessive, completely obsessed, and terrifying to anyone who stood in his way. I especially loved Violet's sharp wit and the banter between her and Mateo. I also loved seeing the other Kings and their wives make appearances throughout the story.

The audiobook was narrated by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark, and they were the perfect choices for these characters. Mollie Stark captured Violet's sass and determination perfectly, while Jason Clarke brought Mateo's intensity and obsession for Violet to life.
Overall, this was an addictive, spicy, action packed dark romance that kept me hooked from beginning to end.

“Use your words, Savage Girl”

I can’t, I’m struggling to find the words to express just how much I loved Mateo & Violet, and to be honest this whole series so far! You know how you read some book series’s that you like maybe even love, well I think Natalie Kane must be adding crack or something to this series because I am obsessed, I cannot get enough, I’ve devoured every book in one go, and have already re-read/re-listened to each book!

The duet narration by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark was perfect. These are both newer narrators to me but I absolutely loved their performance and can’t wait to listen to more of their work! Jason absolutely embodied Mateo’s gruff, growly, sexy voice. Mollie also personified the determined, feisty persona of Violet perfectly. The really pulled me into the story and kept me hooked on every word.

Mateo has rocketed to the top spot for me, he was everything I want in an mmc - obsessive, protective, possessive and absolutely gone for Violet! And Violet, she was everything I love on a fmc - strong willed, feisty, determined, resilient… I want to be her when I grow up please! You know minus the whole missing sister trauma. Their banter was on point. Their chemistry was off the charts!

I loved how Mateo knew from the instant he spotted Violet that she was it for him and he would do whatever it takes to make her his, happily accepting whatever attention she gives him while trying to prove himself and earn her trust. As much as Violet tries to keep him at a distance (when she drugs his drink so she can snoop on him and it just makes him more obsessed 😍) nothing deters him it just makes him fall harder. I loved their back and forth. The way he was desperate for her to trust him with her secrets, but instead of trying to force her to reveal them he just kept showing up and being there with her had me falling for him so much harder. The scene in the tattoo shop (& afterwards) almost broke my heart (& had me sweating 🥵) and then the scene where Violet has the gun and Mateo talks her through giving it to him, had me on the edge of my seat (I’m trying not to give any spoilers). I couldn’t put it down!

I also love how all the kings come together to help & support each other and now also the women do the same. I love the friendships the girls are all forging together.

Savage King is my favourite of the series so far, I’m completely obsessed with Mateo & Violet! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I will never stop recommending this to anyone and everyone who’ll listen! I cannot wait for Carson’s story, the final King of Vegas 😍

Natalie Kane dang near took me out with this book! Mateo and Violet were so insanely hot I might never recover.

For Mateo it’s obsession at first sight. Literally from the moment he sees her at his fight club he says “MINE”. Violet is instantly attracted to Mateo, but because of her past and why she’s in his club, also cautious and suspicious. Going forward they are both, unbeknownst to the other, stalking each other. After their one night stand I was glued to my kindle watching these two circle each other, waiting with baited breath for them to learn the truth about one another. Their banter and tension were delicious, their chemistry undeniable.

Mateo is obsessed, possessive, protective, and unhinged! Violet is strong, fierce, independent, and makes Mateo work for it every step of the way. These two are like kerosene and a match, and when together absolutely explosive! Watching Violet do everything in her power to find her sister had my heart in a vice grip, and when she finally tells Mateo everything and he vows to help her I felt the weight lift off my shoulders like I WAS Violet. Mateo might be a scary tatted mafia king, but he worships at Violet’s alter and will do anything for her.

My favorite part of this series is the found family. First the men who are brothers in every way that counts, and then the way they have invited each King’s woman into their familly. They are all soft only for the women and it always melts my heart. And I LOVE the sisterhood the women have created….they have each other’s backs, helping to navigate the world of being a mafia queen.

And the audio! Holy hotness batman it is phenomenal. No notes! Jason Clarke can do no wrong in my book and he is absolute perfection as Mateo! His growls bring me to my knees, but my favorite part is when you can hear the smile in his voice. It's the cutest thing ever. Of course, that only comes out when he’s talking to or about Violet, and every time I melt into a puddle. This was my first audio with Mollie Stark and I came away adoring her. She brought Violet to life with her fierce attitude and softer vulnerable moments. They took us on an emotional rollercoaster that made it impossible to stop!

This is one of my favorite series and I can’t believe we only have one book left! I have been a Rome girl from the start, but if there’s anyone that can top him it will be Carson. I am so intrigued by him. He’s brutal and lethal, and I love how sweet and soft he is with his brother’s women. Every time he talks I get more wrapped around his finger. I can’t wait to find out more about him and see where Natalie takes us as she wraps up their story!

What did Natalie Kane ( aka Kristen Proby) put in this book? Cause, I devoured it!

I felt like I needed mouth to mouth because Matteo and Violet literally stole my breath. This might be my favorite in the series thus far and I have loved them all.

This book! I was hooked right out the gate. These two, the banter, the chemistry, the sass, the tension, all palpable and just oozing off the pages. The push and pull was just a chefs kiss. Their relationship was explosive (in the sexiest ways) and so hot.

I love how fierce, independent and headstrong Violet was. She was a force to be reckoned with. She was forced to grow up faster than most and her past will pull at your heartstrings. The way she stepped up took care of her sister, fought for her when missing and then never gave up on her was just so well written.

Oh Matteo, boy did he fall hard. Lol. He was (is) all hard core but he met his match with Violet. She challenged him, wasn’t scared of him. I mean they stalked each other. 😆😆so many red flags, but hell they are both walking green flags for me. He made her feel safe and took care of her. He was a true protective, possessive alpha, who would burn the world down for his girl. I mean I LOVE a good “you’re mine” moment. But, when he washes her hair…. Ya’ll. I can’t. They both made me loose my breath. But listen, she was also possessive of him and I loved it. Give me a girl who is just as down bad for her man as he is of his woman. What a ride they took me on.

One of the things I loved the most from the story line is that even with all the drama, violence, and vigilante works these men, the Kings Of Vegas are a brotherhood and family. I love their bond so much. It was great to see all the ladies too. I love how they support each other and it was great getting updates on them. Excellent read.

Now let’s talk audiobook. Agh! It was so good on audio. The performance put on by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark in Duet could not have been executed any better. They amped up this book 10 fold and the storyline was already on point. They made you feel every emotion, the grit, the pain, the love. Their characterizations were spot on. I loved them working together on this one.

I don't know what Natalie is putting in these books but it's like catnip for my soul. I did an immersive read of this title and when I tell you, I could not put it down or pull it out of my earholes, I am not exaggerating. This book consumed me from start to finish. The audio absolutely slayed. Jason Clark and Mollie Stark were absolute perfection. He is the perfect Mateo and when he calls her “Savage” I had to still my beating heart. I don’t think I have ever read or listened to a book with a more appropriate nickname and voice to say it. Mollie absolutely nailed it as Violet.

“You’re a savage little thing, aren’t you?”

When Violet walks into Mateo’s fight club, he knows she needs to be his. However she is no wallflower, she is fierce and determined. She stands up to Mateo and the banter is unreal between these two. No one dares challenge Mateo, until Violet. His little Savage! The push and pull between these two in perfection and the suspense and danger that has been prevalent throughout the series keeps the story moving and kept me on the edge of my seat. Violet is determined to find her sister who was taken 5 years ago. She has not had any support from the police. She is unsure if Mateo is involved with her sister's disappearance, so while she tries to keep her heart guarded, their chemistry is undeniable. When they both realize they are after the same man, Mateo pools his resources to support her. When he gives her the apartment because he is sure they are bringing her sister home. I think I did a little cheer!

“Why 12:37?” I smile into the darkness, thinking of the watch that she etched into my side. “That’s the first minute I ever laid eyes on you, and it changed every moment after for the rest of my life.”

Natalie is unmatched, and continues to weave an amazing story while giving me ALL the feels. The romance, the danger, the suspense, and yes the spice are absolute perfection and I cannot say enough about this book. I know we have one more book to go, and I can’t wait for the next KING, but also I need this suspense to end…not exactly a cliffhanger, but IYKYK. I wish I could give this book infinity stars!

I mean it, this is the ultimate mafia romance with high-octane action, including intense, potentially triggering scenes, with amazingly written characters full of emotion, intelligence, and so much strength! Mateo won me over with his OTT protective and possessive vibe that shined in his willingness to leave the world scorched on Violet’s behalf. You know a mafia romance is good when the MMC with red flag habits turns into a romantic green flag thrower for his lady!😉 Then there’s Violet, who embodies every quality I look for in a favorite FMC… a strong will, indelible loyalty, smart, a sharp wit, and an ability to hold her own with a powerful man. The brotherhood of the Kings of Vegas was once again a major highlight for me, but so was the girl squad formed by their wives. I loved the way the other ladies accepted Violet. The banter and camaraderie was a fantastic leveler for the darker themes. Mateo and Violet generated absolute fire together passion-wise, while also having some surprisingly sweet moments. I can’t get enough of the high-angst, high-emotion suspense, and the action was beyond riveting! Words cannot express how excited I am for Carson’s story!

The audio was narrated in duet format by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark, who were absolutely phenomenal! They truly elevated this layered tale to a mind-blowing roller coaster ride of mafia v!0l3nce, emotion, suspense, passion, and romance that I couldn’t get enough of!! I’m so hooked on these friendships, the loyalty, and the enterprises they’ve built together. Having them brought to life by such a talented pair of narrators just adds to the success of the story! I mean, Jason Clarke as Mateo with the possessive growl in his voice? Enough said! Mollie Stark slayed as Violet, showing strength, sass, and emotion with ease! What a pairing!!🤩

This book was so damn good!

SAVAGE KING, Kings Of Vegas #3, was a full on, dark, tension and action filled, sizzling hot romance which was so addictive. Having the audio for a full immersive read was a huge bonus and had me hooked fromt he first secene. There was no putting this baby down, I devoured it in one sitting.

Mafia King and underground fighter Mateo Cabrera is a man obsessed. From the moment he catches sight of the red haired beauty he wants to possess, protect and own her, and nothing is going to stop him. Violet Walker is a tattoo artist desperately searching for her missing sister. Violet is smart, fierce, sassy, and not easily intimidated ... even by a King of Vegas!

Mateo and Violet's chemistry is explosive, the banter is sublime, and their spice is sizzling. There are perfect for each other. Violet continually challenges Mateo, and it only makes him fall harder. She is hiding a secret and when he discovers what it is nothing will stop him from heling her.Violet slowly falls for Mateo, she sees the man hiding beneath the volatile facade.

I cannot praise the narration of Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark enough, they gave the perfect narration. Jason has always been a favourite of mine, and his growly, possessive, protective portrayal of Mateo was sublime. He owned Mateo's character. Mollie's portrayal of Violet was perfect. She brought out her determination, fierceness, stubbornness, and her sassy personality. I felt every emotion through their voices, the intensity was captured as wwell as the tenderness which was growing between them. As usual Jason Clarke's voice was like music to my ears, while Mollie's added to the symphony resuting in an unforgettable narration.

SAVAGE KING is a high angst, cat and mouse, emotional, passionate ride which had me on the edge of my seat. I hung on every word and action, never letting go. Mateo and Violet have become my favourite couple of the series, but who knows, Carson may top them with his story Vicious King .

Every story has been irresistible, alluring, captivating and utterly addictive. As we enter Book 3, Savage King, I already know I’m going to feel the loss when this incredible series eventually comes to an end. Thankfully, we still have one more book to look forward to—and I’m keeping everything crossed that Natalie Kane might just decide to extend this amazing world.

Savage King is an explosive dark mafia, cat-and-mouse romance that grabs you from the very first page and refuses to let go. The chemistry between Mateo and Violet is electric, with a passion that burns fiercely throughout the story, but beneath the heat lies an emotional mystery that becomes the true heartbeat of the novel.

Savage King is book 3 in the Kings of Las Vegas series from author Natalie Kane. We finally get Mateo’s story and Violet was definitely his perfect match.

Mateo was such an obsessed hero. I also found him being well balanced with a humorous side to him as well. Mateo had a possessive and protective nature, which fit perfectly in his mafia world. He loved Violet literally wouldv'e done anything for her including but not limited to laying down his life or the life’s of his friends.

Violet i absolutely loved her. Not only was she a badass character . She was strong and real. But her sass and strength to get through each day on a hunt to find her sister was an absolute pleasure to watch unfold. The fact that she was a badass fighter herself and a tattoo artist only added to her depth as a character. She was Mateo’s partner in every sense and wanted to be right by his side fighting the enemy.

The audiobook was performed perfectly in duet by Mollie Stark and Jason Clarke. Mollie portrays Violet perfectly. She showed us her sassy side and her strong side but also emotional aspects when she talked about her sister. Jason has such a versatility in roles. As Mateo he was able to show us his deep growl’s voice and showed us Mateo as the possessive Mafia King. This performance by both narrators was spot on.

My only negative feedback is it was a little more insta love than I typically like and I just felt a little off with the ending like I wanted more updates on Diego n Rose and how that all played out. Maybe a future book possibly but for this book i just felt the ending was a bit rushed… otherwise solid book

I think Violet might be my new favorite FMC! She is an absolute badass with the biggest heart, and I loved her from the very beginning. And Mateo? Easily a top-tier MMC. I have such a soft spot for the tough, intimidating guy who’s only soft for her, and Mateo delivered that perfectly.

Five years ago, Violet’s sister disappeared without a trace. Refusing to give up hope, Violet stayed in the same apartment all those years, believing her sister might come home one day. Then out of nowhere, she receives a letter postmarked from Las Vegas. Her sister says she’s alive, mentions something about underground MMA fighting, and tells Violet she misses her. Without hesitation, Violet packs up and heads to Vegas, determined to find her.

That’s where Mateo comes in.

Mateo is part of a band of brothers Las Vegas mafia and runs an underground MMA ring. Right before one of his fights, he spots Violet on the security cameras. The second they lock eyes, it’s game over for him. Their chemistry is instant, leading to a one-night stand… but Violet has an ulterior motive. Convinced Mateo knows something about her sister’s disappearance, she agrees to go back to his house, drugs him, and searches every inch of it for answers, only to come up empty-handed.

The next morning, one of Mateo’s “brothers” arrives with the security footage of Violet snooping through his house. Mateo’s reaction had me laughing because he wasn’t even angry, he was completely fascinated by her.

These two were absolutely perfect together. Their chemistry was off the charts, the banter was fantastic, and I loved watching Mateo fall harder with every chapter. What made me love him even more was how fiercely he committed himself to helping Violet search for her sister. He never questioned her determination and stood by her every step of the way.

Violet and Mateo are easily one of my favorite couples, and I was hooked from start to finish.

4.5⭐ This one slayed me! No matter how hard I brace myself before reading a Natalie Kane novel, I'm never prepared enough. These Kings of Vegas are just that. They're hardened men who own the city and are trying to turn things around for the good of mankind. But most importantly, they are loyal to all that they call ‘family’. In this story, I love Violet for Mateo, I think they’re a perfect match! She’s a spitfire, but she settles his mind. He’s the first person in a really long time to take care of her, and to care for her. Together they have hilarious and teasing banter and smoking hot smexy times. The dirty talk! I love all of it!

Violet was surviving on her own, spending the last 7 years looking for her kidnapped sister, the only family she has left in this world. Until Mateo. He already knew after just one kiss, that she was his soulmate. He just needed to get to the heart of her secrets and convince her that he’s more than just a one and done kind of guy. He was everything she didn't know she needed - a formidable protector, giver of all things, including his family (his tight knit group of friends he calls family). This book was full of action, heart stopping swoon, and characters that left me wanting more! I can't wait for the next one! I just know that Carson’s story will break me!
And please, Natalie Kane, please say that the King’s seconds will all get their own story! I need to know that Rose and Diego find a HEA.
I also listened to the audiobook and I found myself stopping in my tracks. I usually listen to audiobooks while I’m cooking or working out in the garden. But these two narrators were so amazing that I actually stopped what I was doing several times, because I just needed to listen without distraction.

She got a tip about an underground fight club and has been going there every night trying to see her sister.
And then, one night, the owner of the club, who is there to fight, sees her and becomes literally obsessed with her.
He convinces her to go home with him and she can't resist him.
And after that this book becomes raw, unhinged, passionate, obsessive.

I liked this book so much more than what I was expecting.
Mateo is so crazy that he often ends up being so funny. Violet is brave and strong. Together they are ❗️and 🔥. And they are dark in an addictive way.

Little does he know, she has ulterior motives, sure he has something to do with the disappearance of her sister. Neither wants a relationship, but as he discovers Violet’s secrets, he will stop at nothing to help her find her sister and make Violet his.

Mateo is a man obsessed, and it was so hot! He knew what he wanted and stopped at nothing to get it. Violet was a fierce and sassy woman who refused to be intimidated by anyone. I loved how she stood up for herself and never stopped searching for her sister. Both of their strong personalities play perfectly off each other, making their banter sharp and chemistry electric. I loved how Mateo knew Violet was the one from the moment he set eyes on her. No one writes an obsessive hero quite like Natalie Kane. Watching the mystery of the sister’s disappearance unravel alongside their romance made the payoff even more satisfying, everything was connected in a way that worked for the story.

Beyond the romance is the relationship between the Four Kings of Vegas. They are a brotherhood and have a bond that is unbreakable. Adding in the women they have chosen to love creates a little family that has so much connection. The blend of romance, mystery, and suspense is perfect. It is a high-stakes ride that is filled with darkness and romance.

If you love a woman who is searching for answers and a man who will stop at nothing to help her, this is the perfect book for you.

Intense and emotional story with wonderfully complex characters.

Reading Savage King while also listening to the audiobook was such an incredible experience. Being able to switch between the two meant I never had to stop, no matter what I was doing… and honestly, I didn't want to. Jason Clarke's performance as Mateo, one of the four Kings of Vegas, was captivating. He perfectly captured every side of Mateo: the fierce protector, the savage king, and the man haunted by his demons yet capable of immense love. Mollie Stark was equally outstanding as Violet, bringing to life the tough, relentless heroine who refuses to give up, and the woman Mateo can't help but become obsessed with.

As Violet navigates the dangerous underworld of Vegas in search of her missing sister, she crosses paths with Mateo, the other Kings, and the women who stand beside them. She's quickly welcomed into their circle, though she understandably struggles to trust them at first. Once she realizes they've earned her trust, she's all in. I loved Violet's determination to find her sister, her no-nonsense attitude, and the undeniable chemistry that sparks between her and Mateo from the very beginning.

I couldn't get enough of these characters. My heart ached for them and celebrated with them as they grew closer to each other while uncovering more clues about Violet's sister, Rose. The banter between Violet and Mateo was one of my favorite parts of the story. Just when you think Mateo is letting his guard down, he reminds you exactly why he's known as the Savage King.

Natalie Kane has absolutely hit a home run with this series. I'm completely invested in these men and the fiercely strong women who love them. I can't wait for Carson's story, even though I'll be sad to say goodbye to this world when the series comes to an end.

Savage King is book 3 in the Kings Of Vegas series and it can be read entirely fine as a standalone, although for a better feel at the found family I definitely recommend starting with book 1. Every single time I read a book in this series I don't think I can love it as much as the last and Natalie knocks it out each time. This series has me in a chokehold. This book was amazing, the plot was fantastic, the story phenomenal, the pacing perfect and the characters addictive. I INHALED this book in one breath, couldn't stop. I'm utterly obsessed with this series. There was the right amount of action, romance, spice and plot!

Mateo is what you called an obsessed man. When he sees Violet he knows he wants her, needs her and will protect her with his life. I loved that he was a Mafia boss but also an underground fighter, I thought that aspect was so fun. Violet is a tattoo artist searching for her sister and she is a total baddie. I loved that both were tattooed and pierced, it was so hot. The way they loved each other was absolutely unhinged and I was here for every second. Their chemistry was unreal, their banter was so much fun and their relationship messy, it felt real and genuine the way their relationship grew.

Overall, this third installment was a great add on, every book adds more to the series and character relationships. I can't wait for the next one.

🎧 The narration by Jason Clarke & Mollie Stark was stunning. They nailed everything. The tones, the emotions, the way they brought the characters to life, they truly enhanced the story so much even if it is already a 5 star. I highly recommend all the audios for this series !

I was lucky enough to receive both the ARC and the ALC for this book, and it was an absolute treat to do both!
Violet’s independence and her past experiences made her stand out and gave her a strong, captivating presence. Matteo, who faced his own challenges yet remained strong and caring. Their relationship was hilarious with all their banter, making their connection hot, spicy and heartwarming.

The audiobook narrated by Jason Clarke and Mollie Stark was fantastic. Their voices made the story feel alive, capturing the feelings of pain, love, and struggle in a very genuine way. They worked together perfectly, which made listening to it a really special experience.

Thoughts
I really enjoyed how, even with all the drama and fighting, the Kings of Vegas stayed close as brothers. Their strong friendship and how they support each other, along with the women’s part in the story, made this a great read. The banter between the brothers and their wives is top-tier. Their hilarious jabs and care for each other brought such a fun element to the book! Thank you for sending me advance copies. I am over the moon to be in this world.

Y’ALL. Mateo King has officially stolen the crown and become my favorite MMC of the series so far. There was just something absolutely irresistible about him. Maybe it was the insta-love. Maybe it was the way he was completely obsessed with Violet from the very beginning. Or maybe it was the delicious cat-and-mouse game these two played that had me kicking my feet and refusing to put the book down.

Mateo and Violet’s chemistry was off-the-charts electric. Every interaction felt charged, every chase had me craving more, and watching Mateo fall harder and harder for Violet was everything I wanted. The man was down bad, and honestly? We love to see it.
Now let’s talk about the audio because WOW. Jason Clarke continues to prove why he’s one of my all-time favorite narrators. He absolutely embodied Mateo and brought every ounce of his intensity, charm, and obsession to life.

And Mollie Stark? She is quickly becoming one of my new favorite female narrators! Her performance as Violet was phenomenal. She captured Violet’s strength, vulnerability, and fire perfectly. At this point, she’s climbing right up there with Samantha Brentmoor on my list of favorite female narrators.

If you’ve been loving the Kings of Vegas series, Savage King is a must-read and must-listen. The romance, tension, obsession, and unforgettable characters made this an easy five-star read for me!

This series just keeps getting better with every book! I absolutely adored Rome & Lulu, but Mateo & Violet completely stole my heart.

I both read and listened to this book, and let me tell you the audiobook was perfection. Jason Clark and Mollie Stark delivered such an emotional and incredibly addictive performance that I couldn’t take my headphones off. I ended up devouring the book in one sitting.

Mateo and Violet’s chemistry is off the charts from the very first moment they meet. I loved that this wasn’t a slow burn thank goodness! I don’t think I could have survived if they’d kept teasing each other for hundreds of pages. Mateo falls first, falls hard, and will stop at nothing to win his queen, and I was completely here for it.

Violet is such an amazing FMC. She’s strong, determined, and refuses to give up on finding her baby sister, who disappeared seven years ago. I admired her resilience and loved watching her find people who truly had her back. Seeing the girls welcome Violet into their group and become her found family warmed my heart. Found family will always be one of my favorite tropes.

And of course, I loved catching up with the previous characters throughout the story.

Now I desperately need Carson’s book and his HEA! I thought I had a pretty good idea of who his love interest might be… but that ending completely threw me off. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
