📖Genre & Tropes📖 : paranormal romance x fated mates x curse plot x more or less MMF x forced proximity x virgin hero x spicy

⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐~⭐

The final installment of a trilogy that didn’t quite win me over

I admit I was super eager to read this book buuuut in the end, I was a little disappointed ><

The book isn’t bad : the plot was interesting and I quite liked the romance BUT I was expecting something more emotionally intense ! I felt the Slayer wasn't dark or tormented enough given his past, Adam adapted a bit too quickly to his "shared" existence, and I didn't really connect with Iris ... I think I was expecting something darker and more tense; the lighthearted—and at times almost comical—tone (especially with the Slayer) threw me off a bit !

All in all, a light and original paranormal romance, but nothing more !

This was cute but could not compare to the first two books - which I really enjoyed.

The story is okay, part of it is taking place at the same time as book 2 and I could not remember all the details from that one. The characters are charming as always but the thing I just could not get into is the "why choose with a twist" theme. So this book is definitely why choose and basically the FMC is with two MMCs in this story. And I´m sure if you are a why choose fan at heart, you might like this a lot more than me. I have nothing against why choose, but in this special case the MMC1 Slayer shares a body with his (involuntary) vessel Adam who is MMC2.

While this is definitely an interesting dynamic it just wasn´t for me and because of that I just could not get warm with it, especially because there´s a fated mates scenario involved. Slayer, who is a vampire slayer and some kind of deity without a body is Iris´s fated mate, who waited millenia for her and is an inexperienced virgin, because he stayed loyal to her in all his possessions of different human bodies. I love this shit. But since Adam is still concious inside his own body he becomes a character as well and has to learn to share his body with Slayer. I´ve never been a fan of fated mates sharing and I could not shake the feeling of Adam being in the way of the romance of Iris and Slayer, lmao. It kind of felt odd to me knowing that Slayer has no body of his own and never will have. Physically it´s always Adam, even if they decide to have kids one day, though this does not seem to be the case in the epilogue many years later .

Also this book is rather short and there´s simply not enough time to build up a believable romance with two different men in that amound of time. I also did not love, that the first time they have sex, it´s Adam taking over - even though Slayer was "present" I would´ve preferred the spotlight on him and his "first time". I felt robbed, lol.

The story itself was okay, but did not pull me in like the first two books and the ending was way too easily solved. But otherwise I still had a good time, but I admit to be a little bored from time to time. I wish there was a little more exploration of Slayer adapting to the modern world, since the last time he had a body was like a hundred years or longer ago. This story focuses more on the threat that looms over them and doesn´t leave a lot of room for more everyday things.

I would´ve enjoyed the story a lot more if there was only one MMC or if both of them had their own bodies. But this is simply a personal preference and I´m sure a lot of readers will love this dynamic.

Safety:
Safe, at least when it comes to the romance between Slayer and Iris. Slayer is, like I said above a virgin and Iris is his first everything. But if you sqint, since he´s in Adams body, his body is basically not, lol. Adam is experienced but could never hold any relationships. His family sucks and he´s kind of lonely. He´s the kind of guy who, if I remember correctly has meaningless sex after club visits, but nevertheless did not seem like a manho or anything. Iris is experienced but not as much - no man has ever given her an orgasm but there´s mention of one-night stands, not really any meaningful relationships.

5 ⭐️ ONE BODY. TWO MEN. ONE VERY CONFUSED WITCH.

Imagine spending a thousand years waiting for your fated mate, only to finally find her and discover she is absolutely NOT impressed that you’ve shown up on her doorstep.

Now add the fact that you’re sharing a body with another man who has his own personality, opinions, and absolutely no idea how he ended up in this supernatural disaster.

Yep. That’s The Slayer Seduction.

Iris is a celestial witch who definitely wasn’t out here looking for a mate. Then Slayer crashes into her life—literally bringing centuries of history, vampire-slaying duties, and one very complicated situation with Adam along for the ride.

And honestly? The dynamic between all THREE of them was everything.
Slayer has been waiting for his mate for centuries and is completely gone for Iris, while Adam is basically the human embodiment of “HOW DID MY LIFE TURN INTO THIS?!”
Meanwhile, Iris is just trying to figure out how to deal with two very different men sharing one body… and her chaotic little fox familiar seems determined to play matchmaker.

There were so many moments that had me laughing because watching Slayer attempt to understand modern life—and specifically understand women—was comedy gold.

This book gave me:
🖤 A thousand-year wait for his mate
🖤 A seriously devoted MMC
🖤 One body, TWO personalities
🖤 A witch who was not looking for any of this
🖤 A hilarious familiar with its own agenda
🖤 Supernatural chaos
🖤 Slow-burn romance
🖤 Plenty of emotional moments
🖤 And an ending that had me smiling

I loved how different Adam and Slayer were and how the story explored them figuring out how to coexist while Iris was caught right in the middle of it all.

It was funny, strange, sweet, chaotic, and completely entertaining in the best way.
Sarah Blue really said “let’s take a paranormal romance and make the relationship dynamics as complicated as humanly possible” and I was HERE FOR IT.

A fun conclusion to the series that brought together witches, vampires, and one very unconventional supernatural hero.

If you like your paranormal romance with chaos, humor, fated mates, and a romance situation that makes you say “HOW IS THIS GOING TO WORK?” add this one to your TBR.

Thank you Sarah and Team for the ARC, this review is my own thoughts and opinions never paid for!

3.5 stars. The Slayer Seduction is the 3rd book in the Celestial Witches series, which I’ve had so much fun with! In this book we have a witch heroine and the Slayer who is her mate (but it’s complicated since he’s in a human body as well).

This was such an interesting one in the series, while not my favorite, it was still a fun time and the MF (MFM?) situation made it feel unique. Iris is a witch who has been having darker and more disturbing visions. She’s worried about her bestie Ember (the heroine of The Fang Arrangement) and visions she’s started seeing revolving around her. Around the same time she runs into Slayer, who has been waiting millennia to find his mate…while he’s currently inside the host body of Adam.

We get some fun times for sure in this one, with two people/personalities sharing one host body. And the fact that they can communicate and give directions to one another added another layer too. The romance was the most interesting part of this one of how it would all work out, but I feel like it did resolve itself pretty quickly and Iris was accepting of the situation real quick. I definitely wanted more build up for the characters. Overall another fun one in the series though and getting to see more witch action in this one!

I received an ARC, all thoughts in this review are my own.

He’s been waiting for her for a millennia.

Slayer is an ancient entity. When mortals sacrifice one of their own for Slayer who will keep them safe, he takes over their body and unalives vampires. For centuries and centuries. And all this time, he was promised a mate.
So living in different bodies and different eras, he’s back.
And his mate is alive and well. He’s ready for her.
I mean, can you imagine knowing what your mate looks like, finding her to be the most beautiful woman ever and having to wait so damn long?!

“The only thing that gives me the will to return is the image of my mate. I will be their Slayer. I will return to the mortal lands time and time again, hunting the beasts that plague their fragile little lives, but only for her. She is my purpose.”

Pining for a millennia
He falls First
Slayer is a Virgin. (Waited for his mate 🥹)
Forced Proximity
She’s a witch with a funny familiar 🦊
2 guys 1 body

Iris is a Celestial witch and isn’t looking for a mate. But when a huge, tattooed, and hot many shows up bloody on her doorstep saying they are mates.. I mean … she’s not exactly thrilled.

And Adam. The body that Slayer took over? Yes.. Adam is still in his body too. And he’s the sweetheart. The artist.
He doesn’t know WTF is happening only he needs Slayer out of his body asap.

It’s a slower burn. Slayer tries so hard to get a spark of interest out of Iris and she’s not having it. 😂
It’s a race to find a spell book to separate Adam and Slayer.
But Iris’ familiar is trying hard to bring everyone closer but making Slayer watch trash tv and read books on how to understand women. 😂
“He’s trying, mistress. He’s like a caveman brought to the future. Be patient.” 🦊😂

Another cute and fun story by Sarah Blue
I’ve loved all her books and this one is fantastic.
Yea to an HEA and epilogue in the future 🩷

*Cozy fantasy
*MF(M)- I didn't know that is possible, but worth it
I really liked this final book. Here we have the Iris story and her mate(s). Seriously, I love the Slayer, but Adam surprised me. This story has a good background and is the perfect ending for this triology.

Iris meets a bloody, injured man who claims to be her mate. He's a vampire slayer who's been summoned into a vessel, but Adam is not ready to let go his body. Can Iris figure out what to do with both The Slayer and Adam?

Read if you like:

I feel like I've been waiting for The Slayer Seduction for a long time. Sarah Blue teased Iris and her slayer and I immediately got excited for their book. And it did not disappoint. She did such a good job of balancing Adam and They Slayer on the page. Two very different love interests in one body is something I don't think I've ready before but Sarah makes me wish there was more of it out there in paranormal romance or monster romance. I loved how they were so different but also so willing to work together to win Iris. A down bad MMC (or MMCs) always delivers. And The Slayer Seduction also delivered on the paranormal which a delicious magical mystery and quest.

3.5⭐️ 3🌶️

I can’t believe this series is over! 😭 I have loved the Celestial Witches so much.

When Sarah said this was going to be an MFM with two of the MMCs sharing one body, I was so excited! I think I’ve only read it once or twice before and it usually means there will be hilarious bickering between the two MCs. And there was certainly tension between the Slayer and Adam at first.

I loved Iris. She was amazing. But who really stole the show for me was Adam. I LOVED that man. He wasn’t a pushover, fighting the Slayer when he wanted him to just disappear and let him have control over their body. But he was also so kind and protective when it came to Iris. Except for when it came to the spice. I love a soft dom.

Where I struggled with this book at first was the Slayer. It took me a really long time to warm up to him. He did eventually win me over but it wasn’t easy.

I loved the ending and how it wrapped up the series in such a pretty and satisfying bow.

Thank you to Sarah for this ARC.

I have been eagerly awaiting The Slayer Seduction ever since we got a tease of them in the Fang Arrangement and oh my goodness, this didn't disappoint. I could not put it down. It had all the familiar witchy comfort that I've come to love about the Celestial Witches series, with a perfect dash of tension, pining, and angsty forbidden enemies to lovers vibes. The two characters sharing one body was done so well here, and both Adam and the Slayer were equally fleshed out (I never felt like one of them was a "primary" and the other was a secondary which I think is important because I feel like that can easily happen when there's multiple personalities or "personas" in one body. I loved that Iris didn't immediately fall for the Slayer/Adam either and that they had to work for it. Watching her slowly grow attached was very satisfying. And of course I absolutely loved our foxy familiar - she was hilarious and I kinda love that she instantly liked the Slayer from the get go.

This was an enjoyable read and a great ending to this series. Sarah Blue slayed this (pun intended).

A fun concept that needed a little more room to shine.

This was an entertaining read, but sadly my least favourite of the series. The supernatural world, the humour, and the unusual situation Adam and Slayer find themselves in kept me engaged, and some of their interactions were genuinely amusing.

My biggest struggle was with the romance. The idea of two men sharing one body is certainly original, but it made it difficult for me to fully invest in either relationship. I also never connected with Iris as much as I did with the heroines in the previous books.

Everything felt a little rushed, from the romantic development to the resolution of the main conflict. I would have loved more character development, particularly seeing Slayer find his place in the modern world after centuries away from it. And honestly, I wanted more time with both men before the story wrapped up!

Despite my criticisms, I still enjoyed the ride. The cosy atmosphere, entertaining side characters, and humorous moments made this a pleasant read, and the epilogues were a nice touch.

Not quite the finale I was hoping for, but I'm glad I read it. The first two books remain my favourites, and this series is still worth checking out if you enjoy quirky paranormal romances! ❤️

4.75 ⭐️This was such a good ending to this series omg I'm gonna cryyyyyy!!

Full RTC cause I have been studying all day, and just took a break to finish reading this, and now my brain feels like it will explode if I try to write anything that is semi-understandable. Just know that if you haven't read this series, you are officially missing out and that the PERFECT time to start it would be Halloween... So, like. Right now.

The only reason that this is not a full 5 stars is that the whole Adam/Slayer/Iris dynamic was not as fully fleshed out as I would've liked. Like, we get it, they're mates, but like what else is there? It felt like Adam and Iris relationship, especially, was just there from the start because she felt bad for him? idk. I'm not convinced.

This was probably my favorite book out of the series. Sarah took an idea that could have been more bad weird than good weird, and made it amazing. We have two MMC's in one body, and watching them come to terms with each other was hilarious and unique. Sarah did a good job of making Slayer & Adam feel like two completely different characters. They each had their own voice and vibe.

I love Iris! She's such a bad ass witch and I love that it took her a bit to come around to her MMC's. You can tell she's use to being pretty independent, so suddenly having this "person" going on about mates had to be shocking.

Iris's familiar though steals the show. Scarlett is a fox and she's doing everything in her power to bring her mistress and the Slayer/Adam together. She's a cleaver little thing and I love her.

I'm sad to see this series end but it went out on such a high note! I might have to do a reread this spooky season.

What a fangtastic end to such a good series! I was looking forward to the Slayer and Iris from the second we met him in book two and I was not let down! I love how insanely obsessed with Iris he was, she definitely deserves it. And Adaaaaammm, my bossy boy! Seeing Adam and Slayer become one was honestly the best part of the whole book! All in all I loved this series so much and it goes without saying but if Sarah writes it, I'm gonna read it!

Genre: Adult Paranormal Romance
Spice: 3/5🌶️

The Catalog: MF(M), witch x vampire slayer, two MMCs trapped in the same body, seer FMC, fated mates, Eddy x Venom vibes, magic promises, hurt/care, fated mates, fox familiar, MMC clueless about romance, forced proximity, untouched orgasm, inexperienced MMC, finger warming, found family

CWs: past abusive childhood

Kink: bondage, praise & light degradation, cock warming & finger warming

Synopsis:
Iris’s visions have been increasingly worrisome, but she can’t figure out what they’re trying to show her. But everything becomes clear when a man appears in her home claiming that he is a vampire Slayer that has waited millennia to be with her. Iris has zero intention of being anyone’s mate, but she has to keep him away from those she loves. Then, she realizes that the man whose body the Slayer possessed is still trapped inside his body, and she vows to help him.

Thoughts:

Did I know that I needed a MFM romance in which two men are trapped inside of the same body? No, I didn’t, but now that I’ve experienced the possibility, I’ll forever be thinking about how lovely it must be to have two boyfriends with the same magic wand.

It’s bittersweet that this cozy paranormal series is now complete, but I really enjoyed Iris’s story. I didn’t know where Sarah was going to take us given the nature of Slayer and Adam’s predicament, but I found their shared body experience to be adorably quirky and endlessly charming. I kind of love them, y’all. It was also wonderful to see Iris get her HEA alongside her besties from book one and two!

Also, I must praise all of the animal familiars we’ve met in this series! Scarlett, Iris’s fox, was a wonderful addition to the band of ornery animals. They were such a humorous part of every story!

I enjoyed how the series wrapped up and the epilogues were wonderful glimpses into the future for these characters that I’ve come to love! Definitely recommend this series for your autumnal reading! ✨

It was a perfect last book to a perfect series. I am sure I'm going to miss this universe. It was just so creative, and I loved all of our witches end up with their non conventional partners. We had werewolves and vampires but for our last book we had something called a slayer whose purpose is to kill vampires - you can imagine it gets slightly tense due to our witch Iris having a best friend who is mated to a vampire....

Adam was just a normal guy getting on with his life when he is tricked to come back home under false pretences and his family possess his body with The Slayer, the two end up sharing the body and if that was not complex enough. The Slayer was promised a mate in one of his many life times, and just so in this one, she is there, and who is she? Iris, completely unaware that a violent vampire Slayer is heading her way straight to his mate.

A lot of this book is all 3 of them trying to find a balance between each other, and it is definitely not the easiest thing they have been tasked to do ever. I loved all of the quirks and little things that made our characters the way they are, there were so many funny and amusing parts to this book, which made me so intrigued and hooked to the plot.

I have never read a book where you basically have 2 men in one both after the girl and trying to figure out not only a way to share the body but share her between them too. That was probably the biggest thing they had to overcome. I don't want to give much of the plot away but I highly recommend reading this but it is advised to read the first two books to get familiar with all the characters are there is a lot of past things mentioned to be aware of in the final book!

🧡 romance paranormal
🧡 bruxa X caçador de vampiros (e o humano de quem ele ocupa o corpo)
🧡 parceiros predestinados
🧡 uma raposa como familiar
🧡 sob o mesmo teto
🧡 par amoroso DOWN BAD

“Should I tell her I’ve waited for her for thousands of years? That the only reason living was worthwhile was at the promise of bowing down and worshiping her was on the horizon? I’d finally met my purpose.”

Iris’ book is here and just in time for spooky season!! If you love cozy paranormal romances with banter and chemistry and quirky characters (and talking familiars!) I think you will really enjoy this book!

We have gotten to know Iris a little bit in previous books - she’s strong and independent…and apparently has a slayer as a fated mate…AND she has a best friend with a vampire for a mate - so yes things are a little complicated. And speaking of complicated - Adam is tricked into becoming a “moral vessel” for the slayer…

I really liked the unique twist on the why choose trope - two guys in one body!! Adam and the Slayer were two very different characters and I liked how we see Iris develop relationships with both of them…and how Adam and the Slayer learn to coexist and maybe even help each other out 😉 It was NOT immediately smooth sailing and our trio have some things to work through.

Scarlett the fox familiar was an absolute gem - she’s sassy and witty and I loved her so much right from “men” on!!! All the familars in this series were so much fun. I’m sad to see the series come to an end, but felt very satisfied with the ending. Be sure and read the epilogues!!

✨What To Expect:
😈Paranormal Romance
🔥MF(M) Romance - the two men share a body
🔮Seer Witch
🩸Vampire Slayer / Human
❤️‍🔥Forced Proximity
⁉️Mystery
🌙Fated Mates

This was so fricking cute and funny!
I'm so sad that this is the end of this series. I have loved this trilogy so much. I have been waiting for this to come out and it did not disappoint.

Iris is fiercely independent because she has always had to be. She has never felt romantic love and always puts others before herself.

The Slayer has been waiting for a millennia to meet his mate. He was promised Iris in return for becoming a vampire slayer. She is supposed to be his prize for a job well done. The only issue is that Iris has no idea about this.

Adam had a shitty childhood with an awful family and was finally living his life. Until his family betray him and sacrifice him so that he becomes the Slayers vessel.

The Slayer cannot push Adam away from his mind like he has done with his past vessels.
They keep fighting for dominance in Adams body and mind.

In order to protect Iris, they must work together.

This was so funny, sweet & spicy.
I'm not usually a fan of why choose romances but this one worked because they were both in the same body.
I was completely hooked throughout.
This is a perfect autumn book. Its a light and cosy read.

Special shout out to Scarlett the fox. I loved her ❤️

SLAYER SEDUCTION absolutely ATE 😭🔥 book 3 in the celestial witches series and i am NOT okay
iris has spent this whole series getting visions she can't decode, and everything shifts when a man shows up in her house claiming he's a vampire slayer who's waited millennia to find her 💀 girl has zero interest in being anyone's mate, but she'll do anything to keep him away from the people she loves
then the twist: adam, the human whose body the slayer took over, is still trapped inside. still alive in there. and iris decides she's saving him too
so now we've got the fated mates trope this series is known for, but layered with a "falling for two personalities in one body" situation, and reader i was UNWELL 🩸 adam and the slayer are SO different from each other, both completely obsessed with iris, and their back-and-forth banter might be the funniest thing i've read all year. iris wanting both of them, unbothered? a mood
celestial witches has fully rewired my brain, need book 4 immediately 📖✨

Things to know

A fresh take on a why choose romance. This one brings together a seer witch, a vampire slayer, and a possessed human.

NGL, I wasn’t sold on the slayer with his introduction in The Fang Arrangement but I should have known Sarah Blue would come through. And honestly, if Iris's fox familiar approves of him? I'm approving too.

I found both the Slayer and Adam endearing. Their rocky start made the journey to their HEA genuinely hard-fought and satisfying. The chemistry develops naturally, and the banter is so fun.

That said, you definitely want to read the other books in this series to appreciate this one fully. There's an overlapping timeline that works beautifully, and getting the slayer's point of view on events from Fang Arrangement adds so much depth. These books are clearly designed to work together, and that's actually one of my favorite things about the series.

This was exactly the ending a great series deserves!

The Slayer Seduction was just fine. And honestly, kind of boring. The Celestial Witches series started off really strong for me, but I’ve felt each book lessen slightly in terms of story and characters. The first book is still easily my favourite, while this third book ended up being the weakest of the trilogy.

It wasn’t bad by any means. There just wasn’t much that felt memorable. Adam, The Slayer and Iris’ familiar Scarlett were easily the standouts. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Adam and The Slayer and the kind of MFM element that came with two completely different men sharing one body. That was probably the most interesting part of the story for me.

Iris was actually the witch I expected to find the most interesting going into the trilogy, but surprisingly she just felt kind of there in her own book. I never really connected with her or felt like she left much of an impression. The spice was good and there were some fun moments, but outside of Adam, The Slayer and Scarlett, there just wasn’t much that stuck with me. Not bad. Not great. Just fine, and unfortunately a little boring.

I truly do NOT want this series to be over. All three of these books have been the cutest, mad funny, and super sexy paranormal romances ever. The Slayer/Adam duo in this was equal parts so hilarious and also so sweet with how they both were so gone for Iris. I love how Slayer was suchhhhh a cinnamon roll while being big bad vampire slayer, and the way that Iris slowly felt the pull of them and their bond really just made this so great. Also, again with an animal familiar that I just absolutely adore.

Thank you for the early copy and all thoughts and opinions are my own! I love being on Sarah’s team and being able to read these wonderful stories early!

I’ve loved this series from the beginning and this was a wonderful way to wrap up the trilogy. This is the first book that I’ve read where there are two MMCs in the same body and it was interesting to see how Sarah made it work!

Overall, this was a cute read that helped me get in the mood for fall!

Thank you Sarah Blue for the arc.
I really loved the first two books of this series and the concept behind it. My problem was that I couldn't get interested in the story, the characters were interesting and the plot well thought but I wasn't hooked enough and I didn't want to force myself to finish it

I think this was my favorite in this series yet! As a Marvel girlie, the dedication referencing Venom and Eddie was in the forefront of my mind and having that spin on this made it so much better. Adam and Slayer’s dynamic really had me laughing in some parts, especially in the beginning. I loved seeing them learn how to share a body and also Iris. This is the perfect fall read!
