Great book

This was definitely a 5 star. Great mystery with lots of twist and turns. Old models turning up dead, is this just a coincidence or a series killer. It was a great mystery right from page 1 to the end. Elle Grays books are always good.

Unimpressed with this super FBI team

For a team that is supposed to be the best, they sure do miss a lot and make stupid decisions. Joey thinks she knows where the killer is hiding. She sends her team back to do paperwork, essentially, and tells them she is going after the guy. Even if her team needed to do other things, she could have called the local PD to go in with her. It was definitely a TSTLomwnt for Joey. It was also stupid that her team let her get away with it despite her being the boss.

Another great series

Elle.Grays masterful storytelling is here in this new series, and this is the second book. Just finished it and this author sure knows how to write a cliff-hanger. The antagonist nature of the main character, Joey has an unusual set of co-workers that continue to challenge each other and at times antagonize each other. But they work well together in the long run. The story is an FBI series with the usual twists and turns.

This was fast paced and had a lot of suspense throughout the story. Strong, intelligent characters and a clever plot kept the pages turning. One of my favorite authors!

Really good read!

I love Ms. Gray's writing style and am so happy to see the new series. Will await the next installment. Also the ending was unexpected and not what I thought was going to happen.

great job

I so enjoyed this book. True suspense. A budding relationship. Terrific FBI crew and no erotica for several chapters of the book that I have to skip to see what’s going on in the real story.

great until

Was super invested and then the ending came. Felt amateur. Joey in heels and a dress going for a serial killer alone? Just not realistic and lost me in those details .
